Moshe retrieved all the data from an eight year old Toshiba that had crashed and installed a new drive. We highly recommend Unitek to any and all looking for such services. The turnaround time was acceptable and the costs were reasonable. A+

Came here because a backup machine (MacBook Pro) battery was so swelled up it was pushing through the Trackpad.
Mosche opened it up.
Took out battery.
Still didn’t work.
Logic board fried. Not worth a repair 2009 model.
No charge and honest. Thanks guys!

My laptop screen was accidentally damaged, which was a terrible inconvenience due to the fact that I’m currently in law school. A representative from the Apple Store in the Westfield Fashion Square shopping mall in Sherman Oaks referred me to Unitek.
Moshe, the friendly Service Manager from Unitek, ordered the part right away and then had my Macbook Pro Retina display fixed in less than half the time it would’ve taken the Apple Store to fix it. Besides that, he also helped me file a purchase protection claim through AmEx so I could potentially be reimbursed for the cost! I am truly grateful that I found this place and would definitely turn to them again if I have any issues with my computer in the future.

i was actually recommended to this place from the Apple store in Sherman Oaks. I’ve been to them twice and dealt with Moshe both times.
They are way faster, a lot cheaper, and nicer than any Apple store.
They fixed a totally dead HD the first time and transferred a boat load of data from an back up the next.
I would highly recommend them to anyone in Apple need.

I just had another unbelievably positive experience with Moshe on the repair side. I brought in my laptop, thinking there was a problem, and after 10 to 15 minutes, we determined that I had made a mistake and there was nothing specific to fix. Moshe was generous with his time and expertise, and did not even mention charging me for the help.
BTW, they moved from their old location to the one listed here (a few blocks away), so if you haven’t been there in a few months, double check!

This place is great! Got recommended by the apple store in the topanga mall. When I got here I met Moshe, extremely nice man. Even charged me less than it was supposed to be! Very fair. My mother paid $ 700 for data recovery at another store, I came here and only spent $ 45 and got a simple explanation of everything that was going on!

I have used Unitek twice. Once to upgrade my MacBookPro to a solid state hard drive and more memory, and just today I went back because (due to an unfortunate incident involving beer which I would rather not discuss) a few letters on my keyboard stopped working. Rathern than soak me for $ 300 or more for a new keyboard, they suggested that I opt for a $ 69 wireless remote keyboard, and just charged me $ 20 for going through and making sure everything else was OK. Awesome. If I ever have any Mac-​related problems, I’m going back to Unitek!

Brian is AWESOME!!! I needed to upgrade my Leopard operating system and UNITEK made it happen for me; as Apple left me out in the cold, with only my hopes in ever reaching X!!! Turnaround was only three days AND he charged me a GREAT and appropriate, ‘oldie but goodie’ 2008 MacBook price! If you need computer service UNITEK is your bet!

Brian helped install my secondary internal disk drive (aftermarket) and ended up diagnosing an additional problem in the process. Helped me fix it at no additional cost! Great place, new location is convenient from then 405 next to the Land Rover dealership. Will return!

I would not just hand my computer over to anyone. With Brian, I trusted him from the very first second I met him and knew I was dealing with someone competent, not to mention very sweet and eager to help. This is exactly the type of person I love to give my business to. It’s so nice to know that I’ve found someone very knowledgable and trustworthy to rely on for all my future computer issues. Brian did not let me leave until he was sure that he, not only had resolved all of my issues and answered all of my questions but, more importantly, I had fully understood his explanations. I am really grateful to him and wish them the very best with the launch of their new location near the Landrover dealership on Ventura Blvd.

My boyfriend’s MacBook Pro had a failing hard drive, so he bought a new solid state drive and they installed it for him in about 10 minutes for a very reasonable price. We’ll both be coming here again for mac related services. Give them a try!

I took my Macbook Pro in for a Hard drive back up and replacement battery. Spoke to Brian over the phone after calling 6 other places who were ridiculously expensive AKA Melrose Mac…
Brian was awesome and the prices are reasonable. It ended up being so much cheaper than taking it to a Mac store or shipping it to them. Plus they so a FREE diagnostic first (some place charge)
Brian was able to save all my important data and files accept the stuff that was on any of the Aps like PhotoBooth and Dashboard but that’s a Mac issue I wasn’t aware of.
My experience with Unitek was great and Brian was able to answer all my question with so much patience.
You never know how freaked out you can get about your computer until it stops working… After Brian fixed my Mac I hugged it… no shame ;) Thanks Brian

Brought my newly– purchased iMac (refurbished) for a diagnostic on Friday as they were closing and they accommodated me. Brian thoroughly went over the computer and had it ready for pick-​up on the following Tues.-free of charge. I’ve been going to Unitek for years– they do great work in a timely manner and are very friendly!

I had a wonderful cyber experience at unitek. The
Computer specialist named Brian, not only installed
4gb of memory for my imac. He also recommended
a way to correctly backup my files. It costs a reasonable amount of money to do all that he suggested. If you’re interested in a way to keep your

I came here around 2013 when genius me decided to spill my water bottle all over my apple. Now granted, I did have an issue because they did not contact me before hand to tell me what they would do to my computer. I told them to please call beforehand but rather they proceeded to go through with it. They still get 5 stars because I went to the apple store prior and they basically said the cost of fixing it would pretty much equate a new computer. I kid you not.
I went here and paid not even a fraction of a price that Apple quoted me and then I even want back literally to the apple store that very day and they were amazed. No… more like dumbfounded. My logic board was basically toast and somehow they were able to perform a miracle. My apple till this day is still working. I felt like I owed them this review and granted it’s a year and a half overdue, they deserve every one of those red stars.

My MacBook stopped working and I took it in to see what was going on.
Moshi was super helpful and explained all the possible causes and solutions, including pricing on worst case scenario. Very sweet guy and incredibly knowledeable as well. Quick service, it turns out there was just a bad cable and all of my files and such were just fine! Yay!
I reccomend this place if you have any issues with your Apple products. I am thankful to have a place that I can trust since I use my Macs for work! :)
