Boading has been my go to chinese restaurant for the last year or so. Initially it was hit or miss however I believe that once new management took over things took a turn for the better. I am a huge fan of Boading’s wonton soup, egg foo young, and chicken and broccoli. I always order on grubhub and my food comes fast and hot. They have reasonable lunch specials as well.

Most disgusting fried chicken I ever eaten in my life. The chicken looked okay and while I was eating it I realized that the chicken had a rotten smell, like it was spoiled. They delivered to me via grub hub. Never getting anything from here again. I cannot believe they sent me old chicken. My fingers still stink from it even after washing them several times and the taste is still in my system. P. s my first review on Unilocal in my life. This is how badly I needed to say something about this place.

My mom is a vegetarian so we order their vegetable dishes. Even though I’m not a vegetarian love their vegetable dishes! They are so full of favor. However, it is kinda on the expensive side.

I had their boneless spare ribs and it was pretty good.
I also had their honey walnut shrimp but it was disgusting. It was more shrimp and broccoli with a few walnuts. Do not even try. Waste of money.

I haven’t ordered recently. but this restaurant left such a bad memory for my life that I can’t seem to forget it.
You know. one of those traumatic experiences you have in life where everything around you comes crashing down. Their food is absolute GARBAGE. Unless they’ve changed recently (which I doubt they have), AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS. All high rated reviews ARE FAKE.

Chicken with broccoli! I never want to eat American Chinese food unless I have no choice, but after I tried my coworkers food from this place, I have to say their chicken with broccoli is even better than homemade!
Four stars for their chicken with broccoli, I took one star off because their delivery guy always make you go down to pick up your order. Um. There’s a reason why we have them delivered —because we are not able to step out of the office!

Absolutely the worst chinese restaurant I have ever ordered from. Despite the fact that the restaurant is ~6 mins away, the food took over an hour and a half to arrive. When the food finally did arrive, it was all cold. I ordered the Orange chicken and fried pork dumplings. Everything was absolutely disgusting. The chicken itself was moist and sticky, the rice was too oily, I found a hair in the dumplings, the egg roll was raw, the chicken was cold.
There are plenty of better restaurants available nearby, so don’t settle for this disgusting dump.

As a frequent customer, I love this restaurant! They’re fast at delivering food and it’s really tasty. I would recommend it as a quick and hot meal. Plus, their food selection for a Chinese restaurant is rather large compared to others.

We’ve ordered from here twice, both via Delivery (dot) com. The first time the food was delivered quick, hot, and delicious. They have some dishes not found at most other local Chinese restaurants.
The second delivery took a bit longer, a few minutes short of an hour in fact. Also a soup I ordered wasn’t hot at all upon delivery so I suspect it was sitting for a while. This wasn’t all that big a deal — I’m sure dinner is a busy time for them, but it was noticeable. The other thing was they didn’t include any mustards or sauces we usually expect– which they did the first time and most places do.
Still the food is very good. Probably the best tasting Chinese place we’ve ever ordered from in this neighborhood. I’m a big fan of the sesame wanton appetizer and their hunan beef– especially paired with their Hong Kong Style noodles. Tasted some boneless spare-​ribs as well, also very good. Everyone who ordered enjoyed their dishes.
I was a little surprised to see a large (quart) of White Rice shipped in a flat Styrofoam container rather than the more traditional container Chinese restaurants usually use. Makes it easier to dump some meat or other dish over it, but I suspect it will dry out faster in the refrigerator so suggest you plan to eat it all when it is fresh.

If I could give negative stars, I would.
On top of being 20+ minutes late of the grubhub delivery estimate, Baoding managed to serve up the most miserably awful food I have ever eaten in my whole life, including instant and fast food (and possible MREs).
My husband and I took a few bites, looked at each other, and promptly threw everything away.

I will definitely be ordering from here again. The man on the phone spoke perfect English and was very helpful, the delivery was fast and friendly, and the food was delicious!

How should I start? Do NOT order from here. Let me repeat this warning, Do NOT order from here.
First, I ordered around 12pm online (eat24… Thumbs up for eat24 customer service) so I paid with credit card. The order came an hour later, understandable since I am 2 miles away. The only positive thing about this place is the delivery guy, he’s a very friendly guy whose always smiling. Then comes all the bad. I ordered two dishes, boneless ribs with fish and tofu soup and shrimp with lobster sauce with chicken corn soup, I was missing my boneless rib and I received egg drop soup instead of my chicken soup. Therefore, I called the place and a lady picked up who doesn’t speak much English. She offered me a free boneless rib next time I order because she did not give me my order. So I was fine with that. I called around 3 so that I could pick up my free boneless rib. My friend went to pick it up for me because there is no parking around the area and again, the lady charged him $ 7.25! Therefore I paid double for one order. I called the lady and she said she forgot and she will give me another free boneless rib. Maybe, that is her famous line. She bluntly hung up after I asked for my money back.
As for the food, the portions are smaller than most places. There are better Chinese food places out there.

Let’s not forget what customer service means. Delivery Woman was BELOW sub par. She was plain old rude. Rude to the max. She came to deliver a $ 6 meal to our office. Lunch was my coworker’s order (coworker went to bathroom), so I offered to pay with my own money first. However I was on a office call for work on the front desk, and the delivery woman consistently tapped on the counter really hard and impatiently (equivalent to banging on the table with her fists). I got irritated and gave her a $ 20 bill for a $ 6 meal after being hustled by a mad woman. She said «no change?» I was like «Yes, change» She takes my money outside, did not give me change. So I ran outside after her, and heard her tell the Chinese guy in the car that Im a moron for wanting change. Yes, Im Chinese and I understand you perfectly, lady. She gave me TEN DOLLARS back when I gave her $ 20 for a $ 6 meal. WHAT IN THE WORLD. I said GIVE ME FOURTEEN. The guy in the car was nice, cordial… gave me $ 14 back and I tipped them $ 1 unwillingly. I think it is safe to say that I will never order from this place again.

I have been living in New York for 12 years already, and in my brain, there are three unforgettable chinese Restaurants — one in Little Neck, one in Bayside (they are gone, though), and this one in flushing.
This place has by far the best hunan beef, my favorite chinese dish. They also have the best general tso’s tofu. Not many have this dish. Unlike many other chinese stores, they also accept major credit cards (WOOT? CHINESE ACCEPTING CC? OMG)
Their delivery speed is like, awesome, I call and order, drink a cup of water, and boom — I get my phone call and they say, «BAODING~~~». I walk out, and that same chinese gentleman is there smiling at me. This happens all in 6 minutes.
… well, sometimes they have deliveries queued up so much, that it comes an hour later. OH WELL. that just proves that they are awesome and everybody want some baoding’s chinese stuff. GET YOUR CHINESE HERE
