I ordered my wedding cake here, and when we went to our cake tasting I Specifically Asked Her To Have A Butter Cream finish And no Fondant At All On the cake, I even Sent Her A picture Of What I Want THE Cake To Look Like… when the cake arrived at the wedding it looked nothing like what I asked her to do and the finish was fondant all over… I wish I could download the pictures on here to show the huge difference In the cakes… Horrible. the lady was very nice but she did not do what I asked her to… VERYDISSAPOINTED

Gallery online looks great, display cakes inside look great. Can’t say anything about their cupcakes, but the white cake we got for my grandmothers 80th birthday looks horrible. «My 80-year-old grandma could do better» doesn’t even begin to cover it. Taste is the only redeemable quality about this cake. They up-charged us for a fondant cake, but it was made with buttercream; they claimed the fondant they charged us for was the PRE-MADE flowers that were glued on with icing. I’ve seen better edging at the 4H fair. After emailing a picture and them agreeing to do it LIKETHEPICTURE, it actually looks NOTHING like the picture. I hope others have had better cakes, and maybe it was just one of the employees that made a poor cake. Either way, we will make our own cakes before we will ever go back to Pinch of Sugar.

Dianne, was great in helping me pick out the perfect cake for my 90 year old Mom’s birthday. She was able to add Mom’s photo on top of the John Deer tractor she created for the very tasty crème brulee flavored cake and frosting. It was a real hit by all.

This still is my favorite cupcake place in Evansville, but I probably won’t come here very often anymore. The quality has become inconsistent(probably due to a boom in their popularity) and I honestly can’t tell whether I’m going to like even old favorites when I first bite into them because of this. It’s such a shame because we used to come here three times a week but we’ve only been here once this month to buy cupcakes for a party, after tasting some of them before putting them out I was sure they were fine but I was so embarrassed after trying another and another to find that the quality varied from one cupcake to the next. I will say a few nice things though. The do have a super light hand with the butter cream frosting unlike other places in Evansville, at Pinch of Sugar it’s not greasy and it’s got a nice flavor. And the staff is always super friendly, also the baklava is better than every Greek place I’ve been to in Evansville. Sadly I just don’t have any more money to invest in dud cupcakes.
