Everybody knows McDonald’s let’s face it !!! We grew up with McDonald’s. The one on Pickett rd in Fairfax city has been there a long long time. I just want to say the owner of this one is wonderful, extremely customer service oriented and who does their best to make the customers happy. This is a tough business and people criticize McDonald’s restaurants a lot, remember this – if you have never worked in one– have some respect it is not easy!!! This McDonald’s does a great job.

Open but no hamburgers. Unacceptable… Even at 12:45.am 4÷30÷15. How can you be 24 hours? rewarmed nuggets and ten minute wait for a mcchicken sandwich

I have been going to this McDonald’s for a long time now. Every time I go I hope for better service. It has yet to happen. Needless to say I will not be going anymore. They forget meal, argue with you and then will trow or grab the bag from you. The manager is understanding but his staff needs to go, They are in the customer service bussiness and this is not the way to keep your clients. I have yet to go through this place and get the correct meal and not have to argue. Never in my life have I met people so rude

This McDonalds is a home to many ‘Emo’ kids that frequent the restaurant everyday and loiter inside and outside(the round picnic tables) for hours on end. They literally walk in, sit down with other emo kids and watch tv and smoke a cigarette every 20mins. They don’t even order. It makes eating inside unbearable with all their loud obnoxious conversations and bi-sexual aura. The management should do something… Oh wait they cant, because the older emo kids work there! I’ll be going to Wendy’s instead.

I came here on Thursday July 1, 2010 @ 9:30 pm. I ordered 2 bagels with egg and Med Vanilla Cappuccino; I got what I ordered however the egg had too much oil in it therefore, I decided to get cream cheese instead. I asked how much is the cream cheese and the customer rep replies«25 cents» and said ok, let me have one. When she ring the sale, the rep said«it is 69 cents». That is crazy; never thought a small cream cheese will cost 69 cents. I changed my mind and ate my bagel without cream cheese. After I get into my car, I decided to review my purchase receipt; here is the phone number of the manager. I gave a call and asked how much do you sell the cream cheese, she kindly replied«10 cents». I have told my experience in her McDonald few minutes ago and she was shocked and offered me a refund which I declined. She apologized and ask me if there is anything she can do; I told her«make sure this doesn’t happen to anyone else. My overall experience at this McDonald was not great. The food was not good, customer service is very poor however management seem great.

I am not a fan of McDonald’s but my husband is and wanted to stop in for The Shamrock Shake due to the season. I had a buy one get one McCafe coupon so figured I would get a sugar free vanilla latte. It took 5 minutes for the employee to figure out the coupon. She tried to at first say it was only for buy one get one shake(must of been because of the picture on the coupon???) I was like No, if you read it, it clearly states that it is for McCafe beverages and the latte is included(I looked it online before I went). Anyway, it was super slow and the drinks were bad. The shamrock shake was extremely sickly minty and not blended at all. My latte was okay. Also I hate that there was no drive thru… or did I miss that? Doesn’t matter because if I come back to McDonalds in the future I would never come back to this location.

Kim, the employee that took our order was an older asian lady and didn’t crack a smile. Maybe she was having a bad day, but at least fake a smile. Sheesh. She was a bit difficult to understand, but at least our order was right. It was kind of odd because the customer behind us was extremely jovial for some reason and at least brought a smile to my face. McDonald’s please teach your employees to smile. When customers’ smiles out-shine your employees there’s something wrong.

This is one of the McDonald’s that has been a part of the City of Fairfax for longer than I can remember — I moved here in 1975 and it was present then — so it’s over 32 years old! We used to come here after school back in the 90s after class when I was a student down the road at Northern VA Community College — Annandale Campus. I stopped in this location for breakfast this morning after a Doctor’s appointment — as I sat there eating — I realized I had not stepped foot in this location for almost 13 years! I managed to slip in right at the tail end of the breakfast period at 10:30 am — they were just starting to serve burgers — I managed to get a Sausage, egg, and cheese McMuffin, hash brown, and coffee. I sat down to eat. Hot, tasty, and delicious. As I was eating, I looked up and noticed there was someone across the way sleeping at a table — looked like a homeless person — the person was wearing a pair of shorts and had a blanket draped over her/him(could not tell the gender) and a beanie on their head. Awfully cold out to be dressed like that — sure hope that person makes it. They offer free Wifi here.
