Great food and great atmosphere! It’s in a shoping area of a Target so you what you find on the inside is a pleasant surprise. The tables are spaced out well so you don’t feel like you’re eating next to strangers and they don’t hear your conversation. Great service. Plenty of free parking. Only con is the menu is limited. But what they have is really good.

This is not your typical Mexican restaurant. They have an extensive Latin menu, high backed fancy chairs and a piano player. I imagine all of those factors are why the prices are high, but our food was not worth the mark-up. We ordered the calabacitas soup, crispy rellenos, carne asada and pork tenderloin. The calabacitas soup was pretty tasty, but all of our dishes were overly salty, especially the carne asada. The service we received was mostly fine. An extremely hot plate and a steak knife were plunked down simultaneously within easy reach of our one year old and we had issues with our bill, but otherwise it was relatively expedient and pleasant. Normally I would give a restaurant experience like this three stars, but for the price I expect way better.

Las Brisas won’t disappoint, but probably won’t amaze you either. The food is fresh and authentic, a step above any home cooked meal, but still has the similar feel of being home cooked. I really struggled giving this place the proper amount of stars because while the food was a 3.5, the service and professionalism was a 5. The interior is odd, just an odd layout that messed with my head a little, but apparently the indoor pond has or had turtles in it? I admit I ordered one of the more basic items on the menu, and should have ordered one of their house specialties instead. Overall the place is fine, but far from one of my favorites.

The squash soup was the best soup I ever had. It was truly amazing and the cilantro chicken was delicious as well. Their margaritas were on point and the hostess was incredibly kind and attentive. A little bit of an odd location, but the inside is beautiful and the food more than makes up for it!

Came in with low expectations(Mexican food in Colorado?) But, sat at bar, asked bartender for recommendations. He suggested Pollo Cilantro, Azul or Verde. I went with Cilantro. What a surprise! Great mix of flavors, the blue corn tortillas are hidden within. Btw went with the black beans, no regrets. Very pleasant experience.

Came here on Cinco de mayo for happy hour. They where very busy so I understood why I wasn’t getting one of the famous LB Margaritas as fast as I would have liked, but eventually they got to me. The server said he would bring us chips and salsa but that never showed up. We eventually drank the wonderful Margaritas and wanted another. That was a mission in itself. But eventually our waiter came around. We ordered another round of margs and some $ 1 Tacos they had on special he said he would bring us chips and salsa again. This time nothing came out. We eventually had to ask the host/manager if we could get service. We did get another Margarita but still no chips. Finally my friend just went up to the bar and grabbed some himself. Our Tacos took over a hour to come out so the next time we saw anyone we just asked to pay and get the Tacos togo. They where very fast to take our money unfortunately that was all they where fast at this night. If I was rating them on this one experience it would be much lower but I know they can do better and would like to try again on a slower night when they don’t have as much going on. I hope it will be worth it.

Visited this restaurant based on Unilocal input and was so glad I did. The place was not very busy at around 11:30 on a Monday but was pleasantly surprised as I walked into a Mexican food place that had a fantastic interior with a sweet water fall in the corner. They served me some chips with some salsa which had some zip and I ordered a $ 7.00 lunch. It is great when you can walk into a place and have it be nice but also to get a great lunch for $ 7.00 … I was thinking it must be really not so high quality food but oh boy was I wrong. I ordered after changing my mind about 20 times the beef enchiladas with red sauce. The came with refried beans and rice. I fully expected to get ground beef in my enchiladas as this is pretty much standard fare for mexican but it came with a roasted beef which had amazing depth of flavor. I was so impressed but then I remembered this was only $ 7.00 and then I began wondering what I was going to try tomorrow. So now i sit here wondering what I will be trying later today and it is only 9:00AM. great good, excellent service, outstanding value… That is what I am talking about!!! :)

I had always wanted to try Las Brisas b/c I knew they had paellas, and I LOVEPAELLAS lol. And to my pleasant surprise, I randomly found a sweet deal on Groupon for this place! More signs for me to try it hehe. First, the ambiance was really nice. They sat us right next to the mini fireplace and it was nice and warm and romantic :) I ordered the paella of course and my friend ordered the crunchy enchiladas. Both were delicious! My only complaint about the paella was that the rice wasn’t cooked all the way so it was kinda hard… but the sauce was perfect, the amount of seafood was perfect, there was perfect amount of sausages, and the skillet kept everything warm through the entire duration of the meal! The crunchy enchiladas were wrapped in wonton wrapper, which made it chewy and crunchy at the same time. AMAZING. That’s pretty much my favorite texture of food. I would definitely recommend this dish and would order it again. The total bill came out to about $ 45 for the 2 of us. Not bad at all :) I will definitely be coming back to try some of the other things on their menu. Yay for new finds!

This is not a Mexican restaurant. This is a Latin restaurant that of course includes food from mexico. The family, even the kids, like this place. The staff is friendly and the food is good. The las Brisas salad is especially good, and if you get it with shrimp you get about 6 decent sized shrimp. I also like how they make the guacamole at the table and to your liking. The kids usually share a beef fajita and they don’t talk much(a rarity for them) because they like it so much. It is huge and there are always left overs. The parking is great here with very close spots always available. The bar looks decent and they do have happy hour specials.

What a great place. Went here for lunch with my kids. Very kid friendly. Had a margarita which was excellent and then had the Verde which was outstanding. The kids cheeseburger was huge so be prepared. Service was spot on even during a snowstorm and everyone was very nice and helpful. Lunch menu was a great value. Definitely recommended for a casual yet semi upscale experience for lunch with great food and great value.

We came here for a work lunch. It took over an hour for the food to be served and the food was not good when it came out. The fish I ordered looked like it was cooked in a microwave. A coworker who ordered a breakfast hash in a cast iron skillet could pick up the skillet by the bottom without being burned because it was stone cold. They also mixed up several of our orders. Would advise against this restaraunt if you are searching for quality mexican food. I have to say I am from Texas so maybe I’m biased when it comes to Mexican food.

Nice atmosphere and good food. I got the Azul with chicken and it was good. The enchilada sauce wasn’t too spicy and the portion size was just right. They had live piano music and the customer service was great!

New owner, so we went back. Got the carne asada. It was cooked correctly and was good. The rice however, is another story. No flavor what so ever. Fix the rice and the outdated décor, and all would be great.

This restaurant was a delightful surprise! It’s in a strip mall next to target and I thought it would be a quick meal on the way back from Castle Rock. I walked in and instantly wanted to savor it! The employees were in top form, I felt like I just stepped into an elegant steak house/Seafood restaurant, great decorations and these very pretty slightly beachy chairs. My husband and I were seated next to a cozy fire. I could have sat there and relaxed with coffee for hours after dinner, I’ll definitely go back! My husband’s seafood enchiladas were ok but I honestly expected more out of such a beautiful restaurant. Haciendas are better. BUT my mango chipotle salad was amazing! Great portion of avocado and well cooked chicken, very substantial with a flavorful dressing. I’m dying to try their fish tacos but I doubt I’ll stray from that salad.

A very good Latin/Mexican restaurant. It’s eclectic inside and is reminiscent of the restaurant Rafina in Manhattan. We discovered this little place from a Groupon deal(I’m obsessed with Groupon). We were hungry, but figured we’d share an entrée and have a cup of soup each. It turned out to be a good idea because the portion was very large. We decided on the Caribbean Lamb. Delicious! The lamb was cooked to perfection and melted in our mouthes. Our favorite meat is lamb, so we tend to be a bit snobbish when it’s not done to our liking(neither of us excel in the art of culinary btw). The Calabacita Verde Y Amarilla soup(Mexican squash soup) was amazing. My boyfriend ordered the Sopa De Frioles(Black Bean soup), he enjoyed it but it wasn’t the best he’s had. We also decided to indulge in a couple of Modelo Especial’s which were a good complement to the lamb. $ 4.50 each. The service was very good thanks to Marciano and the ambiance was nice and cozy. They offer attached enclosed patio dining as well as a platformed private dining area and a full bar. I’ve heard that their Margaritas are the best and we’ll have to return for some. They also offer happy hour specials as well as lunch specials. And if you check in on Unilocal you’ll receive a free margarita with the purchase of an entrée. I already have plans to return and treat my parents. I know they’ll really enjoy themselves.

Not only is the food delicious, but you’ll be absolutely floored by how unbelievably/unexpectedly nice the interior of Las Brisas is. Unsuspecting location for such a great place, to boot! This is genuine Mexican food. Not Tex-Mex, not Colo-Mex, but about as authentic as you can get in the DTC/Greenwood Village area. What you need to know: — The Pollo Cilantro is life affirming and should most certainly be on your bucket list. There’s a good reason it’s in so bloody many Unilocal reviews for this joint. — Fajitas — Yeah, I know, everyone does fajitas, but Las Brisas does ‘em right — Great drink/app deals during Happy Hour — Excellent spot for lunch! Great prices, and the staff is seemingly acclimated to having the DTC lunch crowd served quickly. The consistently good service, consistently good food, and consistently good experiences that Las Brisas has provided me will keep me coming back for years to come. Keep up the good work!

I have to admit that I was a little bit underwhelmed. When I saw the reviews, especially for the Pollo Cilantro, I might have gotten my hopes up a little too much for lunch. The portion was good but the chicken was over cooked. That said the flavors were nice but did not knock my socks off. The salsa was very good… better than the guacamole. I am keeping it at 4 stars because we do plan on coming back for the full dinner experience as the menu has a lot of choices we look forward to trying and the prices are reasonable.

I have been going here for I would say about 8 years. My best friend and I first met here for a dinner date. I have to say I am never disappointed and being from SOCAL, I think i expect real mexican food to taste just like it does back home. This place has never let me down over 8 years. I always order the same thing: POLLOCILANTRO, Baked chicken breast stuffed with Monterey Jack, blue corn tortillas and fresh cilantro, topped with jalapeño cream and spicy tomato sauces. Served with Spanish rice and a choice of black or pinto beans. 3 words, TODIEFOR! Tableside guaci s fantastic! I highly recommend everyone try it at least three times.

I haven’t been here since they did all the cool renovations to the building, but we had a really nice dinner here. The service was great, and everything we had was awesome. I really like the Paella, and they give you pretty big portions, so I wasn’t able to eat it all. We had a really good appetizer, but the dinner was so much that we weren’t able to finish things, and we were already stuffed. The bar was nice, without the atmosphere being affected by inebriated ‘bar people.’ I will definitely come back. I always forget that it’s there, so I don’t go there as much a I would like to. I bet the new renovations has made it really cool, they made the outside looks very modern and innovative.

My wife Lani and I share two birthdays with two of our best friends, Alex and Mace. We take turns treating for dinner and we like to try out interesting new places. Since I’m «frugal» aka«cheap» I often use the online coupon sites. Well I picked up a $ 100 one for Las Brisas and off we went to treat my wife and Alex. I had been by the location many times, but never noticed it in the Target strip off Arapahoe and 25. Based on the outside I was ‘ho hum’ another dive, but the interior was surprising large and the tables were not crowded together. None of us drink so I can’t discuss bar fare. We ordered the Table Side Guacamole, Carnitas, Bacon Wrapped Shrimp, my wife the Combo Lemon Plate and my daughter and I ordered the Paella. The Guacamole was certainly fresh and perhaps the highlight. The Carnitas were dry and the Bacon Wrapped Shimp was overdone. My wife thought the lemon flavors fought with the cream sauce rather than enhanced it and she didn’t finish the plate. I thought that the Paella was far too over complicated, far from one of the better paella’s I ever had. The sofrito was poor and there was no sign of a finished socarrat. The chicken was almost non-existent and there were far too many protiens, mussels, chorizo, shrimp. I would have much preferred the dish if it had been listed as a Jambalaya than paella. I think the recipes they follow are a bit pretentious and the skills needed to make this a must go to place are lacking. Over all I would say it a fair deal though, the food is moderately priced and of moderate quality.

I bought a groupon for this place(40⁄25). We got the paella, which is $ 23 for not so much of food, & we got the beef taco which tasted weird. If you check in here you will get a free margarita through Unilocal, but they didn’t accept this offer because I have groupon!

After thinking I’d never find a venue to host my mother’s surprise 60th birthday party that didn’t cost an arm and a leg, I found Las Brisas, and I’m so happy I went with them! They have a beautiful banquet room surrounded by windows at a very reasonable cost! I live in San Diego, so I was planning all of this long-distance. Everyone was super helpful; they provided all the food, flatware, drinks, and even cake and gift tables! It was such a weight off if me! I literally just showed up to throw some decorations on the wall and they handled the rest! The staff was very courteous and helpful the entire night. I was very happy with our experience and the surprise party went off without a hitch! If you need a cost-effective but classy group event, this is the place to go!

It’s been a long time since I’ve visited La Brisas but I have to say the new ownership is doing things right! The casa margarita. still one of the best around! Perfectly tangy and sweet. Still featured on the menu are the old favs… those amazing baked blue corn enchilada dishes: Rajas, Verde and Azul. The queso flameado with spicy chorizo… yum. The updates to the restaurant are fabulous — love the new aquarium. The bar area is super casual and fun, and you never know who is going to be hanging out in there. The dining room is prettier than I remember. And I love the artwork — gorgeous pictures of tropical water… it was like traveling to a warm beach(thus the name — las brisas = breezes)! Great drink prices! A negro modelo and a fresh marg for under $ 10.

We love this place! It had been a while since we have been here and the restaurant is under new ownership. They have made many improvements. They now have an outdoor patio area, retiled the former enclosed patio area. They improved the entrance, got a new sign and now have a great fish tank inside. The menu has also been revamped and I was so impressed with the food! It has always been good, but today the taste as well as presentation was great! Come and try their lunch specials. For under $ 10 you will have a great meal. We love the Pollo Cilantro and the Colorado Chili. It is definitely worth checking this place out!

$ 8.95 lunch. This comes with different soups or salads and a main course. I had seafood enchiladas. The squash soup was very good the seafood enchiladas were ok. My friend had chicken enchiladas and was very happy. Next time if tere is a next time I will look over the regular menu. The restaurant has been here for a long time and it has had a few owners. They are refurbishing the outside. It looks nice.
