Love this place! Good food, good drinks, food prices! A lot of options… pool, karaōke or DJ, darts, boardgames, plenty of seating and a cool covered area or back! They have an amazing bar staff who is always happy and personable! Occasionally there is 1 female bartender who isn’t as warm… but everyone else makes up for her!

Male bartender was chewing tobacco and spitting in the front of house into a solo cup as well as freely to the trash can beneath him. Clearing glasses from the bar by grabbing the inside of the dirty glasses, then grabbing to serve pull tabs, then making drinks. No sanitation seems to be in place here. Additionally, I walked in here once on a weekday afternoon and sat at a high top, no service through first 10 minutes so I walked out. Returning this last time I sat at the bar while the girl cashing out asked if I had been helped yet, I said no, and she said okay, without asking for any order. Every employee is allowed behind the bar, not sure why they even have service rails. The chew spitting is absurd. Shut it down.

god damn good brisket sandwich and normally, at least for me, the service is quick so your glass is never empty for long.

I remember before the brickwall was still up, it has always been a great place with friendly staff and regulars. Food was already good for a bar, but now even better with the full kitchen they have. Awesome ribeye steaks! Great place to watch any game! Just get there early, it gets packed! Which is a good sign! Will recommend anyone to check this place out!

Stopped in here for the first time with the boyfriend last night. There were quite a few people there, so had to wait a few minutes for the bartender to come to our table. He seemed like a nice guy, and actually suggested we get a pitcher of beer to save ourselves a few bucks, so that’s what we ended up doing. We were going to get a pitcher of Samuel Adams, but unfortunately the tap blew and the guy gave us the last of what was left. My boyfriend drank it but I wouldn’t take more than a sip since at that point it didn’t have any taste. We ended up getting a pitcher of Blue Moon instead. The taste seemed kinda off, like it was stale or something, hence my reason for taking off one star. Seems like a great place to hang out and there’s even some pool tables and ample TVs to watch sports on. They had on hockey, the Mariners game, and the Sounders game. There were even a few people singing karaōke. Our time there was pretty decent and we definitely plan on returning sometime soon.

I enjoy it here. Great staff, decent food, and karaōke. It’s right down the road from home for me. Convenience and very very affordable. The place could definitely use a little make over. Keep up the good work Brickyard! They now have shuffle board! Go HAWKS

I used to like coming regularly to this bar to enjoy drinks and food and hang out, and I thought becoming a regular and tipping good would earn me good service, well even after all that time I never got high excellent service here. Mediocre. And last time I went in the guy did not make my Long island right. He offered to fix it and I didn’t want him to, because I did not want to be a bug, he still took the glass added more alcohol(which is a good part I guess) but he did it with a sour attitude when I said thank you he didn’t say you’re welcome. So I will not be returning.

There is a definite change we did not see any servers that use to work on Sunday They have a large sign on the window stating NASCAR Bingo. We asked about it @ the beginning of the race and the male server said when they have time they would do Bingo. We ordered and had breakfast I asked again about the Bingo and got the same answer. The crowd thinned out considerately and we left @ lap 299 and still no Bingo or any activity towards setting it up. The former staff use to pass out Bingo cards & use to call every 100 laps. We would have stayed and spent more money on beverages but decided no Promised Bingo no more money spent at Brickyard for us today. We always enjoyed the promptness and the former staff always got the Bingo done. The owner needs to remove the Bingo sign in the window and staff needs to say that We do not have Nascar Bingo any more. Maybe the business sold and the new owners replaced the staff and they no longer serve food until after 2 pm so do not look to have lunch during the week.

Something bad going on here. Getting rid of great staff, bringing in incompetent rude staff, pouring short drinks, no more taco bar, food specials are usually gone before seven, no heat(or at least they claim the owner won’t let them adjust it even though it is freezing inside the place). Just going downhill and all the regulars know it. The owners refuse to listen to their customers.

This place has good drinks and good food but if you go in on a game day don’t expect to be served any time soon. The regulars are served as they walk in the door. We sat there for 15 mins before anyone stopped by. Another 15 mins went by and had to walk to the bar to place my order that the waitress forgot. Nice.

I have been going to this«dive bar» for a number of years. Not a «Regular» but often enough to know what they have on tap. Their Friday night Prime Rib Special is a great deal! They throw 4 – 5 roasts on early and they carry most of the evening. However, I have grown REALLY tired of a couple of the obnoxiously vile wretched wait staff at this joint. Crass, rude, ill-mannered, bad-tempered, impolite, discourteous, uncivil,…pick the adjective you like best. So much so, that I will not be going back anytime in the near distant future. The guys in the kitchen, stand up guys. If they screw up an order they fix it. The«ahem» waitress that delivers it… in some cases, not so much, scratch that, NOTATALL! Don’t misread this. There are 2 – 3 of the servers there that are probably delightful. I just don’t choose to play Russian roulette with who I might have as my server. If I ask for Prime Rib — Medium Rare, and it comes out gray, it should go back and you should have the grace to apologize,(the kitchen guys have on more than one occasion!) not that I need an apology, it just seems like good business practice. I should not be told that I am a problem. Heard from a friend that he waited an hour for a beer and his food last Friday, before he left also. Pay the extra $ 6-$ 8 get your Prime Rib the way you like it, with a fair amount of proper decorum, in a place that has proper servers, not swill sloshing barmaids. Prime Rib deal is a 5 star, Bar itself is a 3 star, some of the waitstaff drag it all down to a one for me.

I must say for a local hang out it is what it is. I’m a newlywed and we had out impromt ‘reception” here… we went in a week before and asked to reserve tables, told them we don’t have much money so don’t bother to decorate we just needed room. They gave us half the bar and deceroated for us! What a nice surprise! the bartenders where right there all night for all our friends and family! They were amazing! a big thank you to all of them! They went above and beyond! THANKYOU from Erin and James!

Go Monday throught Thursday before 8:00pm and you will like this Pub. After that things get real shady. The expansion only proved to waste space instead of improving this place. They should have added another pool table instead of sticking one dartboard in another room. Nobody comes here for the food and should not, it’s a Pub, keep it that way. Although the prime rib on friday is very good for the price, they always run out around 8:00pm. This is a «regular’s» place to go and should not be a point of interest if you want to drink, play pool and have fun.

I am a regular here and I really enjoy the atmosphere. The bar recently had a huge renovation a little over a year ago and with it came more space and a new full menu with many amazing food choices. The bar staff is great and very intuitive to there customers needs. The drinks are stiff and the food is great what more could you ask for…

Apparently the ribeye steak special on Saturdays wasn’t an ongoing thing. They’re still available from the regular menu, just not as that night’s special. Last Saturday was prime rib french dip, which makes sense with prime rib being the special on Fridays. My husband ordered it and said it was really good. I had the Mini Me sliders with cheese… perfect little burgers of nom!

Anxious to see where the real locals hang out, my boyfriend and I decided to have a couple of beers here. In my hometown, redneck dive bars are everywhere to be found so the Brickyard Pub was not too much of a culture shock. :) The bartenders are super nice and let me try a couple of the local beers before I decided whether or not to order one. If our stay would’ve been just a little longer, I would have liked to return. The atmosphere is very, very laid back and the regulars are definitely an entertaining bunch to watch.

This is a very local dive bar. And perhaps one of the best things about it is it is easy walking distance from the house! The roommate and I decided to throw all caution to the wind after we made it out of the Castaway and stopped in the Brickyard. The place was packed! The bartenders were quick with service and we quickly got our beers. Even after we sat down the staff was always coming by and seeing if we needed anything. It was karaōke night. There was lots of rock, but it was all good. I think. I also think the same woman who was in Mark J.‘s review was back again dancing with some guy. Technically, she was doing some weird hip sway while he was seated. Not too mention her faux fur coat was awesome. A couple of people introduced themselves to us and it was clear they were regulars and just wanted to be sure that we were having a good time. Another stop added to the«Dirty South’ tour. Indeed!

I had a good time at this place. It is VERY«LOCAL.» Me and my friend had some food there… it was standard bar fare. The bartender was nice. The crowd was a bit loud, seemingly full of regulars… this one lady sleezed over to our table and was blatently hitting on my friend until I busted out laughing and told her that he was my boyfriend… she was taken aback and exclaimed…“OHMYGOD, YOUGUYSAREGAY?!” This got a few raised eyebrows… and a few chuckles… but I never felt uncomfortable or unwelcome by the crowd. I have to describe the lady… she was in her late 50’s, had very few teeth, a Farrah Fawcett hairdo, a tube-top, white cowboy boots and tight LEE jeans tucked into the boots. And perhaps had been ther for some time… judging by her slurred speach. If you are ever in Federal Way and want to study the locals… this is an adventure. Definately wear lipgloss.
