I used to come here all the time during the summer. The honeydew bubble tea… so good(I’m like drooling now). However, they stopped selling so I stopped coming :( Their pastries were pretty good but not enough to make me drive all the way to Flushing for.

Dark, dingy, dirty, and cold. I will not be back. Plenty of other coffeeshops around.

This place is a little funny… The crowd inside is a strange mix of asian high school students, older korean men recovering from their night of drinking, and random ladies waiting for the bus, a ride, their friends… or just killing time? The seats aren’t comfortable, their pastries are all equally not good, and the coffee is borderline. Their service is nice but aside from that, I avoid this place… sadly :( Cash only!

Oh how I love this place! I try to go at least once a week, I’m not a huge fan of bubble tea but this place makes it my fav drink(they know my order — mocha bubble tea haha). I like the environment, and I like the music they play too and the staff are really cool and laid back. I also finally caved in and tried their corn bread, not too bad! After eating store/bakery bought cb once I decided that people up here were horrible at making c. bread(I’m from Kentucky so yeah)…they made me think otherwise :-) The only thing missing is a tv to watch K dramas haha, but honestly this place is pretty cool and I suggest people check it out if/when you get the chance(I recommend the mocha bubble tea and for hot drinks, their Ginger tea yum yum!).

The coffee is quite good and the pastries are fresh and unique(one time they had«ugly cookie» for sale; I still regret to this day for not buying that cookie…) I also can’t help but laugh at the carefully handwritten sign«no refills!» in korean and english. If it was that serious, move the coffee canisters behind the counter. It was a nice stop-over after a gastronomic battle at Hahm Ji Bach(oh to be reborn Korean and eat pork BBQ everyday and not gain a pound). The ambience is lacking though: carelessly strewn chairs and tables, poor lighting and an almost Communist control over coffee pours and toilet privileges(you must buy something or you will be shot!). Now if they took some décor pointers from the k-drama Coffee Prince… well, I might just have to move to Flushing.

Wow Anderson, do you suck. Not only do you have rude staff and mislabeled bakery items(it sucks to bite into a pastry thinking it’s tuna filled to find it filled instead with curry), but the guy who used to stalk me every morning on my way to the LIRR is a regular! I do love your fresh mochi though… and I love your convenience(I used to live only a few blocks away)! But there is never ANY parking nearby, if I was to settle for a mediocre Korean pastry fix… and your staff are always just SO rude and ignorant I used to pretend I couldn’t speak Korean just to piss them off.
