Great place! Authentic Mexican Food… very clean place… very friendly waitresses…

Our next door company neighbor at work wanted to order from this place and had the audacity to call me on my cell phone, before I even made it to work, to see if I call this place for them to place an order. No one seems to speak English here. Guess who speak Spanish… yes me. But it’s cool. Cuz’ it gave me a reason to try a new place.
So we ordered the Carne Asada Tacos and the Al Pastor Tacos, plus an order of Guacamole and Chips. It’s 4 tacos to an order for about $ 7 – 8. Pretty good deal. The Guac was about $ 5.50 and generous in both chips and guac.
FLAVOR: totally lacking. I mean it was ok. But there was something missing in both the tacos and guac. I can’t pinpoint what it was. Maybe a little more salt. But regardless the meat was tender and plentiful in each taco.
Another downside is that they do not deliver into Newark. Not even 4 – 5 blocks after the Elizabeth city line. Maybe less than 2 miles. I tried to tell them there are 2 different companies looking to order for delivery, who order out everyday for like 7 people. But they said minimum $ 100 to deliver. WHAT??? OK. Good luck with that. Still 3 stars.
