Carniceria Mi Tierra

This is a little Mexican meat market that also sells Mexican bread and groceries. It’s right next to Taqueria Mi Tierra, which is owned by the same people and serves good authentic Mexican food.
My parents (both Mexican) have been looking for good Mexican bread in Eugene and have always been disappointed until we tried it here. The «conchitas» are very good, and the fruit or cream filled pastries are excellent. I almost forgot to mention the «orejas» or palmiers – flaky and delicious! Their «bolillos» were a little disappointing, but everything else we’ve tried is very good.
This past 4^th of July, we bought some prepared seasoned beef for «carne asada» and seasoned chicken to grill, and they were both very tasty. I will be going there often and hope they stay in business!
