I went to a class on Groupon Tuesday night and it was great tasting all the different wines while nom-ing on cheese, crackers, and grapes. The instructor really knew his stuff, but I wish that I had a pen with me to take some notes lol.

We’ve been here twice for a wine dinner with Ben Starr, one of our favorite local chefs. He’s the reason that we trekked far into the suburbs to a wine store. The dinners were amazing, as his always are. I’m also impressed with the store. They have a nice selection, which is grouped by taste. They also have some decent beers(my boyfriend the beer snob is always able to find something he hasn’t had before), although the beers are somewhat overpriced. They have some nice gift and accessory purchases as well. I’ve spoken to several people who are members of their wine club, which sounds like a fantastic deal. I’d join if I lived closer — you pay to join and then get wine each month and discounts on wine and events. It’s a great way to try out different wine that you otherwise wouldn’t try. Whenever we’ve been there the staff have always been extremely nice and helpful.

Not for wine tasting at all… they were doing beer tastings when we got there and had 2 of my least favorite wines open to try

We’ve been Wine Styles Club members for over 10 years! In fact we love the store so much we purchased the business in May 2013!(so I’m updating my review). As an upscale wine boutique, I like that it takes all the work out of choosing affordable wines that taste good. We’ve never had a bad bottle yet, we love their selections. The weekly wine tastings are really fun and we always run into friends. Well worth the membership for better wines and good prices, and great service. I don’t have time to study wine, I just want to drink it. :) Even though we now own the store, we are still Wine Club members, that is the best part of WineStyles!

Good wine selection, and a great wine cub for a good price. They have free wine tastings every Friday and almost always have a good selection. Some times the wine they pick for the tasting is just ok, but overall a good place.

The wines here tend to be more towards the moderate end of the scale(i.e. $ 20 per bottle and up) but there are other selections that are a bit more moderate. You’ll find a good range of styles, and producers that aren’t just giant industrial wine producers. We bought 2 very good bottles of Pinot Noir for Thanksgiving. They also let you do a mix/match of artisanal beers in a six pack. The sun really beats through that front window, landing right on the fine selection of Vosges and other specialty chocolates. That seems problematic — it’s a westward facing window! Friendly owners on hand to help.

Good selection on wines for a midwestern neighborhood wine store. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly. I joined their wine club. We’ll see how it goes.

Still the best place to go for wine tastings on Thursday in the FloMo and Highland Village. I like having this store here to find wines that you can’t find at the local grocery store or at Costco.
