Good Mexican food. My last visit I had the beef taco and carne asada taco. Carne asada taco was pretty good and it is a good size. It was filling, more so then I expected. The beef taco was pretty good. It is an old school hard shell beef taco with all the toppings. I actually preferred it over the carne asada taco. Service was good. Plenty of parking. The green salsa has nice kick to it if you use a lot of it. Old school cash and carry.

Hole in the wall, hit this spot after hitting balls at Hodges range… Lots of locals. Had the chicken salad burrito– which is totally why I only gave 3 stars. Who the hell orders a chicken salad burrito at a taco shop? My partner in crime and in golf got a machaca burrito. I stole meat from his when he wasn’t looking. I generally hate lettuce and tomato in my burritos… But this was all my fault. The burrito was actually really good, chicken was super flavorful and tender. I generally don’t order chicken in any taco shop for fear of chicken fat or cartilage. This chicken was really good. The shredded beef in the machaca was also amazing. Next time I will be doing something appropriately scandalous, like carne asada chips or my favorite carnitas burrito. I bet they also serve a mean bean and cheese for hangover days. Their salsa was beautiful… Carrots too.

Always been my go to taco shop. The carne Asada fries are amazing! It’s always the hardest decision what to get because everything is so delicious. We usually end up getting a bunch of things and splitting them!

I’ve been to a lot of Mexican places up and down California, but nothing has compared to the single dish of abodaba I had here at Chito’s. This single dish bested every other shred of Mexican food I’ve ever had. I can’t speak to anything else really, because I haven’t had anything else here… but that meal is something I’ll always remember. I can’t recommend this place enough based on this amazing meal I had. They also have a wide variety of amazing drinks, I believe I got one that was based on pineapple. I’ve never had it before, but it was also really great.

Legendary. A second home to many of us. All of the people giving 1 star reviews are misguided, lost souls. This is not your average basic bitch taco shop. There are like, 20 Rubio’s /Chipotles scattered throughout town if you’re looking for that sort of thing. I’ve been eating here since 2004, and can assure you the following have remained constant: — price to quantity of food ratio is phenomenal (cheap burritos that will feed your whole family) — orders are processed quickly (food isn’t made until you order it) — everything on the menu is dank as FUCK I hope you decide to look past the negative, hateful comments some of these people have left about Chito’s. It’s a sacred place, and deserves to be treated as such. Do yourself a favor, and come here when you’re really, really hungry. You can thank me later.

I guess its a high demand lil taco shop. I got hung up during my phone order. Hahaha First Impression is always based on perception. Maybe she was the only employee. Lets see now the food quality to this lil taco shop.

Worst taco shop I have ever eaten at, the meat was flavorless and the tortilla was burnt. And they only accept cash.. it’s the year 2016 people, not 1970!

We love this little taco place. It’s close to where we live and it’s our ‘go to’ for lunches and dinners. The food is fresh, tasty and the service is friendly and fast. You can’t beat the prices for the quality. Yum!

Chito’s is definitely one of the better taco shops near RB area. You can call in your order if you do not wish to wait.

I’ve been going here for years and have never been disappointed with any of the food. All the employees are friendly and personable, greatly enhancing the experience. The dining area is always clean with available seating(outdoor seats are available as well). My only complaint is that they can get pretty packed around lunch and dinner time, and can have you waiting in line for up to 20 minutes(I highly recommend calling in your order so it’s fresh and ready for you when you arrive to pay and pick it up). They also take cash only, but have an ATM inside the store. My favorites are the shrimp and California burritos, the Carne Asada fries, and the 2 fish taco plate special. Highly recommend for a great go-to Mexican restaurant!

Great place to grab a breakfast burrito. So good! But call in your order ahead of time so you don’t have to wait for it. The breakfast burritos are huge!!! Enough for 2.

We love Chitos! We live in north RB, so its a quick drive over. We used to just get a carne asada burrito and carne asada fries, until we discovered the quesadilla surpreme! Delicious! Their tortilla(not sure if its their own or not) is amazing. We usually get an order of carne asada fries and an order of the quesadilla surpreme. We never end up finishing it and have leftovers for another meal. Comes out to about $ 11 – 12 total. CASHONLY! The carne asada fries has guac, nacho cheese, larger fries(not as big as steak cut, but not mcdonalds size either), sour cream, and the carne asada. Quesadilla supreme is 2LARGE quesadillas filled with lettuce, tomatoes, sour cream, guac, and carne asada(i think thats all…). Like I said, DELICIOUS. You can get red or green salsa. The red is a little more mild, while the green is HOT… both very good! We will definitely be back to get more!

I don’t get the reviews that complain about service and/or time. WTF is the rush, I mean there’s a McD’s right next door. Geeesh! It’s cash only too… the horror. There’s a ATM right there next to the cashier for Pete’s sake. Lighten up, life could be worse than no debit/credit cards. Damn Millennials. Also seems some here want or expect Mexican food to be prepared their way. Go to Burger King. That said I ordered the three rolled tacos(beef) w/rice and beans. Mixed the r&b together along with a huge squirt of their hot green salsa which could be hotter. Delicious. The rolled tacos were crisp n’ tasty. I did forget to tell them I wanted the Mex guacamole instead of the American guacamole on top. Did I complain? No, it was my fault. Yep, Chito’s make a gringo version with just avocado & sour cream. The Mex version has onions, tomato and cilantro. Go figure. So Chito’s does try to accommodate the finicky eaters among us that want things their way. And yes, their Carnitas burrito is gorgeous as well.

Whenever I am craving carne asada, this is my go-to hole-in-the-wall restaurant! SOGOOD!!! I get the Carne Asada burrito every time! The people that work there are wonderful and friendly. They finish the food in a timely manner, too. I don’t usually dine in, because I am always doing take-out, and there aren’t that many tables to sit at. I just wish they would do credit/debit cards.

Wow! Is what I said when I saw my quesadilla supreme. Mmm! $ 5.40 and big enough to share. No music but the cook was singing it up enough lol! First time and I’ll be coming again!

Ordered rolled tacos(5 for $ 3.50) and the carne asada burrito. Both were delicious and came standard with guacamole so they obviously know what’s up! FYI Cash only…

Chito’s, back in the day, reigned as solid as they came for a taco joint. These day, quality has slipped, prices have gone up and salsas are poor. Conveniently located next to the mall makes for easy access but I certainly wouldn’t go out of my way for this place. Two stars

If I can give this place a –5 I would. First of all I am not a Unilocaler, second of all I don’t like to Unilocal negatively about our local restaurants since I am in the customer service business and our out of state customers are always asking for a good place to eat. Well one thing for sure I am never recommending this place nor will I ’ ever’ go there. The last time I went to chitos was about two years ago and decided to try them again, so I ordered a shrimp quesadilla,($ 6.50 plus tax) not only did they took for ever but that’s the least of my concerns because it was lunch time. Finally my order was ready I take my food and drive back to work once I’m in the parking lot of my job I open the bag… I was very disappointed there was a huge flower tortilla with 3 maybe 4 pieces of shrimp. Really I paid $ 7 for 3 pieces of shrimp in a huge flower tortilla ?? And not to mention the tortilla was full of Greece ;( not ok!!! I would be embarrassed to server this to the public! I wish I had time to drive back and talk to the manager so he can see what his cooks /workers are serving to his customers. Never going there nor will I ever send any of my customers there again.
