I feel like if I would have gone at a different time or a different day, everything would have been lovely. It was just my time to have a bad experience at a restaurant that is probably fine and dandy. Server was kind, courteous, and prompt. Cheery atmosphere. Reasonable prices. We each ordered a different wood-fired pizza. My husband’s Thai Chicken looked great, and my Mediterranean looked droopy. I love garlic, but anyone who doesn’t would hate it. Garlic breath for HOURS. The outer edge of the pizza was crispy/chewy/delicious, but they must have kneaded it out too far. The center of the pizza had a couple millimeters of crust below a mountain of cheese. The whole thing was wet with oil and water from the tomatoes, peppers, and soggy artichoke. It was just a gag-reflex-inducing thing to eat. And then it happened. I bit down on what I thought was hard crust. Nope. A piece of parchment or other paper, probably from the feta cheese. Will probably go again to have a burger with my husband, and it will probably be totally amazing. But… this first experience left a bad taste in my mouth, any and all puns intended.

Great place to meet friends. Where else can you get delicious grilled vegetables as an appetizer? Then balance the healthiness of that choice with excellent fried Walleye strips. Comfort food!!! The wait staff is attentive and friendly. I am making this my regular stop with friends.

There were five of us. We all ordered apps and beer. The service was great; friendly, courteous and attentive. The apps: Damn good. Artichoke dip, wings, walleye strips and pub shrooms. All the food was amazing. The beer: The selection is okay. I ordered three separate ones and only one was good. For me anyway. My friend thought I was crazy because I don’t like smokey, coffee flavored butt juice in a glass. I believe it was called a «nitro.» When we got here at 5:45, the place was paaaaaaacked! By the time we left around 7, I could have shot a cannon ball off and not hit a soul. I guess it’s the only place around for happy hour. I’d probably go back. I’d like to try the actual menu next time.

Ordered the fish and chips for lunch, and it was definitely better than other fish and chips plates I’ve had. Beer selection is decent.

EXCELLENT food, beer and service! We got the fried pickles and the Stout Dip. Both were delicious! The pickles were plump and crunchy with a perfect light batter, and the Stout Dip was so tender it melted in your mouth. Our waitress was incredibly friendly,(but not fake friendly), her name was Lissa, and she knew her stuff! I would definitely recommend this place.

Going to have to re-confirm my previous review. Food is good, service is good, free meals on Sundays for kids is great. But for being a beer bar, their beer selection sorta sucks. So, three stars — at least they are consistent!

Stouts isn’t just the best bar in Falcon Heights it’s the only bar in falcon heights. Full service restaurant and bar with amazing 24 tap beer list and full bar. Try the infused bloodies. I’m not much into bloodies but they now have me hooked. For food, the sliders and fish and chips are always a win. The pig wings are worth trying too if you like your pork ribs. Service is excellent the only downside is that they close at like 12 or 1.

Hmm what happened? We came in today for the first time in over a month and the menus were different(a front and back poster board instead of the usual fold-out) with mostly the same offerings but a few new things. We almost always order the same thing and they were all noticeably different today– not in a good way, but more like in a cutting corners kind of way. Bloody Mary garnish looked prettier but didn’t consist of the same full beef stick and pickle. Both of our entrees were made differently and it was disappointing, especially when our food has been consistently good since they opened. Why change a good thing?

This is one of the best restaurants for miles. I am a total foodie. travel and eat in some of best places in US… and this place has some of the best food ive ever had. not nust for pub fare. but food in general. The servers are friendly and on top of their game. Ive loved everything ive ever ordered. but the homemade chips with bacon aioli is ridiculous!!! The BLT is exceptional… i lived in NC the bacon and cold slaw capitol of the world and Stouts is the best ive ever had. Even their pickles are divine!!! I shouldnt even write this because it is always crowded and i dont need competition… but if you want good food. a true pub atmosphere and great beer and cocktails. wedge yourself into their parking lot and have a meal that tastes like mom made it. if mom was an irish girl with a gift with bacon sausage and spuds who went to le cordon bleu…

Went there last night to have a beer with a friend. One of few bars and restaurants in Falcon Heights, Minnesota. The place looks great on the outside with a few tables out front. HOWEVER, it was very noisy inside … seemed like it was almost too noisy for a conversation. We decided to sit at a table on the patio out front. That area was also noisy due to traffic on the busy street(Larpenteur Avenue). Cigarette smoke also drifted into the patio area where we were sitting adding to the unpleasantness. Yuck! I won’t be back and won’t recommend the place to others … highly unlikely that the management will make the noise adjustments to make the place enjoyable. Too bad since there are few places to go in the area.

With«pub» in the name I wasn’t expecting anything above greasy bar food but the food was excellent. My husband and I both ordered the sliders, one of the pulled pork and one with the filet. Both were good but we preferred the pork ones. They were spicy and had cucumbers and a nice aioli. The fries weren’t great but we loved the coleslaw. We will be coming back for many more future lunches.

I’ve been here a few times and would go back again and again! Love the layout and atmosphere, and the food is excellent. If you have a thing for beef stroganoff, they serve it on Fridays. OMG, sooooooooooo GOOD!

I tried this place when it first opened, and I wasn’t a big fan. I think it was because I went for food, and got a drink that I didn’t end up enjoying. I recently went back, and was super impressed. I forgot how neat the atmosphere is! They have a cute little patio as well. Our waitress was really nice. Their happy hour is the best part… it’s $ 3 beers, which is not just 2 or 3, but an entire list, and $ 2 off all appetizers. Next for me to try: Their $ 3 Bloody Mary on Saturdays and Sundays!

Steak sandwich was good minus the one bite of all fat. Fries were way over done. Had to send them back. Soup came out a minute before entrees. Just not a lot of attention by service staff at all. First time here. I can’t see coming back.

I gave full stars even if I couldn’t provide any pictures right now, because I am gonna come back again and again! I will be back to post pictures and honestly, this should be marked better than three and half stars in total.

Ever since I read John O. review I just had to get over there. He has a way of making wherever he is, THE place to be. I really love this place and location but a few kinks made me take off a star. First I had to try the cheese curds. Extreme salt and greasiness made me not a big fan. Before you say, «They’re cheese curds asshole», I just think back to the Dells and the ones without an ounce of grease, and they are my guide. We ordered like we were making up for lost time being there. Basil got fried mushrooms. They come with a weird horseradish dip. I got the walleye sandwich. I thought it was strange that it was a dollar less than the dinner. This thing is huge, so is the perfectly grilled ciabatta bun. Lots of lettuce, and a delicious homemade tarter sauce. Yes I could taste the beer. That was the soup also, beer cheese, but majorly lacking cheese. It was more like a dark brown pour of beer. I got that instead of fries. I tried a bite of the bread pudding in a small cast iron pan, served perfectly firm, good but could use whipped cream. An awesome server Sydney made our first visit exceptional. An odd assortment of customers. Most are into sports and watching one of the 3TV’s in one room alone. I couldn’t help noticing the boomers like us, sitting behind me each with an IPAD. It wouldn’t surprise me if they were texting each other. After I ordered I got up to go to the ladies room, which might have been a freezer at one time. I couldn’t help but notice how good all the pizzas looked. There are many more things I want to try on this menu, like everything.

A few friends and myself went here to watch the Vikings vs. Packers game last night.(urgh) and it was a surprisingly good experience. My boyfriend and I have driven past this place a few times and wanted to try it out. Despite the sub-par reviews, it may be a hit or miss experience. A highlight was the service we were provided. Our server was named Taylor and he was great. It’s sad how hard it is to experience good service at a restaurant nowadays and he restored some faith back in me. We went on «Ladies Night» and the specials were great. The local beer pint selection was great and satisfied everyone at the table. We ordered cheese curds which were a bit on the salty side but hey, it’s greasy carbs on a plate what can you expect? We also ordered a pizza and that was delicious as weel. If you are in the area I would recommend giving this place a try. I want to go back and try something else on the menu. Oh, and if Taylor is working ask to sit in his section he will make your dining experience much more enjoyable.

Best thing to say about this place was that they have some pretty awesome onion rings. They seemed to have been battered in doughnut batter because they puffed up like a balloon. the breading had a unique taste to it that I really enjoyed. They were very filling though, I had one and a half and thought it was too much too handle. They also have a good selection of draft, and a few flights to choose from. The menu looked decent, but a little pricey for bar food. I ordered a sausage pizza that was $ 3 off for happy hour trying to save a few bucks. It was pretty good, nothing about it blew me away, maybe I just didn’t have a good appetite that night. it was a crispy thin crust that seemed to be home made. It just isn’t a place I would go out of my way to come back to. We did have a good time playing trivia there, so maybe I will come back for that. Nothing about the place made it stand out. It seemed like a franchise, not sure if it is or not but I never like the feel of a franchise restaurant. I’m always looking for somewhere unique with their own flare and creative identity. Not a bad spot to grab some food if you’re nearby. Just be sure to order those O-Rings!

Tonight I brought a friend here for dinner because we were in the area and I was really sad about the experience we had. We sat at the bar and were served by Benjamin who greeted us with«did you want something? «. We had to ask for menus, and when I asked if there were any specials he smugly told me «nope». We ordered our drinks and food and both were tasty. My friend finished his drink faster than me and ordered a second and we were promptly given our tab before I was even asked if I wanted another. Clearly we were inconveniencing this dude so I paid the tab and went somewhere else to spend my hard earned money. If I ever go back here and I see him behind the bar, I’ll walk out. I too am a bartender and I would never even consider treating people so rudely!
