Native Grill & Wings

Stopped here with the family. We were seated quickly and our drink order was prompt. The menu seemed to look a lot like Buffalo Wild Wings. I ordered 4 kinds of wings just to try them out. When they came out they were not labeled so it was a guessing game. My son ended up grabbing a super hot type thinking he was getting the BBQ. Anyway my wife got the pork sliders and they were good. Overall we had a good experience except for trying to leave. We were done long before he gave us the check and it took 10 minutes to get my card and receipt back. I do not like my card being gone that long. I may go back again but not if there is a Buffalo Wild Wings around.

This is our second visit. We love the menu here and the atmosphere. We’ll be back. Unilocal is yelling at me that my post is too short so I’ll just put this right here. Go Pack Go!

The calzones are trash. Actually every time I eat here the food is trash. Cool ambience though.

This place is great — one of my favorite sports bars ever. I love the cold beer in chilled glasses, hot Asiago wings, and fried zucchini with jalapeño ranch sauce… Cocktails are consistently delicious — with high quality ingredients. The staff is super friendly. And will almost always accommodate your game/​event request.

My husband and I had the pleasure of visiting Native a Grill & Wings while in Flagstaff and I just had to write about our wonderful experience! We were taken care of by the sweetest young lady named Chloe and she made it a very enjoyable visit! You could tell she loves her job and she’s very good at it. She had the biggest smile on her face the whole time:)!The food was excellent and I loved the restaurant but having Chloe serve us really made the difference! I wish more servers had her positive outgoing demeanor… it truly makes the meal the best! If we come back to Flagstaff, we’ll be stopping in and asking for Chloe!

Bree was such a wonderful waitress. She was attentive, personable, and passionate about her work! She seemed to know her menu very well, and gave us great suggestions. The food she served me was exactly what I ordered, even though I made several special requests! We would definitely come back again and request Bree to be our waitress!

My fiancé and I decided to have a date night in and ordered for delivery. We choose the Play Two item for a total of $ 40 with delivery charge. Our order was placed at 7:59 pm and were told that it would be 45 minutes to an hour until the food arrived. We just received our order at 9:48pm. It was 48 minutes passed when we were supposed to receive our food so I called the restaurant to speak with the manager (her name was Jennifer). Jennifer informed us that there was nothing she could do about our order being almost an hour late and offered me $ 5 off our next order. We will NOT be ordering from here again. Buffalo Wild Wings is right in the area.

Worst service ever. Had to get own plates, ask for water for multiple times, waitress worst than ever. I’ve never been to a Resturant worst than this one. They don’t care about service!!! If you want service you may have to serve your self. Ok food but needs to train servers.

Salt and vinegar, one wing had some flavor on one side, the rest had literally no flavoring as they had almost no rub. I can tell the cook threw the wings on a plate, grabbed a pinch of rub and there it on the middle, only the middle wing had any flavor. See my pics, it’s the one of the salt and vinegar wings with no salt and vinegar, but they still called then salt and vinegar.
I know a lazy cook when I see one. I can’t believe the cook/​manager/​server actually all allowed this to pass on to me. When I said something about the lack of rub, she offered to give me a side. EVERYONE KNOWS RUBS DONT STICK UNLESS THR WINGS ARE WET.
Worst off. I called Native headquarters once and emailed them. Never got an email response. Received a phone call from them yesterday and missed it. No message left. Am waiting for them to call again.
I bet they won’t call, they don’t care about customer satisfaction. THEY DO NOT KNOW HOW TO DO WINGA

Giving five stars because of how great this place was the last time I went, during a nfl playoff game. They got us seated before the game started (a shocker because we were expecting to wait at least another hour) and took great care of our large group of ridiculous and obnoxious college students. Biggest complaint was not getting enough refills, but hey, it happens.

Stopped in to watch the Cardinals vs Panthers Sunday as I was passing through town. I was lucky enough to grab 2 seats at the bar for me and my wife as the 1^st games were ending. They didn’t bat an eye to honor my «check in» free 6 wings! Ordered beers throughout the game and more wings at halftime. Our bartender Cloe was awesome! On the spot attentive, friendly and talkative! Even gave us suggestions for breakfast in the morning around Flag. In a crazy packed house with trash talking Cardinal fans, she made our stay quite pleasant!

As a direct comparison to the other chain wing shop in Flagstaff, Buffalo Wild Wings (BWW), Native Grill & Wings ranks far below in terms of flavor and spice of their wings. The drummets and wings are remarkably larger than what is offered at BWW, with more meat on the bone. However, our order of 24 appeared to have been neglected in the frier for far too long resulting in notable dryness with every bite. The flavors we ordered included habanero mango, honey chipotle, spicy honey, and hot pepper. Spicy chipotle was the biggest disappointment as it literally BBQ sauce, and the others lacked the punch of flavor offered by their competitor.

I am a Native fan, go to the one in Chandler on Gilbert at least 1 to 2 times a week. We went here thinking it would be great, and were left wanting more. The staff is lacking, not very friendly, and not knowledgable of their own menu. The place isn’t that clean and the food came out warm at best.
This is not a location I would go back to. In the two times I have come here, I have been disappointed each time.

Each time I have been here has been great. The staff is friendly snd attentive, food is just how’d you’d expect, and deals are good. Props to Carly [i hope i spelled that right, and Courtney for a great job!

Seriously! still my favorite in flagstaff! Chloe is my favorite! of course Courtney, Megz, Christie, and Karlie are cool too! Jen is an amazing manager too. the place is clean, fun, and just the best place to go to for good food, good drinks and good company. highly recommended!

Service is poor. No Greeter at the door. Came in to pick up phone order. Greeter finally came and went to check on my order. Never saw her for an update for over 15 minutes. It’s not ready give me the heads up.
The food is ok. Not a place I would make a regular outing.
It’s hard to go to a place that service sucks. Doesn’t make the time out a pleasure.

Use to go to Native New Yorker as a kid. Haven’t eaten here in years.

After a long drive, we just wanted to walk to a nearby restaurant for dinner. Hopped on Unilocal,and were less than impressed with our choices. Chose Native Grill based on the pictures and walked over.
Service was friendly. Ordered the dry rubbed chips with salt and vinegar. They arrived, hot, crisp and sprinkled with a tangy salt and vinegar powder. Quite tasty.
For dinner, we tried the crispy chicken sandwich, zucchini from the apps menu, and some individual traditional wings in a variety of sauces: asian garlic, strawberry hot, honey hot, and honey chipotle. Loved the sandwich. Was a bit disappointed with the zucchini. I had been hoping for thick, juicy slices of steaming hot zucchini with a thin batter, but these were a little dry and bready for my taste. The wings were all ok, but in my personal opinion, the honey hot was a lot more honey than hot. The honey chipotle wings, on the other hand were the big winner for me, a little sweet, smoky, and a nice kick of heat. Perfection :)
Husband had a local dark IPA, which he was pleased with. I tried the Rain Drop Martini and the Mango Fusion Punch. Both were your basic fruity beverages, not terribly strong, but sweet and refreshing. I personally enjoyed the punch more than the martini.
Overall, a better experience than I was expecting from the Unilocal rating. It seems that there have recently been changes to the name of the restaurant and the menu. Perhaps these changes are for the best?

I’ve eaten here twice. Both times the food was good but a little pricy for the portion sizes.
The first time we went I got the spicy honey mustard chicken sandwich. It was good but there was almost too much sauce as the bun became very soggy and it was hard to keep the toppings inside of it. The fries are good but as I said earlier the portions were a bit small. We also had the mozzarella sticks for an appetizer. They were decent but I thought the marinara sauce was too chunky.
The second meal I had was boneless chicken wings. These were good! I got the sauces on the side so I could try different flavors. It came with coleslaw which was just… eh.
Overall a good casual place to eat, very similar to an Applebee’s.
Service was friendly and quick both times.
