M4 Roofing and Gutters

I wouldn’t use M4 again if they paid me to put a new roof on my home. Most importantly, they failed inspection 3 times. Once because they failed to leave a ladder for the city, but the other two were due to incorrect/​poor installation (a quote directly from the city inspector I met when he came out). It got so bad they had to send their «quality control» guy out to finish up and fix the mistakes by previous crews. I work nights so it was very important to me that M4 communicated when crews would show up to do the work so that I could arrange sleeping around it. Not once did I ever get contacted ahead of time and on occasions when I did expect a crew to show up, they would no show. Then, out of the blue 3 days later they would suddenly show up with no warning. Also judging by the amount of nails (and other metallic objects NOT left by M4) that I picked up after the job was finally done, I don’t believe they ever ran over my property with a magnet like they promised they would.
To summarize:
— Failed inspection due to incorrect/​poor installation
— Horrible customer service
— Completely no communication with me
— Failed to complete tasks they said they would complete as part of the work.
Again, I wouldn’t let M4 put a new roof on my house IF THEY PAID ME to do it. If you’re reading this, I would strongly urge you to find another company to do business with.

M4 Roofing is a decent, reputable company. They installed a new roof for me following hail damage. They have good customer service and are very responsive to the customer. I did get some complaints from the insurance company about trying to get more money out of them, although it was nice that M4 handled the claim and negotiated with them for me. Good guys, quality was fine, no issues on my end.

They seemed helpful and nice until i signed the contract, then unresponsive. They didnt return at all for additional follow up work despite their promises to follow through.

Slimey. The salesmen are pushy and not knowledgable. Don’t trust or go with them. They have a really sketchy contract to sign before any work begins which basically gives them the full payment BEFOREHAND.
BTW, why is one of the reviews by someone in Nebraska?

This company rocks! Very professional and does a great job. Very kind and helpful as well.

Can’t say enough good things about this company who replaced my roof in 2012.
They were punctual, neat and installed a beautiful roof on our house.
They were also VERY helpful with the insurance claim process.

m4 installed my roof in 2012. It failed inspection in Oct 2012, Jan 2013 and Mar 2013.
still waiting for a good inspection. Have requested owner to calll me. No call yet
