My husband and i lived there for 11 years. We were very happy with where we lived until they were bought out. The living room was nice sized. The bedrooms didnt have lights so you had to buy your lamps. Only one storage area next to the washer and dryer. In a 2×1 they have stackable washer and dryers and it sucks. The kitchen was all old appliances. What sucked at the very end is that they overcharged us when we moved out. They added our water bill for last two months together when i had paid one of those months already. They also had to fix my ceiling and i told them there was mold and they ignored it and it was just mildew. They dont care about their tenants just money. They also charge for carports of 40.00. The manager of the property is rude. When i was moving out they knew we were and decided to repaint the stripes where we were moving first instead of starting on the opposite side. And then they tried to tow my car. Inconsiderate, rude. Jennifer the manager says she knows all the tenants by name and she had to ask me what unit i was in. Glad we moved from there. DONTRENTFROMHERE. you will regret it later. I dont normally write reviews but people need to know what they are in for.

I have recently moved into Fox Run. I’m renting a remodeled unit in one of the buildings that doesn’t have a secured entrance. There are some buildings with a secured entrance here, and some apartments are older. I lived in the area a few years ago, and I was impressed with this complex due to how clean and well-maintained it was. The grounds are still being well-maintained. There is a stream and pond near the office, and some trees with the wetlands behind the development add to the beauty. There is a very small exercise room and a small common area. The mailboxes are inside the office building which is locked after hours, which is great in my opinion. There is a small outdoor pool which is open during the summer and a small jacuzzi. The apartment I’m in has a wood burning fireplace and a deck facing the wetlands. They added new stainless steel appliances to the kitchen and new, good carpet and vinyl flooring to mimic wood floors. There are no lights installed in the living room or the bedrooms except for the master closet. I like the layout of the apartment. Not having a linen closet is a let down, but there is storage on the patio and some storage with the water heater. The color scheme is nice, and it’s great having windows on the north and south. One either pays for a carport, if any are available, or parks in an open space. There wasn’t a carport available when I moved in, but finding parking hasn’t been an issue and I’d rather save the money anyway. Some advice I would give before signing a lease is to make sure you open the kitchen cabinets, dishwasher and the stacked washer/dryer unit during the tour. These are all quite small inside. The dishwasher I have is so small, I can’t use the top rack for anything except utensils and small bowls; regular water glasses are too tall. I’ll also be doing laundry every day of the year unless I haul it all to a laundromat. The washer is maxed out of space with 3 bath towels in it. Some of the outlets didn’t work when I moved in, and the patio door was water damaged along with a ripped window screen in the dining room. These can all be easily repaired. Whoever did the remodel didn’t pay attention to the details, such as the cabinet doors under the sink are hung unevenly, the kitchen floor slopes upwards near the sink, the molding at the floor/wall is bulging out on the kitchen island, etc. They are little things that are noticeable. The walls are thin. I can hear my neighbors arguing, and when the little kid who lives above me walks around, it sounds like a herd of buffalo is attacking. The apartments are close to two hospitals, the library, three grocery stores, right next door to an elementary school and a five minute drive from I5. All in all, Fox Run is a good apartment for the price and location. There are pros and cons to anywhere you choose to live.

Don’t rent here. Unless you don’t mind mold(or «mildew» as the manager likes to call it), old furniture that will be falling apart before your very eyes and leaky windows — which can be a bad thing if your living in Washington. This has to be the most dingy apartment i have ever lived in

I’ve lived in Fox Run since March 2011, and never had any major complaints until now. At first, I lived in a 2×1, and during that time I experienced 2 rats coming in through my oven, and a pipe burst that flooded my unit as well as the units above and below me. During this time, management was helpful in rectifying the problem. After a year in the 2×1, I then moved into a 3×2 this is when things started going downhill. In the 8 months in this unit, I have experienced plants growing through the carpet in the master bedroom(this is because the flooring is completely rotted out underneath the carpet), and this leads to spiders constantly coming into the unit. There is also a serious mold problem in the entire complex. It’s growing on the ceiling in the shower in the master bedroom, and I also found a very large area of the wall inside my son’s closet covered in mold(all that’s in the closet is clothes and a few toys). The heat always has to stay on because of the poor insolation in the unit, the toilet in the communal bathroom runs all the time(even after being«fixed). Upon going to complain to Tresha, the new Property Manager since the previous company sold the complex, my husband and I were brushed off because she wanted to leave at 5pm on her Friday. We were met with rudeness and told that it was not their responsibility to clean our apartment. Keep in mind that our apartment is always clean and we were asking them to look into the mold issue. After speaking with a housing inspector, we were told that we may have a serious water intrusion coming from the master bedroom. The mold has possibly contributed to respiratory issues we have battled since living in the 3×2 coughing, sneezing, runny noses, respiratory infections. After being blown off by Tresha, I informed her that my husband and I would be exercising our rights as tenants, and were met with«they would pursue legal action as well». Our rent has always been paid on time, we have never had any complaints, our unit is always clean and when things break, we put in the work orders as needed. Needless to say, that with the attitude of the NEW property manager and the horrible conditions of this apartment, we will not be renewing. I would advise anyone looking at this property to not be fooled by the«niceness» of Tresha, as it is all an act. When you need her, she will not be there for you. If you have children, I would especially reconsider this complex you don’t want your children sick from the mold and rotting floors.
