New 2 U Consignment & Gifts

SELLERS BEWARE!!!
Tim is all talk when it comes to sellers. He will hold on to your money for the longest time possible, and come up with all sorts of lame excuses as to why New 2 U will not timely pay. My favorite was that he had to run to the bank before cutting the check. If this was true, then this place is not financially solvent enough to cover a mere $ 200.
Tim also refuses to tell you when and the amount your item sells. When asked for proof of sale of our cabinet & hutch, his excuse was that he ran out of ink. We are still waiting for 3 months to receive our money have no confirmation that the amount owed to us is correct sum.
This opinion follows my wife and I contemplating taking store credit for another item in the store. Tim quoted us at least two different prices within two or three days. Very glad we didn’t get the chair because I am sure we would have over paid.
Bottom line is simple: New 2 U cannot be trusted.

ALERT! DO NOT consign you items here. My wife and I brought a couch, love seat, and armoire to consign to this place a year ago. We have the paperwork that he signed and emails that our items sold and he owes us $ 1000 dollars. After dozens of phone calls emails and letters we have not received a dime! He will not pay you. Unless your an attorney and want to go to court do not work with this guy. Anyone buying here is indirectly supporting a thief.

First time in here and I absolutely love this place! I’m so glad there’s a consignment furniture store so close to where I live. Everything was displayed nicely and the store was very well kept. There is so much to see inside! Furniture, clothes, and jewelry! Tim was so nice and knowledgeable. I got a table and a lamp all for $ 80! I couldn’t pass that deal up.
Great deals and bargains for anyone looking for furniture and clothes but don’t want to pay retail price!

What a Great place with Amazing bargains! Love coming here! Crystal and Tim are always so friendly and fun to chat with! There is always something new to see! So many of the clothes, shoes, purses and belts are high-​end… but not high-​end price!

If I could give a lower score I would. I consigned furniture with New 2 U, it sold in Jan, it is may and I still have not received my portion of the payment. I have called over 6 times each time being told it is in the mail. Other times I am told the manager is in the bathroom, or out of town”. CONSIGNORS BEWARE, DO NOT CONSIGN HERE. I am now having to pursue other options in order to receive my payment.
