First of all, note that they close at 7PM. I don’t know other what retail store in the Washington, DC metro area closes that early on a weeknight. Basically, I’m disappointed that I rushed there after work, arriving at 7:03PM, and was not allowed to pick up the special order print job that I need for tomorrow morning, after paying extra for it to be printed by today. In any small business, the clerk would want the sale and accommodate the customer, when there are still customers inside checking out. Obviously, traffic and poor planning led me to arrive three minutes after the store closed, but the disappointment is in the lack of professional service and courtesy. At least I did not prepay for the print job; they can eat that now. I’ll print elsewhere next time.

One cashier open and a line of customers waiting. The two other employees ignored the multiple pages for help up front. He physically had to go and yell for someone. Buying my one item took 60 seconds to select and 20 minutes to purchase. Last trip here

I regret having decided to shop here. Staff is unfamiliar with what they sell and inefficient in executing a sale. I had to go back three times for 1 time.

I went in looking for something specific and they had it. There was also no line so I was able to get in and get out in time. Even better each of the employees had a smile on their face so it will make me come back should I not find what I need at the Office Depot nearby.

I don’t think this place gets a lot of business. I recently read that Staples is planning to close another slew of stores… wondering if this’ll be one of them. There’s an Office Depot and a Target within 2 miles, and I’m not sure there’s large enough of a population in need of office supplies. The two times I’ve been here, I’ve been either the only one in the store or one of 2 – 5. This time, it was closer to the latter. The cashier greeted me upon entrance, and another employee asked me if I needed help as I browsed. I came in for a flash drive, which is sold in a large locked case, but also browsed through all the aisles in case I found anything I wanted for my office. Turns out, not really. No wait to check-out as expected. A-OK as Unilocal’s star system says.

This is a good Staples location. I often have to pick up paper and various office supplies. They keep it in stock here. Recently I was looking for some large format paper for my printer. I ended up buying some 11×17 card stock to print color posters on. It was the Staples store brand and was available at a good price.

Took my four year old HP desktop here for an upgrade(RAM, video card). $ 400 later, what a disaster. Nothing works. I can barely type a complete sentence in MS Word without having the computer lock up. Forget doing anything on the net; it took me over 20 minutes to write and post this review. Avoid the tech support!

I’m THAT girl in your office that is immaculately organized, has everything color coded, uses different colors of sticky notes, and writes notes in different colored ink. I find myself visiting this Staples location about once every other month or so whenever I’m running low on supplies. Everything is organized and easy to find, and they even have shopping baskets with wheels for you to use.(If you’ve ever shopped at grocery stores in NYC, you will know what I’m talking about) Most of the sales associates are informative and friendly too. If you shop here for your home or office, you should definitely take advantage of their rewards program(I received an annual 10% off ink and toner card because I have a business account with them!) because you’ll receive a bunch of reward coupons throughout the year. FYI: If you have empty ink cartridges, you can also recycle them here for $ 2 each!
