I like to make custom toasted plain sandwich of chicken teriyaki and BLT with combination of both ranch and honey mustard sauce with lettuce, tomato, cucumbers, green bell pepper, and onions. I like the flavors that come from it. It is okay sandwiches.

In terms of Subway’s in Elmhurst, this location has the most seating. I guess that’s something to go on. I didn’t find it any better, or worse than the other Subway’s in town, and normally it’s not very easy to park here. Not sure what knucklehead designed the parking. However, today I was fortunate enough to find a spot directly in front of the door. Oh, and this Subway has Cherry Coke, that’s worth mentioning! As of this writing there are ninety-six restaurants in Elmhurst. I plan on eating at, and reviewing, every one. Follow me on Unilocal

So I’m going to let you all in on a little secret. I hate Subway. And normally when I eat at one, I don’t even bother checking in. But I’m trying to be a good little Unilocaler and check-in more. Maybe that should be a goal of mine. Although it’d be more helpful to take more photos I think. Perhaps in 2015, because, pfft, we all know the 2014 resolution ship has long sailed. What were we talking about again? Oh, right. Subway. Yuck. Look, I know most people like it. Especially those who eat there regularly. But I come because they have detailed lists of ingredients readily available for those of us counting calories. And since I am, I come here because it’s pretty easy to determine a meal based on my caloric allotment. I like that about Subway, so there’s a star right there. I can’t believe this poor place never had a review. I mean, it’s been here forever. As long as I can remember actually. And the people working here are always polite and super friendly. There’s another star. The chips are well stocked and there’s a huge variety. So a star for that. NotthatIeatthemsinceIamcountingtheaforementionedcalories. It’s clean. Star. Now I’m going to complain a little, but just a little. I don’t like Subway bread. It’s so dry and artificial tasting. It’s like cardboard. And the vegetables, while plentiful, almost always look like they’ve seen better days. And can we talk about the thin spackling of meat they put on their sandwiches? Is ham really that expensive? I’ve seen thicker meat at White Castle. I feel like I’m in some poor starving country that’s rationing meat… not Elmhurst. Wow, how Elmhurst of me to sound all superior. Ick. I should deduct a star from myself for that. So if you like Subway, here it is. Go here. I don’t. It’s not their fault, mostly. So I go here too.
