This restaurant has a weird cold environment. It is not very welcoming and the staff are not very friendly. The restaurant was half full and there were people just standing around. They are slow to order and slow to refill while at half capacity. Would not recommend to anyone l.

Consistent breakfast food. If you want cherry crepes this is the place. Nice healthy variety but not much stands out and service is spotty.

Had breakfast here with my family. They quickly sat our large party in a private area and began service immediately, no wait. The food was amazing! I ordered the apple pancake. OMG, it was out of this world… blew me away. It’s the size of a manhole cover and is more of a pie than a pancake. I split it and shared it with three people and still was full. Unbelievable! Everybody was very happy with their food, the service was great, the prices were very reasonable. You can’t go wrong at this place.

The food was very nasty but they did manage to prepare it quickly. Sausage tasted plastic and pancakes where all about size no good tasting quality. The eggs are bland. Bad experience I choose Waffle House over this establishment anyday. This place is also crowded daily so don’t expect to pop in and out. But the food is a waste of money !!!

Luv this place. Pancakes of all stripes. My wife loves the cherry crepes. Today I had the early bird special with two eggs cooked to order and half an order of bacon. As it comes with a short stack of buttermilk cakes, I upgraded to my favorite, the potato pancakes — a real German style treat of which I’m a huge fan. They come with sour cream and chunky applesauce. I ask for no sour cream and double applesauce. Never a problem with special requests. The bottomless coffee is very good — and I’m finicky about a cuppa Joe. Staff are pleasant and efficient. We’re frequent flyers here so they know us as ‘regulars’.

Wonderful restaurant, especially for breakfast and brunch. Great selection, good food, good service. Many wonderful things yet to try! Especially enjoy the pumpkin pancakes. Would also enjoy if they did seasonal offerings at other times of the year as well. One of our favorite places to go!

This place will definitely stuff you. A girlfriend and I got our nails done after working out one Saturday morning then decided we were hungry. Lo and behold… pancakes! Me: Coffee(Not great, but I still think it tastes better than the crap I drink at work. You’ve ruined me GMC.) | Dutch Baby(Good to try but very doubtful I would get again, as I prefer something more.) | Side of Sausage Patties(It was almost $ 5 for two patties. Yikes!) Friend: Tea | Bacon, Eggs, Banana Pancakes, & Potatoes Service was good and the food is decent. It’s certainly a treat to have it. Just a little pricey for the type of food. Our meal including tip was $ 38.

Mrs Mysterious and myself have been visiting here for about 10 years now and they continual to hold true on a few things. First, they are always busing during the weekend. Second, they have huge servings. And third, their bacon is the best that I’ve ever had in a restaurant. We have tried just about everything on the menu from the pancakes, to the omelettes, to normal bacon and eggs. You really can’t go wrong with anything you order. A lot of times we will order an omelette and some pancakes and split the two meals so that we get some of each. Oh, and of course we get a few sides of bacon. I’m yet to ever finish the apple pancake, someday my friends… someday. Some unique things… they serve ice water when you sit down, it reminds me of my childhood. They also que you in to your seat, so you wait in line and when a seat opens up they take the next in line. Different than most places, but I kind of like it since you always know how long until you are going to get seated.

My husband and I came here for the first time this week and we liked it a lot! We each got an omelet and they are huge! We were pleasantly surprised when we each got pancakes with our omelets because apparently anything ordered with eggs gets pancakes too. Lovely surprise! The service was good, and we also thought the price was good. We have only been there once, so not much experience but we’ll be back!

It was ok. I got the eggs Benedict and they were good, but nothing special. My husband for a breakfast special with pancakes and didn’t enjoy his that much either. I didn’t really enjoy the potato pancakes. Very greasy and not much flavor. Our server was very friendly and helpful even with the place being very full. All I all for that price I wouldn’t go back.

We’ve been here with the family quite a few times but after our last two experiences we won’t be back. The service is just simply awful. The wait staff as well as management don’t seem to be concerned with delivering good service which is sad because the food is very good.

I adore breakfast food and they’re right down the street from us. I always get pancakes of some sort, pecan, pumpkin, banana and bacon are all delicious. The side of bacon is quite good, but rather expensive. Almost $ 5 for 4 slices. Service is normally decent and fast, especially considering how busy they always are. If you’re going on a weekend, get there early. There’s always a big line!

This place is great. I love the 49er flap jacks. Service was fantastic. Daniellea, I think that is how she spells her name, refilled my coffee constantly. Great server.

Sometimes staffs make the difference. At our first visit, waitress was so nice that we decided to come again but this time we got a rude waiter who had a hard time in understanding that this restaurant had a free refill for coffee. Restaurant is amazing with wide range of pancakes and sandwiches. UPDATE: Overall this restaurant is great.

Hey, this place is A-OK in my book. I remember it being pricey when I took our family here a few months ago. Now, kids eat free I believe so the last time we went, it was very affordable. Our food has always been good maybe not gourmet breakfast but certainly better than Waffle House or IHOP. We will be coming here often. They move the line along and do a good job of waiting tables quickly without making you feel rushed. Sure the location could be bigger, but the fact that it’s always packed should be a good indicator that this place is worth waiting for.

Fair warning, if you come here on Saturday or Sunday morning, this place can get packed. Also, from 8:00 am — 1:00PM, if your whole party isn’t there, don’t expected to be seated until they all arrive. This is one of my go to places when I don’t feel like cooking my own pancakes. One of the nice things about the Original Pancake House is that they do offer gluten free pancakes, and there really isn’t an up charge for them. They are some of the thickest pancakes that have found and the taste really isn’t that bad. Too make sure that your pancakes are GF, they have a special plate. It looks like the regular plate, but there is black or blue edging around it. One of the things that I love/hate about this place is their bacon. Yes it is good and when you order a side of it you get 4 pieces, but expect to be charged $ 4.45 for it. Overall, this is a nice place to get some GF pancakes when you don’t feel like cooking.
