Hanging out with my girls from Guam we accidentally found this Chamorro filipino restaurant in Everette and we were ecstatic! It’s been a while since we had all these selections of Guam food and this place was just exceptional! Hits the spot. The service was amazing. The waiter was friendly and he basically gave us everything. I swear we ordered like almost every Chamorro dish in the menu. Chicken kelaguen, red rice, empanada, karagi, lumpia, marinated BBQ chicken, rib. Cucumber daigo, shrimp party’s. We had the famous King Car, Assam milk tea and Bud Light. Beer of the islands. Everything was great. Love love love this place, the owners are so friendly. I told him we should be friends so we can get invited to his BBQ’s cause his Chamorro food was excellente. I’m definitely coming back when I’m in Seattle. support this place. It’s good! Ps. The cucumber daigo dish. Addictive!

Talk about going Home! If you could fly home through food, this place is the plane! Really sad the place was empty because the food was great! I had the Island Sampler — kelaguen wrap, bbq kabob, bbq short rib, karaage chicken, shrimp patties, red rice and lumpia! It’s like a fiesta plate! Great portions and food that makes you wanna find out when the kids birthdays are so you can come over for the fiesta! Chris was great and he made me feel like we were chillin at someone’s house with bbq and bud light! His son did a great job keeping up with our orders Cuz we just could not get enough!!! Would definitely recommend this place for those wanting a taste of home!

Ordered pancit and lumpia to go. Was warm, tasty, filling, and just about everything I expected. I will be going back to this place in the future when I have the urge for Filipino food. Good job!

Great portion, great flavor, great food experience overall. I lived on Guam for 10 years, so it was great finding some traditional food. On the other hand, the restaurant was filthy. Bathrooms look like they’ve never been cleaned, the whole place was sloppy. I actually felt bad that the place was empty, but I understand why. Id suggest take out, I just hope the kitchen is cleaner then the rest of the place. :/

Bought halo halo 2 days ago:(doesn’t even taste halo halo. There’s only nata de coco and taste like regular milk not evaporated milk. No ube or leche flan. I pay for almost $ 5 dollars for milk drink w/a pinch of sugar.

Wow! Filipino food the right way! I went from living close to my titas and my Lola, to living on my own, and I can’t tell you how I miss the food. This place is delicious and comforting! I wish I found out about it sooner! The pansit is so good with all its flavor and textures. The lumpia is amazing. We never had red rice in my house but it goes perfect with the shishkabob! I love this place, and will come often! Feels like home. I came in last Sunday with my boyfriend at 6:30(closes at 7 on Sunday). They were happy to seat us, and we were not the last ones in. I can’t believe we each got plates for dinner for a total of $ 21! So good. I am more than happy! Today, I got a one item from the Steam Table Dishes. I chose monggo which comes with rice and soup. Can I just say YUM! Oh and a large sinigang. Mmmmm, just like home! This will definitely be my new go to place for takeout!

Summary: all their food is the wrong temperature. I wanted to like this place, but their steam table heats food to a danger-zone lukewarm temp, while the halo halo is delivered to your table pre-melted, except for the occasional big chunk of ice. Nice people, and the food might be OK if it were served at a safe temp, but it’s not. When I mentioned this, they didn’t seem inclined to fix it. Avoid.

Finally got to have some home food, it’s probably one of the only Guam restaurants around the area.

Wow haven’t had Filipino food this good since my friends mom cooked it for me! We got mixed plate and the chamaole’pino plate and there wasn’t a single thing we didn’t love! Very kind and attentive service! If you get a chance to support this business, do it!

Delicious Pilipino and Guam dishes. Pilipino pancit closely resembles the Pilipino pancit my family makes. Tocino is yummy along with the bangus fish dish. Beautiful Pilipino and Guam flags and decors inside. Staff are quick and friendly. Great place to chill with friends and family.

If you don’t know what Chamorro food is, or are just plain lazy in making your own, head here. I live in Redmond and made a special trip to try their food(they appear to be the only Chamorro food serving restaurant in all Seattle) and was largely underwhelmed. It was nice just tasting some of the traditional Guam dishes and the folks are super nice, but I’ve had/can make much better kelaguen, red rice, potato salad and lumpia which to me are the foundations of the fiesta plates(I make the dishes 1 to 2 times a year to give you an idea). Everything was drier than it should’ve been :( A big plus is they apparently make food to cater and make stuff not on the menu like Ahu, BUT — they don’t answer phones or emails. After 5 days of calling BOTH their phone numbers and sending emails without a response, I’ve given up, because I’m not driving 30 – 45 min through traffic to do something I can do over a phone. I’ll be ordering food for my party from Filipino and Hawaiian restaurants in the area and am just going to take time off with some cousins and make the Chamorro specific food ourselves. Summary: Good idea, terrible execution. To put it bluntly, management of this business needs to really step up in handling their public facing outlets(Facebook, email, phone), and the cooks need to perfect their dishes otherwise they will forced to close shop eventually or at best, serve the same handful of die-hard patrons everyday. The only thing really going for them is that there is no competition right now. Maybe a few months from now I may pop in for a bite if I’m in the area, mostly out of curiosity to see if they’ve improved. Good luck guys I sincerely hope you succeed.

I decided to check out this place for lunch since it was around the corner from work. I have see a couple of my friends really like this place so I figured I’d try it, as my first time here I got the Mix Plate which was a good opportunity to get a taste of everything. Especially when it’s a combo of Chamorro and Filipino food. The mix plate usually comes with red rice, lumpia(Filipino egg roll), shrimp patty, pancit, kelaguen, bbq kabob, bbq short rib, and bbq chicken. At the moment they didn’t have the red rice ready so they offered me garlic fried rice in replacement. The people here are very friendly and helpful in selecting my first dish here. So lets break down the Mix Plate by each item I have tasted. Mind you everything I ate was very tasty and definitely would come back again. First the bbq kabob was on point very tasty and tender. Then there was the bbq short rib which was also tasty but very chewy and the meat was tough. I personally blame the meat vendor for the poor quality in meat and not the restaurant — hopefully they can find a better vendor for the short ribs. Next was the bbq chicken, again very tasty but the cook time on one side was too long making it tough to chew through at moments. The shrimp patty was also on point and very delicious and same goes for the pancit and the garlic fried rice. Then last was the Kelaguen, which I normally don’t finish because of the pickled taste but this was very mild and ended up finishing it. For now I will give this place a 4 star just because of the minor details in the dish. I will come back and try the traditional Filipino food next time I come in. Happy Eats everyone!

My husband and I have been here a few times now and the food tastes great. It’s a family run restaurant and everyone is really nice. If you are looking for that Family Joint to make your usual spot this is definitely the place! They are located in the shopping center with the new Urgent Care Clinic on the corner of 7th Street and Everett Mall Way.

A friend suggested we try this place out, and since there are not a lot of «filipino» cuisine in the area I went for it. When we first walked in it seemed nice enough, colorful island décor and music. We sat down at a booth and a girl comes from the back area. She explained that we can order off the menu or ready to serve hot section. So we got up and checked out the food and grabbed the menus ourselves. This place is confusing on how they approached us and went about serving. I mean they were super nice, just arent in the swing of things yet when it comes to service. The whole time we ate they didnt bother to see if everything was good or need anything. Our waters ran out and never got refilled. We had left overs and waited for someone to come around so we could get a box but the daughter was watching the t. v above our heads. Well we were done so I brought the plate of food up to the register and asked for the check and a box and boxed it right there. Weird… The food is ok. Nothing amazing but nothing bad. Like other Unilocalers my moms cooking is best but i would come here if I felt too lazy to make it myself.

I was on my way to Target and saw the sign for this place. I was so excited to try them out, and so was my bf! I’m Chamorro, and the bf is an «honorary Chamorro» and huge fan of the food, so we went there with high expectations(it’s tough to beat mom and dad’s cooking, lets be real). I think we had what they call the Fiesta or Guam plate, it had the most choices. The short ribs, longaniza, and shrimp patties were AWESOME. they had barbecued chicken, also great. This plate also came with kelaguen wraps, and pretty good! My dad’s is still the best though(yes, I’m probably biased but I’m ok with that). The red rice was just ok, could use more achiote and onion, and was a little mushy. Something I forgot to mention, the rice soup is SOGOOD. Better than Shirley’s in Guam! We will be back to support, next on my list to try is their tatijas and tiniktat. :):)

If you’re craving some flavors from home and if by «home,» you mean Guam, then make your way to Chamaole’Pino. You can have your tastes of Chamorro style fiesta food favorites like red rice, BBQ, potato salad, shrimp patties, chicken kelaguen and finadene. And you can wash it all down with some King Car iced tea, too. There are some other favorites on the menu reflecting the multicultural tastes from Guam including some filipino dishes. I really enjoyed the«Jumbo Lumpia» which is prepared in a very similar fashion to what you would get at Liengs at Hafa Adai Exchange. I don’t think they had the right noodles, but it was good enough. The sauce that went with the lumpia was delicious! I think they could also improve it by having fresher romaine lettuce, or putting it on the side or with a different presentation so that the lettuce doesn’t wilt from the heat of the deep fried goodness that is the lumpia. I’m actually giving this place 3.5 stars because I think they have a good start and I’m hoping they will work out all the usual things a new restaurant needs to do to get it going. The chef/owner is really friendly and earnest to make this place a success. The wait staff were all really nice, too. I’ll probably make my way up there a few more times so I hope i can update this review to more stars. So Guam friends — go up there and support a local business and restaurant and bring some friends who are new to Guam foods to give it a try. For those just looking to try this place, don’t be shy. I would definitely order the jumbo lumpia and try some kelaguen with some finadene.

This is a family run business that serves Chamorroan and Filipino food. The Filipino food is served from a steam table and the entrees rotate on a daily basis. My husband ended up getting the combo with 2 entrees. It comes with steamed rice and he chose the pork sinigang and kare kare for the entrees. He also ordered the pancit. He liked his meal. I ended up getting the Guam plate which consisted of red rice, bbq short ribs, potato salad, 2 shrimp patties and chicken kelaguen. Everything was tasty. I would recommend getting this plate to anyone. As a matter of fact, it seemed like a lot of the customers ordered this when we were there. We also ordered the jumbo lumpia. I wondered why they called it «jumbo». They were basically huge sized lumpiang shanghai. It was a little bland but was good with the sauce. They had island music playing in the background which was nice and relaxing and also had a tv playing but did not have TFC on. There was an empty refrigerated showcase, so I am assuming that they will be offering desserts in the future. Service was great and the staff were friendly. The chef came out and asked how everything was and thanked us for coming in. It’s a nice place to grab a bite to eat. For now, I will give this place 3.5 stars. I will be back to check out what else they have to offer whenever I am in the area. 20⁄30

The restaurant was cold which is a non-starter for me because I like to be warm and cozy when going out for dinner. Everyone was wearing a coat except me and I didn’t bring one. I had the guam plate. The short ribs were excellent. The rice was boring and since this is a significant part of the meal it would be a big improvement if they could spice it up. The service was great and the staff very friendly and eager to please. I hope they read this review because I like nice people to succeed. This is a new restaurant and I will probably try it again in a few months to see if they get it figured out.
