The food was made wrong, made them aware of it the owner no less said he would not do anything just threw away the food 10.00 for nothing. There do not care about there customers at all if you don’t like it they could care less!!! Lost a regular forever!!!

This was my second visit here. My first was about two months ago and didn’t care too much for the food. I always like to give a place a second chance. The quesadilla was pretty bland. The Diablo salsa tasted like straight tomato paste(and had the texture) with a little spice mixed into the paste. The guacamole in the guacamole tostada has no flavor to it. Last time I had a mix of tacos and the meats were very flavorless. I don’t know what people are used to eating as far as Mexican food to give the food here high stars. In general the Mexican food in the DTC isn’t very good and this is on par with the other food. The best Mexican food in Denver is more towards central west Denver, not in the DTC. The best part of my meal was the queso.

LOVELOVELOVE this place! My husband and I have been going here for several years, and even had them cater a party one time. The tacos are simple and delicious — not overloaded with toppings that mask the flavor of the most important part — the protein! I like that they come with only one corn tortilla; some people complain that they should be served with two, but no one needs two corn torts with each taco. Plus, each meal comes with house made tortilla chips on the side, which are AMAZING and super addictive. Our favorite tacos are the chicken(both the tinga and regular), barbacoa, and pork adobada. I also really like the Mahi Mahi tacos. Lots of different salsas to choose from, and they can be kind of stingy with how much you get — but all you have to do is ask for more. They have other menu items and specials on certain days, but honestly all we have ever had are the tacos!

It was only OK. The barbacoa and steak tacos were nothing to write home about, but the chicken taco I had made up for that(unfortunately I ate that one first). I would maybe go back if I was in the area, but I wouldn’t drive across down for this place. The chashier was very friendly and the service quick though!

Yolanda’s is a great lunch spot! I have been here at least a half dozen times and it is always great. The space can get a little cramped but the staff is friendly and prompt. The tacos are always delicious and fresh and their salsas are all very good. I love the homemade chips and the al pastor tacos are very good.

The food is ok if you’re in a hurry and want something quick and not too pricey. The nachos seem to be a big hit and would say get those. If you do get tacos, I definitley recommend the Diablo salsa and GETQUESO for the chips. Their queso is the only thing that seperates them from anyother average taco joint The tacos are ok. A little bland. I’ve defintley had better(in CA).

Overall pretty good place. I had the Beef Barbacoa, Al Pastor and Camarones tacos. The Barbacoa taco was the best. I’d definitely get that again. The other two were decent but I probably would get it again. The chips and guacamole was also really good.

Blah… wish I could give a better review but the two tacos I tried were just BLAH… I got the Mahi Mahi which they secretly up charge you $ .50 a taco… I had to search where the up charge was on the menu, very small print with a asterisk. That alone was enough to turn me off to this place, sneaky way to do business. The Mahi was dry and over cooked, the slaw was not good and had way too much on it. The other taco was a pork adobada, the only reason for two stars. The meat was good but that was about it. The tacos only come with one corn tortilla, for the price it should come with two corn tortillas as most other taco joints do… I won’t be back the tacos are extremely over priced for what you get!

Watery, wet, bland. If you are from SoCal and looking for something familiar, pass. Still searching. Al Pastor was some kind of stringy pork with pineapple juice.

We love the Al Pastor tacos! We go on a regular basis to get them. We’ve both sampled other tacos(Mahi Mahi, Blue Crab) but anything seems bland compared to the Al Pastor tacos. Definitely a favorite.

Can’t say enough good things about this place. My coworkers and I frequent this place for lunch because they are the best, most authentic tacos you can get in the Tech Center. Salsa is always fresh and options are plentiful. When it came time for my department to bring in lunch for our monthly company-wide meeting, we chose Yolanda’s and they were an absolute pleasure to work with. Food was ready on time(150 tacos worth) and the staff were friendly and helpful. The response from the office was the best it could be. Everyone absolutely loved the food and we were asked constantly where it came from. Such a positive experience overall. Thank you, Yolanda’s!

Coming from California I was apprehensive about this place. because you know what can beat cali mexican food. But this place surprised me. My coworkers were ordering this for lunch and since I had nothing to eat I decided to get two tacos. I inhaled the chicken tinga taco considering I had like two min to eat it and it was great. I could tell there were a lot of flavors in there I wish I had more time to eat it. I also got the cecina taco which sadly was not as good. this also could be due to the fact that it was sitting out for a while. My biggest complaint was that the taco lacked other fixings the I normally like in my taco like guac and cheese. But if I had more time to look at the menu I’m sure I could have added it. I want to go back to this place so I can enjoy the experience more.

I ordered some tacos to go because Yolanda’s was conveniently located next to my hotel, and I’m so glad it was! It reminds me of some local taco joints back in Nashville but with a bigger selection of tacos. Out of my chicken, beef, and pork tacos, my favorite had to have been the pork that was flavored with pineapple. Everything was delicious, including their homemade tortilla chips and queso. The prices were also reasonable!

Ditch Taco Bell or Del Taco, this place captures the ensence of mexican street tacos. Their chicken and pork are excellent paired with their medium salsa. Just avoid peek lunch hours as this place gets very crowded.

I’ve been here a couple of times for lunch. Their lines always move relatively fast. Their menu is easy to read. Pick your meat and the platform the meat is delivered. Good to go. Both times I’ve ordered the taco salad. It’s been great both times. The shell is crispy and not greasy. There are a good amount of non-lettuce goodies in there like cheese and beans. I always go for the pork. It’s very tender and flavorful. They don’t put a few pieces in the middle, it’s pretty evenly distributed throughout the salad so you don’t have to worry about getting a bite full of only lettuce and cheese. I’ll definitely keep this place in the lunch rotation.

I came here with a nacho craving and decided to give their chicken nachos a try. I liked the nachos enough that I’ve been back a few times and haven’t been able to convince myself to try anything else. The nachos consist of thick chips capable of supporting the mountain of beans, white queso, pico, and shredded chicken that get piled on top. Once the queso and beans start to run together and mix with the shredded chicken… I’m gonna start drooling like Homer Simpson here… Suffice to say, it’s good stuff. The nachos are large enough to fully satisfy this serious eater at a reasonable price. I still need to give their tacos a try. Atmosphere is fun and casual. Bright paint lines the walls and a few TVs are often seen broadcasting soccer in Spanish.

Horrible service!!! Went in last week the lady(young girl) in the front was doing her nails and didn’t notice I was standing there for a pretty long time. I asked her what she recommended me and she just pointed at the menu and said«the menu is right there» she didn’t smile at all. Really disappointing…

Yolanda’s II has good tacos! They are your typical fast Mexican fare for a quick bite or to bring back to the office. We’ve been twice now with several orders for takeout for people in the office and everyone has enjoyed their meals. I will say that its definitely not the fantastic, authentic tacos you’ll find at a traditional taco shop or truck, the meat lacks any very significant flavor but the salsa mostly makes up for it. The tortillas and beans and rice definitely are not home made but come straight from packages and cans. They do only give you one corn tortilla for a taco, which does fall apart really easily. Their queso is pretty good and their chips are fried freshly. I would ask for more salsa if you’re taking it to go. The owners have been present both times I have picked up food, they’re professional but not overly polite– the rest of the employees I’ve encountered are all very nice. Also they aren’t exactly very cheap, almost $ 4 for one little corn tortilla taco and $ 8 for 3, not bad but not cheap for the taste and portion. If I spend more than $ 10 on just myself for 3 small tacos and a tiny-really tiny– side of beans and rice, you’re not that cheap and I might as well spend an extra buck or two getting 3 Margaritas and a much bigger, more flavorful portion of food. All in all, its decent but I won’t go out of my way to eat here or tell everyone about it.
