Great quilt shop! They obviosly specialize in Modern fabrics, and they do it well! Great batik area as well, and I’ll probably kick myself later for putting that one beautiful bolt down.
Little parkling lot for customers, which is awesome in that area.

As a quilting newbie I am thrilled to have Piece by Piece as my local quilt shop. The store is stocked with gorgeous fabric for making modern quilts. The staff are helpful and always willing to help with any question,

Simply put, modern, hip and cute fabrics. The best that Eugene has to offer. If you aren’t inspired after going into this store, you aren’t a sewer (at least in cottons!). Beautiful, no frumpy calicos in sight.

I’m on the hunt for fresh, fun, funky, girly, contemporary, mature fabric for nursery curtains and apparently that’s a tall order to fill. While I didn’t find my fabric at Piece by Piece, I can highly recommend this shop as being on par or if not better than the selections at much larger shops in Portland. After not finding exactly what I was looking for at Piece by Piece, I went to 4 shops in PDX and was disappointed. Per square foot, Piece by Piece has the hippest cotton fabric selections around. Granted, they only carry cottons as far as I can tell, but their offerings are stellar and nicely arranged by color to make shopping easy. The owner is very helpful and willing to go the extra mile, even if it means sending you elsewhere on your hunt.

I love this place. I had never quilted before and this was the store that got me started. I love the rotating themes of fabric that come through and I always leave inspired to do another project (with the yards I just bought…).
