They have a great selection of different food items. The grilled fish tacos are my favorite. The blackened fish sandwich is also really great. There is an ample selection of beer and wine. The Wednesday night music is the best!

The atmosphere and staff were great. Definitely the saving grace as you need to drink a lot more to enjoy the food. After further discussion with my family: my 10 year old daughter stated«It was awful. I would rather eat at McDonald’s.»

We had good service. The food was off and the shrimp was undercooked. They were serving 10oz glasses as 16oz. Please check and don’t get ripped off as we almost did.

Amazing! The food was great, our server rocked! We sat outside and it was an awesome view of the ocean. The playground they have helped keep the crazy toddlers occupied. We were in town for a week and went twice, definitely a place to check out!

Wednesday, June 8th, 2016. Fairly crowded night but was seated in less than 30 minutes. Ordered our meal with an appetizer(Calmari) and drinks. Was told shortly after ordering the meal would take about 45 minutes, the kitchen was a little slow. Forty-Five Minutes later the Calmari arrived. Our dinner arrived 3 minutes prior to the 2 hour mark. Our waiter did not check drinks but once in that 2 hours. Told him I would like to speak with a Manager and he asked, «Was something wrong?» Yes, we had to wait 2 hours for our dinner. When the manager arrived, she apologized and said I’ve taken $ 30 off your bill, sorry for the inconvenience; anything else you need? «We would have liked to have our drinks refilled!!!» There were not that many tables upstairs. Waiter spent most of the night up by the hostess stand. Service was terrible, food was long delayed and cold. Employees were poorly trained and poorly managed. Though we reside part time on the island, I will be hard pressed EVER to return. Food quality, was at best mediocre. Calamari was rubbery. Shrimp and Grits were good(according to 2 at our table). 3 Stars for Atmosphere and proximity to the beach. 1 Star for service, food quality and general lack of consideration to customers! Recommend more engaged management and much better training. Hope you visit was better than ours!

My family and I had a wonderful experience here. We walked in to a lot of people dancing and talking… having a great time. The energy level was very contagious and we had a great time. Our waitress was very kind and kept our drinks filled and needs addressed. The steak had a great flavor but was a little tough for my liking. Fries were very good and everything else was great.

Very, very disappointed with the food here! The service was an A+ and the drinks get an A, but all the food we got except for the shrimp was not good. We started w the buffalo shrimp. Half the shrimp was cold and old and half was freshly cooked. I don’t want old buffalo shrimp mixed in w freshly cooked. I had the seafood platter. The shrimp was good but the fish was cold, hard and dry! Out of 6 of us eating, only 1 enjoyed their dinner. We will not return except for drinks and live music.

Well… I guess our first mistake was my GF thought this was a place that had sliders. She read a great article about it, and it looked like a nice, but casual place. No… just a typical beach restaurant bar, with typical beach food. Our hostess barely spoke English, and then our waitress spoke less. She explained that she was only here for a little while and apologized for her English. She knew nothing of the menu… had to go see which beers they had. We ordered those and just as we were debating whether we should wait any longer for them(it a LONG time), she brought them. My beer was terrible. It was a draft, and I think she brought me the wrong one. She disappeared before we ordered food, and when we did finally order, she said they were out of my entrée. We just paid for our beers and left. I didn’t finish mine. No need to return, obviously. And, by the way, I only mention the language problem because it made me think that this was a place that would rather pay low wages for untrained personnel, than provide good service. They proved me right.

I really enjoyed Sliders. Good food, nice beverages and live entertainment all oceanfront. Service was so-so when they’re busy — a bit understaffed. I recently began a habit of checking my receipts against my credit card statements and glad I did here. «Somehow» and extra $ 10 was added to my already generous tip after I signed the receipt. When I noticed it, I called Sliders and they were very good about quickly refunding the $ 10 and said they would have a discussion with our waitress. I’d still go again, but keep my receipts and check them for accuracy.

Great service, view of the ocean, toes in the sand. Had the ahi tuna tacos. Very fresh, just the right spice. Now live music with Pili Pili! Don’t want to leave!

Barely average. Food is typical beach fare and not much of it for the prices. I got a salad that cost $ 6.99. There were a few pieces of leafy greens, two cherry tomatoes and three cucumber slices. Could I have asked for more? I would have but the server was nowhere to be found. Another strike. My gf and I shared a grilled chicken sandwich. It was palm size(of a really small person). Sharing it was a joke. We hardly got two bites each. The only plus is that it is right on the beach.

Wonderful service, fantastic view. The bang-bang shrimp tacos have great flavor, with the right amount of spice, cabbage and a del opus seafood salad. Very good!

While in Fernandina we stopped found our way to to the beach. This is a neat outdoor bar right on the beach. The views are spectacular and there is nothing better than a cold beer on the beach! If you are in Fernandina, give Sliders a try. You won’t be disappointed.

By far my favorite place from all week! We sat outside and the view was totally worth the amount we spent in food and drinks. I got the Mermaid Water and it was delicious! I also ordered the pulled pork tacos — because it was taco Tuesday and why not?! — everything was delicious. Our server was awesome as well. Totally check this place out! **&& they have swings as bar stools! How cool is that?!

The experience here was limited to drinks outside, but that was plenty good to keep us here for a while. The digs out back were spacious and festive, including swings at the bar. The couple in their 50s that was making out on said swing seemed to be enjoying it as well. Standard drinks from a seaside-esk bar with enough to keep you busy and nothing really out of the ordinary. Overall, a good time and a place that caters to its clientele very well.

Came here after hanging at the beach all day. Great location, not bad bathrooms for a beach location. Service here was superb. The waiter was extremely nice and would check on us often. I ordered a piña colada which was quite yummy. It wasn’t the highest quality or the best Piña colada I have ever had but it did hit the spot. We sat outside and the view was lovely. It just had a really nice vibe to the place. Very calm and laid back. Food did not take very long to get to us. All i had was edamame but my boyfriend had a sandwich. It was tasty and was great for what it was beach food. I would recommend this place to anyone who was in the area. Thanks for great service and a nice day!

Place is nicely located. Though, they are not prepared to handle the volume of clients they get and waiters/cookers need more training. We waited for 30 minutes. The host that walk us through didn’t say anything, just took the menus and start walking at a fast pace. Once sit, the waitress, Melissa, was good. Though she was handling a lots of tables at the same time, so one got a good service. One of the kids who brought the appetizers brought it without the forks, we asked him if he could bring some, and he say no, and asked us to ask our waitress for it. Next kid who brought the food missed one of the sides, said it was on the way, but it never arrived. Food was ok, but nothing special. Not planning to come back!

We’lll perhaps try again during the on season. But for now, this was a disappointment. The kitchen was closed by 8pm and the so called bar menu was sparse. To top it off, it seemed a surprise to the staff that someone came in… we had to walk to the bar to find a hostess for a seat. We settled on nachos(probably from the grocery by the taste and quality) and a couple drinks, The drinks were ok but, we kept the order simple anticipating it wasn’t a robustly talented keep. We were looking forward to more particularly due to the location and the divey/surfy décor.

My family has been coming to Amelia Island my entire life and while it never really wows us, we always go to Sliders. I love coming here for the location. It’s right on the beach and if you go at a good time you can sit upstairs and have a great view of the ocean right in front of you. It’s a very, very casual place to don’t get all dressed up if you’re planning on coming here. It’s the type of place that is PERFECT after a long day on the beach and you show up in shorts and a tank top with your swimsuit still on underneath. This most recent time we went on a Tuesday night around 7 and it was perfect. There was still a good amount of people there but it didn’t feel packed and there was a live band playing down in the bar area on the beach. I ordered the ahi tuna tacos and they were SOGOOD. The rest of the menu is your average fried seafood type of dishes but these really stood out for me! They were great so if you’re looking for something a bit different but still seafood, get these! I had fried okra and plantains on the side which were both pretty good as well. I’ve never been in the bar area(only newly 21!) but it looks like it has a cool vibe for just chilling out on the beach. If you want a casual place just to be near the ocean, Sliders is definitely where you should go!

A perfect Sunday afternoon … Bar Swing seats, a must see Keg Water Feature, eclectic Tiki Bar, and an Elevator! We arrived to polite & friendly FREE valet parking — meaning we didn’t have to hunt down parking on a Sunday afternoon at one of the main beaches! Since I drive by almost daily, I have had a chance to witness that these valets are conscientious & respectful while parking guest vehicles.(Please tip your valet!) Hubby & I took a quick tour checking the place out. Upstairs on 3rd floor is a calmer, quieter dining experience w/outdoor walking deck & great ocean views. The 2nd floor was hosting Line Dancing — and those dancing were having a delightful time! Also this level features a large side bar with more seaside views. The décor is all very interesting as well & includes a small gift shop. We were greeted by Jenn & choose to sit outside at the beach tables by the Tiki Bar which was featuring live music by Cason — who did a terrific job singing covers of some not-so-easy popular songs. She was accompanied by a fabulous new — very young — violen player named Dalton. GO Dalton! Later a Reggae band took the stage for the evening. Our 1st server of the afternoon was Elwin who suggested some very delicious options. I choose the Shrimp & Grits while Hubby ordered the Pork Sliders on Pretzel Rolls. Elwin suggested wonderfully! It was so YUMMY! It takes someone with skill to get grits just right & these were perfection! Not instant quick grits — real southern style true grits! I was in foodie heaven! The shrimp were jumbo & plentiful. Hubby’s Pork Sliders were piled high w pulled pork & lots of Fries. The pork was very juicy & seasoned just so. The beer was ice cold and went down way to easily! Later Elwin introduced us to Danica who wld be taking over — see we arrived @2ish intending to have a drink & light meal, check the place out & be on our way — however we lounged about until after 6! We were having the most fantastic & relaxing time! The beautiful ocean view, light sea breeze, fresh ocean air & great music was so enjoyable — time just got away from us! It was a delightful afternoon, we can’t wait to go back, stick out toes in the sand & enjoy! A must visit on Amelia Island!
