Awful service. If you want to wait half an hour for some fast food chicken then this is the place for you. Been here 3 times and it’s always the same story. Out of this, 5 minutes for that, no tea or deserts.

Not impressed. This was the second time I have been to this location both times were through the drive-thru. The first time it was over five minutes to order and another 10 to receive the order. There were only two cars in front of me. The second time I came here I pulled right up to the drive-thru order station and was told please wait while I Fullfill someone else’s order. 10 minutes later I said hello? And she told me she was the only one here and she could only do so many things at once. Unfortunately for them they lost my business for good and I drove out of the drive thru to the next chicken place A block away. Got my food And was out of the drive-thru within five minutes. Management needs to take a hard look at this location or maybe work a shift themselves if everyone is only there by themselves.

I have honestly never been here when there wasn’t an issue. They are always out of something or the person taking your order is «the only person working». Honestly, how does a chicken place run out of chicken? I keep thinking maybe the service will get better, but am disappointed every time. Never again. Don’t waste your time!

I decided to write my first review on Unilocal for this Popeyes location. If you decide to go thru the drive-thru, make sure you have 20 minutes to spare. You are greeted by someone with a terrible attitude and after you take your order, 9 times out of 10 you have to pull forward to wait on your food. So I pulled forward a couple weeks ago and started my timer. 14 minutes.(Notice I knew to pull out my timer because this has happened regularly). I love the food at Popeyes, so occasionally I regretfully find myself going back. The final straw took place on Easter. I get to the drive thru and I wait to take my order. I wait. I wait some more. Cars were lining up behind me and people started to back out and leave. I waited 13 minutes in all then I pulled away and marched inside. Everybody was just sitting in the kitchen and having a good time. I explained how they lost a lot of business and the manager was fairly nice and apologetic. So I then ordered food which she discounted. After all this, I figured they would get my order right. Nope. That was it. I’m not usually one to write off a restaurant due to one bad experience, but when(for the past 4 months) it’s something similar every single visit, I’m done. There’s a reason this has such bad reviews on here and Google.

Absolutely horrible customer service. As i was approaching the main entrance doors, i noticed an employee blocking one side with a lit cigarette in his mouth. Next, the manager took our order at the counter and was very unprofessional as well as ZERO customer service abilities. She was very monotone and seemed like she did not care about her job or the people she was serving. The food order was wrong with forgotten items several times. Also, when asked for the forgotten items it was like i was inconveniencing her. Also told that the diet coke was out and found out that it was not, the manager was too lazy to get it for me behind the counter. Their coke and diet coke was not working in their machine in the lobby. Overall bad experience and most likely will not return.

This location is either hot or cold. I love Popeyes chicken and was excited to see a location come close to home. The first few visits they were on top of things. The downside began the night my husband went through the drive through only to open the order at home and find that they did not include the chicken. He called and was told his whole order would be replaced. He was only given chicken that tasted like it had been sitting. He ‘enjoyed’ his chicken with cold sides that night. The service is often slow and the orders are wrong. It is like they don’t want to work unless they are being watched by a manager. Employees are not always the friendliest. If you visit this location check your order right away and be prepared for a wait. Somedays the chicken is good, others it is not.

This place is awful I went for lunch one day after work I went through the drive thru I ordered a combo and the lady over filled the cup of soda so it spilled on me and my car so I knocked on the window to get help only to be ignored by 3 separate people one of which I believe was the manager finally when I was helped she gave me 2 napkins no apology was given. I called corporate to complain nothing was done and no apology was given. I won’t be back.

This is the second time I’ve attempted this location, and it will be the last. For starters, the staff is completely standoffish and unfriendly. Their indifference and carelessness immediately invoke feelings of discouragement and regret, and leave customers feeling that choosing Popeyes, more specifically this location, was a mistake. This feeling plagued both of my experiences. My first visit started with me being immediately greeted and asked to wait a moment before placing my order as they were a little backed up, which is typical during peak hours. Of course, I had already been waiting 5 minutes for the car in front of me to get their opportunity to order as they had also been asked to wait. However, after an additional 7 to 10 minutes, with no communication from the drive-thru attendant, it was clear that I needed to find nourishment elsewhere. I understand being backed up, as I realize it takes time to bread and fry chicken, but zero acknowledgment or communication about this after the initial greeting is just plain poor customer service. I returned today to give them another chance, and experienced the same malaise of a less than energetic staff. Her question regarding my interest in their current special was lifeless and monotone, causing it to be indiscernible. Naturally, I declined. She asked that I continue with my order, although I’m certain she didn’t care either way. I began placing my order, and she quickly interrupted me to tell me that they were out of this item. I asked if they were out of a specific ingredient or if it was possible to make substitutions, checking to see what options I had. She responded with the EXACT same statement, and completely disregarded all of my questions. Confused, I decided it was best I take my business elsewhere, thank her, and drove off. This caliber of service is absolutely ridiculous, and an extreme disservice to the Popeyes brand. It is similar service that caused the Bagger Dave’s, just down the road, to close their doors only months after opening. Myself, nor customers in this area, will tolerate such poor performance, and I can’t imagine that this location will be around for very much longer at this rate. Zaxby’s and KFC are just down the road, and I will be taking my business there moving forward. I would encourage other Unilocalers and Popeyes fans alike to do the same. This type of service should not be rewarded with future business.

Unfriendly staff. Slow service. Not worth the one I gave them. Food was gross shrimp was dry and most likely sat in the warmer way too long. Tenders were small almost like they were the leftovers or broken ones. Mash potatoes were water down and tasteless.

Okay, the store manager contact me directly and made things right. I went back this weekend and the chicken was available right away. The service was quick and the chicken was tasty. I only wish I had this the first time. After the second visit I probably will go back in the future. Thank you for making it right.

My favorite fast food chicken. Service was slow when they opened and I waited 25 minutes when I was there last week because they ran out of cooked chicken. 4 employees during peak hours. Hopefully the franchise hires some management that can pull their service together.

So I went here with my parents a couple of days ago. Only been here once before(well this location I should say). My mother called it that it was going to be a bad experience when we walked in due to the gaggle of people waiting for their food. Her foresight was spot on. My mother wanted mild chicken tenders. Mashed potatoes without gravy. I wanted two piece mild chicken with mashed potatoes with gravy. My father wanted spicy wings and Cole slaw What did we get? Spicy chicken tenders. Two mashed potatoes with gravy. They were out of wings so they just gave us a four piece mild chicken and a six piece mild chicken. And then Cole slaw. The only thing that was right. And yes, you read that right, they were out of wings. The poor guy before us didn’t fair much better as he came back in because he was missing biscuits and they insisted on continuing to call him Lou instead of Li which he had corrected when he grabbed his food in the first place. It was definitely an odd experience. The service was sketch at best. Food was good though

This location is a little slow but not anything out of the ordinary for the fast food places in the area. Food has been delicious and if I ever had a problem, Melissa has handed it very professional and fast.

Poorly ran. Employees completely unsanitary and apathetic. Touching their heads and faces while boxing food. Removing their hats over opened food containers. «Threatening» to walk out on the job. Manager was meek and completely non effective. Actually sweeping the booths while all the chaos is going on in the kitchen and serving area. Observed all this in the 10 – 15 minutes I waited for our meal. If you decide to go here, make sure you watch how they prep and bag your food. Dare not go through the drive thru. I was completely disgusted and refused the 50% of next visit coupon. Got a refund and not looking back.

Very clean and modern looking Popeye’s. Had no idea it was here until I drove by. There was nothing wrong with the food other than it wasn’t what I ordered… specifically said a fish and shrimp combo and they rang me up for(and fulfilled) a Cajun fish combo. So yeah… definitely need some work at this location still but no issues with fresh or timely food. And everyone was exceptionally polite and friendly.
