really bad carnitas tostada, hardly any refrieds on the bottom, meat was hard and greasy, cheese could have been fake, no sour cream or guac that I can recall; soggy fries at the bottom of this mess for some reason… chili rellenos were lukewarm and soggy… seems like these folks don’t take much pride in what they put on the plate… I won’t return, afraid I’ll get sick if I do…

I’ve been here twice. The first time, I had to leave because I didn’t have cash and they don’t take cards. The second time, I went for a breakfast burrito. It was a good size but, I judge a Mexican place by the taste of their beans, these beans tasted like they came from a can that I have in my cabinet at home. The red salsa, also a judgement point for me, was gross and had a weird aftertaste.

The best Mexican food in Fallbrook… hands down. If you’re looking for fancy dining, go someplace else. If it’s good, cheap and fast eats, this is the place. I judge a taco place by their rolled tacos. Crispy all the way through with real guac and the right blend of orange and white cheese. A great place for what it is!

My stand-alone Mexican food place! And with all to choose from in Fallbrook, that’s saying something! Everything fresh, the staff — especially drive thru– are always friendly.

I’ve lived in Fallbrook for many years and I’ve gone to Royal Beauty knows late at night the clerk there is so rude that my roommate and I decided we’re not going to go back to robertitos again. don’t know why he has to be so rude we’ve tried many times going there at night and he’s always rude the cheese isn’t real cheese and the guacamole has milk mixed into it I would not recommend it to anyone

I could smell the goodness from driving down the road. Stopped in and grabbed a carne asada burrito with guac, pico de gallo, and fresh cilantro all wrapped up in a toasty tortilla. It really hit the spot and I’ll be back.

In all honesty, I have only ever had their Horchata and Adobada Burritos, however no one compares. The prices are great, yeah they only take cash, but it’s posted everywhere. Just make sure you arrive with cash. They even have a drive thru. Every time my husband and I go into town, all we can think about in wanting in Robertitos! Overall, delicious and I highly recommend the Adobada.

You can’t go wrong with the California Burrito(We get guac too), carne asada fries, and breakfast burritos. All delicious. The portions are bigger than the size of your face, and the pricing is always around $ 5 – 6. One burrito can keep you full all day. Be warned: it’s addicting.

I came here with my husband when we first moved to Fallbrook. We weren’t uses to everything closing early so we went to one of the only places open. Didn’t know they took cash only until we were at the window about to pay. Had to run in and use their atm that charged us almost $ 3. Some of the worst Mexican food I’ve had. Carne asada fries were mushy and gross. Haven’t been back since.

One star for the simple reason the beans suck, the orders are usually made with at least one thing wrong withem. And the second star is for the carne asada burritos… They are the really good here.

This is easily the best place to get food in Fallbrook past 10PM. Burritos are a healthy size(but not at all healthy) and being used to always getting 8 dollar burritos from Chipotle, at $ 5.20 these burritos are cheap! California burrito is decent for a California burrito, and you should really try the chile relleño burrito. Even though you won’t be able to eat it with your hands from all the melted cheese and grease disintegrating it. Carne asada fries are also pretty good, and although expensive you get a lot for what you pay for. Don’t be fooled by the«medium size» when buying the fries, they are huge and you’d have consumed probably about 2000 calories eating it by yourself. This place is great for midnight munchies for sure, similar to an Alberto’s, but don’t be surprised if you gain a pound from eating one of their burritos.

Got munchies? This is all you need! I usually go for the adobada Cali burrito or try ordering up a half carne Asada fries half carne Asada nachos, I recently found out about doing that half & half order! Only con about this place is if you order anything adobada your hands will smell like pungent beef for a loong time!(Even after washing your hands!!) kinda penetrates like a subway sandwhich does.

Ok, it’s New Years Day, 1÷1÷14, and this is the only Mexican place open in Fallbrook. Alright, I get that, but that doesn’t entitle the little pendejo behind the counter to be an ass to customers just because they ask a couple questions. But perhaps that doesn’t apply if the customers are gringos, eh??? His attitude was plainly obvious so we made the decision to split. We weren’t in the mood for a cucaracha California burrito tonight. Folks, the place is ghetto in all regards — so please go elsewhere in town. Por ejemplo, Northgate Market just a few doors to the north of these jerks serves up great food, so check them out. The best WASP-unknown spot in town is the bakery next door to the theater right on the corner. Fresh, great food. And without too much of an attitude, either. Do it for the children.

20 years ago, I used to live in Fallbrook and frequent this place weekly. I am moving back, so I tried them last night… and I will not go back. I went through the drive thru. I ordered a Carne Asada plate, a Carnitas plate and a Cheese Enchilada plate. Pull up to the window and see a small sign taped to, but falling off the window, stating«Cash Only». I didn’t have any cash… I never have cash because it’s 2013 and I’m over 40 years old. The guy at the window says they have an ATM inside, so I leave the drive thru, go inside and am charged a $ 2.05 fee to use the ATM, on top of the $ 1 from my bank. I never have cash, so that is one of the reasons I won’t be back. Hubby liked the carne asada plate, son liked the cheese enchiladas. Ohhhh, but the carnitas. They were dry, tough and disgusting. They were un-Godly. I ate the beans, rice and tortilla, and I brought the«carnitas» home for the dogs. Bleck. I have an iron stomach, but I am so grossed out even typing this. I’m giving it 2 stars because my family liked their plates, and the guy at the counter was nice.

I expected a lot more out of this place. Being born and raised in SD, I have an affinity for Mexican food, and this place just didn’t stack up to most places. I ordered a Cali burrito, and the cheese was thrown on top as if it was a last minute decision. Still cold. The carne asada wasn’t very flavorful, and had quite a few pieces of gristle in it. The French fries in the burrito tasted cold and hard. The horchata wasn’t very cinnamony at all. Overall, not impressed.

You know what tastes awesome after a night of hot sweaty dancing and drinking with your friends? CARNEASADAFRIES. Luckily the fry God does not disappoint and he hath ruled Robertitos to be open 24 hours.(can’t you hear the angels sing?) Now unto this establishment: Pros: –prob the best carne asada fries i’ve ever had — delicious rolled tacos — open 24 hours — large menu with lots of yummy mexi treats Cons: –CASHONLY — They have an ATM, but they charge you like a million dollars to withdrawal — They charged me extra for sour cream — Also for jalapenos and carrots :( I think the pros outweigh the cons by far, so guess I’ll be seeing you around Robertitos… Ps. this relationship has been going on since my high school drinking days… and Im college graduated now… its serious

I grew up eating Robertitos. This place is a must have if and when you’re in Brook Town. I attended Fallbrook High back in early/mid 2000’s, and my friends and I would sneak out during lunch time to get some California burritos. Bomb-skeet! Also, during my senior year, my friends and I would go to all Quincearenas possible at the community center and empaque. After the party was over(around 10pm) we would go to Robertitos for the afterparty. You know that place is always popping at night. Best time to go is probably 3am in the morning when there’s people coming back from TJ, La Nueva Ronda, Show Palace, El Rodeo, etc. Bunch of scrubs and skonks. Lock! My friend Charlie was so obssessed with this place that he wanted to work there. He even went to culinary school to boost up his chances. I don’t know if he ever applied. He’s now in Dominguez Hills being a skonk and losing Iron Chef to Barrbq. When I went off to USC for college, I would always hit this place up when I was visiting my family. Sometimes I would bring some of my USC buddies, and they loved this place. Must have from the menu are the following: California burrito w/o pico de gallo, plus sour cream, and lime chicken quesadilla tacos de adobada chicken tacos carne asada nachos carne asada fries
