It was a little while before I discovered his place, but I’m so glad I did! The tortas are absolutely scrumptious! It’s difficult finding a good quality torta and Que Torta knows what’s up. The tortas a big and everything tastes fresh. The service is great too! Everyone is super friendly. Definitely check it out!

Love this place! I usually get the orange, beet, and carrot juice and it never fails me however the other juices are also great. The fruit is always fresh and I’ve never experienced any bad food or experience here. The lines during lunch can get long so prepare to wait for your food.

Went to this place yesterday. Definitely a Mexican version of subway but with better food. They have great fruit salads with so many types of fruit. Definitely not your average fruit salad topped with coconut, cottage cheese and granola. They have sandwiches on warm and soft torta bread. The sandwiches have a chipotle aioli. They also have smoothies. Any kind of smoothie combination you could want. Do not be in a rush. Everything is fresh and handmade to order. So it’s a little slow. It’s a cultural experience. I felt like I was in a sandwich shop in Mexico. I recommend going here if you are in the area.

Love this place. Can’t understand why it’s so hard to find a great torta in Esco. Everyone always says that one place is better then the other… all I seem to find is soggy bread. Growing up in National City and constantly traveling across the border to visit family, I am no stranger to a quality made torta. Que torta does it right and I’m glad I finally found a place in North County close to home that can hit the spot when I’m fiending for a great tasting torta.

This is a great place to eat the tortas are very good. Love the bread! Haven’t tried the full menu just a couple different types of tortas and a watermelon agua fresca. I have to agree with about every other review here that the wait times are too long. Whenever I eat here I always have call in otherwise it’s a 15 minute minumum wait regardless of how many people are in there(probably from all the other phone orders), which is why I can’t give them 5 stars.

Was just there to get a smoothie that was awful! In fact I threw it out after three sips and wait was to long.

Good but not great… the wait is too long and it’s a bit over priced. I walked into a place called ques tortas and got a sandwich I could probably have gotten from subway… but it took them 20 mins to make that sandwich. If you’re on a lunch break, this is not the place… the wait is too long, seriously.

This place is awesome. Food is fresh and their tortas are to die for. Their Que Torta is amazing. Will definitely go to this place more often.

My experience was great! My torta was fresh and tasty, with just the right amount of spice. I will definitely go back. I ordered a fruit & veggie pressed juice also. Sooo refreshing :) staff was very pleasant and helpful too.

Que Tortas is great. The tortas are really good – flavorful, spicy with fresh and crispy baked bread. The fruit salad is always a good snack. The smoothies, juices and agua frescas hit the spot on a hot day. The only thing that makes me give this place a 3 is the wait times. You most definitely should call in your order ahead of time. Otherwise expect to sit for a good 15 – 20 minutes to wait for your food.

This review is for the single acai bowl! The small portion is fantastic if you find the regular bowl too big. I think the single acai is the perfect portion and they are sooooo good! Ingredients are very fresh, it comes with bananas, strawberries, granola, coconut, and honey. And it’s only $ 2.99!!! Better than getting a single scoop of ice cream :)

I had a torta up in the bay area last week, and it reminded of the time I came to this place, and I really miss Que Torta, Fruit bowls are on point here, and prices are very reasonable. Love that they put big slices of avocados in the tortas. If you’re in the area, definitely check this place out. It might be a good thing that I live so far away, otherwise I’d get sick of eating tortas all the time. Sometimes, they have a problem with overcooking the torta, but otherwise, I think this place is pretty good

Holy CRAPOLI… this is a delicious torta! I got the turkey torta with extra chipotle sauce… And it was amazeballs !! It was warm & toasty with jalepenos, mayo, cheese, avocado, lettuce, onions & tomatoes. It was absolute perfection. Must try!

As the name suggests, they specialize in torta here(Mexican sandwich for those who don’t know). I ordered the most expensive torta here, which is called«Que torta» and it cost me $ 7.85. In my opinion, it’s not really worth it. It comes with 3 kinds of meat but it’s not a lot. It tasted good but I felt like Subway was a better deal. I then ordered the large«Yogurt with fruit.» It cost me $ 6.50. This one tasted incredible but again, portion size wasn’t that great considering the price. I like the fruits that was in it such as coconut, apples, and strawberries. I also tasted a sample of chocolate in it. This is a great dessert but it’s just too pricey If prices were a little better, I’d be a regular customer

I love this place, everything from the Tortas to the fruit salads are delicious but they really need to stop raising the prices on the Tortas. 7 something is a little pricey, especially if you want a drink on the side that’s like another $ 4. I probably won’t be coming as much as I used to… oh and the wait times are ridiculous! Always call in your order ahead of time unless your a very patient person.

HUGETORTAS! I was visiting for a robotics competition and ended up going to the shopping center randomly. Awesome accident! I order my torta expecting just a regular thing… DUDE, these things are MASSIVE! HALF of my torta was almost the size of my hand! That’s HUGE! I got the salmon, and it was really fresh. It was super simply made, but really tasty. If we have a competition in this area again, I am definitely visiting again. Worth every penny.

QUETORTA… QUELOCA! I expected so much more and you’ve let me down! This is nothing more than a Gabacho’s attempt at Mexican Food San Diego style, I really don’t get all the 4&5 Star reviews other than they must be clueless to what a true Mexican torta is. Meats offered: Pork Loin, Turkey, Ham, Chicken, Tuna, Salmon, Queso Panela… other than HAM the rest are not your typical offerings! don’t come if you want Carne Asada, Al Pastor, Carnitas etc… Que Torta is also a perfect example of how Bigger is not always better Typically a torta is made with Telera roll where que torta uses a Giant Bolillo, the bolillo had a nice crunch and good taste but it’s like 80% bread to 20% toppings. Pork Loin Torta — A couple thin slices of nice lean Pork which tasted very good, but the ingredient ratio is just way off to me it needed more meat and less bread would make this much better. 2.5-Stars
