I recently was able to attend my first professional lacrosse game and I must say I loved the action on the field! It is a very fast moving game with quick reflexes being the key. What I didn’t appreciate was the way that the Stealth management has marketed the sport not as a sport but rather as entertainment. Rather poor quality music is blasted during the entire game along with a shill for the organization doing what he can to have the fans get worked up. The combination is an assault on your senses for 2 hours that frankly, I can do without. So, thumbs up on the sport but a big thumbs down for the organization that feels like they need to dumb it all down in order to get the fans to attend. Based on the number of fans they had… it isn’t working. Get smart and market it for what it is, an exciting sport.

The T-shirts say it all — «It’s like hockey but with Balls» The team is having a slow start in 2012, but these guys are a Championship team and provide non-stop action! Very fun to watch! And, the team is always reaching out to the community, involving the kids and supporting local business and charities. You really need to check it out — they will not disappoint.

Non stop action like you have never seen before at ANY sporting event! From the second the ball is in play these guys are hustling, hitting and shooting! Add constant rock music and the adrenaline is flowing! Washington Stealth indoor lacrosse is like hockey on steroids! Seeing is believing.
