I came in for full body massage and foot reflexology. It wasn’t «relaxing» in the way Western spas are. It was rather painful, but that may help with releasing the tensions, so I went with it. But I still have my knots and crinks now … I was there earlier today. I thought foot reflexology was $ 18 and body massage was $ 30. Why was I charged $ 55? I just realized this after the fact. On top of that, I tipped them very generously, but the guy doing the money transaction didn’t seem happy or grateful? Ooookaaay… so, not only was I overcharged, I was made to feel like my gratuities weren’t enough?(and I absolutely know it was more than enough) Btw, the 55 was just punched in a calculator and shown to me because they didn’t know how to say it. The body massage was okay… a lot of elbow techniques. so it was at times painful. She brought the hot stones out and used that a bit, too. She will leave the room to answer the phone(briefly)…Overall, mediocre. The foot reflexology was the same. Painful at times, relieving at times… Overall, no wow factor here… they could’ve overcompensated In customer service, but even that was lacking. Would I go back or recommend? No. It was just an experience… Moving on.

The name of this parlor, «Taiwan Massage,» is misleading. I have been to Taiwan, and this location, owned and operated by Mainland Chinese, is by no means a high-quality Taiwan-style massage parlor. I gave two stars instead of one for the masseuse’s effort, but management is disgusting. Stopped by recently for a one-hour foot massage, figuring the«special» price of $ 18.00/hour before 2:00 pm was worth a shot. The masseuse was hard-working and tried his best, but his thumb nail kept digging into my foot, and I nearly left after 45 minutes. It was not a comfortable massage. I considered giving a $ 4.00 tip but only had a $ 5.00 bill, so rather than ask for change, I handed the masseuse the bill, thinking this was a generous tip for an uncomfortable foot massage. I was then abruptly stopped by the manager on duty, who demanded that I give the man a whopping $ 10.00 tip – for an $ 18.00 bill! That would have been over 50%! The fact that workers are not being compensated fairly for their time should not be the customer’s problem. The manager pointed to the sign, «Suggested tip: $ 10.00.» I reminded her that it is a «suggested» tip, that I am not singularly wealthy, and felt that $ 5.00 was a very generous tip before walking out. Needless to say, I will not be returning. Caution: check beforehand if there is an absurd sign like this. If there is, consider taking your business elsewhere.

It will do. It does have a Buy 10 get 2 Free deal but here is the problem I had with it. The first time I went, it was fantastic. She really paid attention to what I mentioned was a problem of my back. Then the second time I went, it was seriously lacking. Alice was the one who handled money and answered phones and by the way, she will also do your massage while answering phones and sticking her head and upper body out of the door to handle money while you are naked with a towel covering you faced down on the massage table. That left me so disappointed that I will go down the street to their main competitors. It is ok but not stellar and not awesome. It’s good enough.
