The best Toco place in SW FL… Get the California Burrito… and the red hot sauce is liquid gold!

As many others who did that wrote reviews, we circled the parking lot a few times before realizing it was IN the gas station.
Needless to say… staff was friendly, food was fresh/​authentic, and very reasonably priced.
I had the chicken tacos and hubs enjoyed a steak burrito. Both had lots of meat and left us fat and happy! Arguably the BEST tacos/​burritos we’ve had!

the only reason I’m giving 4 stars, is that it drives me nuts when someone who speaks the language can order something that I can’t because I have no idea what it is or if it’s on the menu — but it sure looked great! some kind of soup with add ins — I have no idea …

Yes, it’s in a gas station, and yes, it’s amazing. Very friendly staff, great tacos. The gas station does sell Mexican Coke. Highly recommend this place!

Great little secret and very affordable!!! The place is actually inside the gas station… we realized this after rounding the building a few times. Very clean and the staff is awesome!

Naturally, as a guy, I only look at the average rating and photos many times before deciding on a place to eat, so I was scratching my head when I could not locate the restaurant. I then stopped at the gas station to ask for directions only to find it in there. The wifey then read reviews that pretty much all mentioned it being in the gas station, so I got laughed at which was well deserved.
They served excellent Mexican food. We got the nacho grande, cheese quesadilla (the baby loved this), chicken taco and tostada. The horchata was massive and delicious. Everything was the highlight of the meals even though that makes absolutely no sense. We will definitely stop here next time we are in the area. It is also conveniently located near the Miromar outlets.

The hubby found this place through Unilocal but we completely missed the reviews stating that it’s in a gas station. Fortunately he went in the station to ask where it was and he saw it.
Fantastic Mexican food! We got the nacho grande, cheese quesadilla (for the baby), chicken taco and tostada. All were excellent. I especially loved the nachos with its crispy tortilla chips and how it was drenched in cheese, sour cream, beans, etc. The baby loved her quesadilla too.
The hubby and I also ordered two horchatas which was yummy and complemented our lunch perfectly. For fast food, authentic Mexican fare and an inexpensive meal, this place is it!

BEST BURRITOS EVER! It may be in a gas station but they are so authentic and delicious! Loveeeee this place, we wish there was one in Miami Beach!!!

The only reason it is not getting 5 stars is that the cash register was broken and it took a while to pay. Great food for $.

Ha Ha, we thought this little place was our secret, but judging from all the reviews I can see it’s not! Way better than you would think and I’d highly recommend their breakfast burrito.

Fantastic food! In a gas station! Say what?! Our family was a little weary of this taco joint because of its location. We circled the gas station looking for what I thought was going to be a taco truck. Oh no, this place is INSIDE the gas station! But based on its gleaming Unilocal reviews we went ahead anyway. The cases in the gas station and paid the attendant up front. There are about 5 picnic type tables in the back and that’s where we dug in!
My vegetarian kids and my vegan self got the taco salad with dairy on the side (my Dad wound up using it). It was huge! $ 6.99 for homemade chips layered with lettuce, pico, and beans.
The table shared guac and chips which was so chunky and fresh with tons of color. It was about $ 5 and came with those crisp, flaky tortilla chips and in a tortilla shell!
We tried the veggie burrito which was also around $ 5/​$ 6 and filled with the most delicious grilled veggies and some rice. The kind you get in fajitas. Sooooo delicious! It wasn’t completely smothered in cheese either. Everyone tasted it and loved it! A tad spicy for the littles. I think there was some jalapeño.
My parents got the (Tuesday) special of the day which was beef tacos. 6 for $ 6!!! They said the meat was so flavorful. They were so happy they will be living down the street for the next two months. They said it was better than their go-​to Mexican spot at home.
While in Estero, it’s a must! Yum!

After convincing my husband he was going to be ok if we ate from a place inside a gas station, we descended upon this place. 12 steak tacos later (yes we had seconds) and a nacho supreme (skip next time), we are full, surprised and very satisfied.

I opted my food to go vs eating in the small section in the gas station. Food had great flavor and saw the chicken being prepared fresh. The red sauce has a pretty good bite to it but is the best sauce I’ve ever had to compliment my meal.

May be in a gas station but great food. I am from Texas and have been eating Mexican food for 50 yrs. Just visiting area and Unilocaled Mexican food and found them. They were in my area. On way to very nice dog park off Corkscrew and stopped in. Now I am a regular for their huge Breakfast Burrito. Their Salsa Verde is exceptional. Nice people. Looks like a clean kitchen– I used to own an Italian Restaurant so I check these things-​peek around the corner.

Best Breakfast Burrito I’ve ever had. I come here at least once a week. Taco Tuesday’s is also a good deal. 2 tacos for $ 1.50!

My grandparents live in Estero and recommended this place to us. The food is extremely fresh and tasty! The Nachos and taquitos were both excellent! The service was extremely friendly and we will definitely be coming back!

Taco Vazquez is a taco stand with a few seats inside a gas station on 41, just south of Corkscrew. What a great, authentic joint. Everything is fresh and delicious and made to order (make sure, when dining, that you have a few minutes to wait). Tacos are $.99 and other menu items are similarly aggressively priced. The staff is friendly and their red hot sauce is so hot and tasty it is a reason in itself to visit. There are a few tables, but take-​away is my usual program.

What a great value. They have daily specials and also serve breakfast, which I am looking forward to trying. We got the 8 hard tacos for 5.99 and cheese enchiladas, along with delicious refried beans and rice. The food was very good. I was surprised at the length of the wait, considering I was the only one there. But I was in no rush so I made myself comfortable and waited patiently. Everything was piping hot and fresh.
