Fun place to go and be with friends. Friday nights are a little slow with older music playing. Saturday nights are always fun and the dance floor is packed. Love all the outdoor seating. You can also walk through the hall and head over to the Power House Hub and check out the band playing and enjoy the cool décor they have going on.

This bar is fun on the weekend and for happy hour(they have über affordable cocktail specials). You get access to powerhouse pub from the strip and can order food from Chicago Fire next door. Enjoy seating indoors in their dimly lit main bar or outside under heat lamps and watch people walk the main drag. You’ll definitely be able to hear the music from Powerhouse without losing your hearing. This is a great place for an intimate date(you’re sure to meet some crazy characters to liven your night) or a group setting. One downside, I struggle to know when they are open or not. I’ve walked by before and it seems closed at odd times when other bars are open.

Okay, let me start by saying that this is actually a really fun place to go. Good crowd(a bit too crowded, but I went on NYE), good music, and I love the direct access to Powerhouse! Now, let me tell you why I gave it one star. I was wearing a new jacket(nothing special, but new nonetheless), and I was impressed and pleased when my sister told me that the bartender, Joel Warn, would let me leave my jacket behind the bar for«safekeeping». At the end of the night, I asked Joel to please retrieve it for me. He then proceeded to hand me someone else’s jacket. Mind you, it was somewhat similar(black pleather), but it was NOT my jacket. I let Joel know that the jacket was not mine. He INSISTED that this was the jacket that my sister gave him… obviously it wasn’t, because it WASNOTMYJACKET! He just kept insisting that it was the same jacket! WTF?!! Then, now this is my favorite part, he had the nerve to say, «I don’t give people other people’s jackets!» What? So I said, «Um, that’s EXACTLY what you’re doing right now! You’re giving ME someone else’s jacket!» And that’s about when he let his bouncers handle the situation by physically removing me from the bar. All he had to do was simply apologize, admit that my jacket was probably given to someone else by mistake(possibly by another bartender), and that would’ve been the end of it; hey mistakes happen. But Joel Warn has too big of an ego to ever admit that and would rather throw a fit like an immature child. Just like he insisted that my friend didn’t have an open tab and that he didn’t have her credit card, although she was sure she had given it to him. Well, she called the next day, and sure enough, her card was there… but my jacket is still MIA. Oh, and if you happen to be the person he gave my jacket to, please let me know. Thanks

First off I don’t drink. I am how ever a designated driver for friends. My friend and I were at powerhouse last night. About 1:30 am powerhouse closed and. Told everyone to go to scarlets. My friend was in bathroom. They made him leave out the front of powerhouse. I was waiting at scarlets for him. He went to his car looking for me. Saw my text, grabbed his red bull out of car and walked up to scarlets and asked if they could tell me to come out. The security stole his red bull. Told him he couldn’t leave with it. At that point I had already noticed him and went to the exit. He took his red bull back and started to leave bar. The security tackled him and started choking him. I approached and told the security guard to let him go. He didn’t listen. It wasn’t until I told them I was sober watched the whole thing, and that they were out of line that they released him. They should have never put there hands on him. He wasn’t hurting any one. Was no threat at all. I will be going back in on Friday morning to talk to Owner and file a complaint. You don’t treat your customers that way. They threw him to the ground and choked him. They also embarrassed him. He is a third degree black belt. If he was causing trouble that security guard would have been knocked out. He didn’t resist. He didn’t touch them or any one else. He was not causing a seen. The most important part was they weren’t paying attention and refused to listen that he brought the red bull there. I say they have a law suit on their hands. Security guards do not have the right to touch you unless it is warranted. If you decided to go to this establishment be aware the security is looking for a fight and will jump on any chance to be violent. There was three other security guards there. They didn’t step in or stop this violent jerk from assaulting there customers!

I enjoy going here a little early on a Saturday before the crowd arrives and ordering pizza from chicago fire on the cool pizza phone they have by the bar. It’s fun to sit on the patio and people watch while we eat and drink. I go here at least once a month.

Kind of like a small club as the night goes on. Cocktail server girls come around too to take your order, always so friendly! If you don’t want to go up to the bar for your drinks. Next door is powerhouse that you can walk right into if u want a calmer feel and they have live music. Also a hookah bar attached. Really unique cool place, I always have fun dancing the night away, listening to music, or just hanging out w my friends.

Always a great time! My girls and I have had many a GNO here. Dance floor always packed, patrons usually cool, bathroom line ridiculous, but that’s being a girl for ya. This is the only club that I always end up wasted beyond belief, but still manage to just keep on dancing and having the best time.

Great one last night! I arrived around 9pm and it was already crackin! They had multiple room one with a live band and a few with great dj’s! Drinks weren’t too much $$$ and the bartenders were great! Dancing was blast and I enjoyed the fact I could go outside to get away and there were heaters on the patio. They have a Hooka spot although I did use it at all. The band was great I loved listening to them play and Dj SugaBear killed it with the music! I will be back for sure!

If I could, I would give this establishment 0 stars. I heard that Scarlet’s used to be this outdoor bar with a nice patio that you could go and enjoy a cocktail at… that is apparently no more. I just turned 21 and visited Scarlet’s for the first time last Friday; it sure was a culture shock! It is connected to PowerHouse Pub, which I had a blast at! PowerHouse had a live band and some dancing and tons of room to move around in. When we migrated over to Scarlet’s side, I just about wanted to throw up. The FIRST thing I saw when I turned the corner were to people«grinding» so hard and nasty that I’m pretty sure they were actually doing the nasty! The bar was very small and you had to PUSH through the GIANT mob of sloppy, drunk people dancing just to get a drink! And I’m not talking normal dancing — this dance floor looked more like a giant orgy… Scarlet’s is just PURELYGROSS and I will NEVER go back there. I am extremely shocked that an establishment like that is even in Folsom. My boots were way too nice to be in such a raunchy sh*thole. Lol.

Want a hand crafted drink? Have Joel or Omar make you one of their specialties! Sit at the bar if it isn’t too crowded or take it outside if the weather is nice. Music starts to kick in loud about nine.

Ever since Yager’s closed, and then re-opened and closed again, Scarlet’s is pretty much my only choice for«clubbing»(in quotes because it’s really only faux-clubbing) in Folsom, and it’s pretty sad when the only club choice you have completely closes down before 1:30 on a very, very busy Saturday night. I get mad at Faces for turning off the music at 1:50, but 1:20? Really though? Really? Rude. I paid $ 12 for this. Okay, fine, I didn’t even bring money, but that guy with the glasses and the very-ironed button-down paid $ 12 for each of us, for this. The up-side to Scarlet’s is that on a good night, the dance floor can feel just like any of the clubs downtown, but with decidedly more bros and those girls that like bros. And, let’s just be real, given the alternates, this is a pretty good place for a curvy girl to get some attention, if that’s what you’re out for, and probably even if you’re not. Last time I came with someone who I was«together» with, he complained that a bunch of dudes were trying to dance with me while I was already«clearly» spoken for. That guy said the word«clearly» a lot. Anyways, the drinks are pretty decent, but not cheap, and the bathrooms are generally pretty decent. I’ve found that it’s usually faster to find an abandoned bathroom on the outskirts of the building than to wait for the main one in the hallway. The staff is generally rude, and often charges different covers on different sides of the building(for those who don’t know, Scarlet’s and Powerhouse are connected, and once you’re in one, you’re in both). They do have some decent deals for reserving tables for special occasions, but if you do, make sure to arrive completely sober. In my experience, of anywhere I’ve ever been, this is one of the toughest places to get in while intoxicated. They’re very, very strict about that. Once I had a table reserved for ten people for my birthday, and I pre-gamed, and everyone else was sober, and they wouldn’t let any of us in. So… either don’t do that, or find a better club.

Great out door patio. The drinks are reasonable, especially in comparison to San Francisco. Omar behind the bar is the best bartender they have. Super nice guy and gets you your order fast. But sometimes the people there can get really annoying. Fair warning.

Freakin Funky Fun. This place is tiny, but jam packed with atmosphere, friendliness, and good time. The downside is that service is slow no matter how crowded they are(or not). It’s like the bartenders are given a dating manual that says, «The longer you make them wait, the more they’ll want you. Don’t serve them right away.» News flash: Not all guys are like that. Anyway, the music is always fun, Hard to believe how many people they can get on the dance floor. The place flows out onto the patio, which comfortable and great for talking 1 – 1 or in groups. They share a hallway and bathrooms with Powerhouse Pub. One cover gets you into both.

The Good: Awesome venue for localish bands The Bad: The bad makes this place good so it works out The UGLY: realizing the Duran Duran over 50 cover band is kinda hot My first impression of this place was«damn this place is dirty» and then it was like a magical land because every weird item became part of the charm. For example, a rhino head. What the eff, is that real? It better not be. Yet it is there with its own pieces of «flare» there is also undergarments hanging from certain places. Yet all these eclectic items make this place that much cooler. First time I was here I saw Wooster from Santa Cruz and last time I saw the Duran Duran cover band. Cannot beat that. I also saw one of the greatest Beatboxers ever, fully decked out in vans and a hamburgler type shirt. Did not expect the noises to come out of that dudes mouth. All in all I really adore this place. When I go to Folsom and Scarlets is on the menu, I know I am down for a great night! Tip: usually $ 10 cover to get in

Okay, update time. I went for a quietish drink in the hopes of sitting outside on the cool patio. The bartenders inside Scarlet’s were very nice. Murray, the owner, also very nice. Hanging out, outside, was great! Good bartenders are intuitive. They read you, match your vibes, validate the lonely, party hard with the wild ones & therefore rake in tips, right? One bartender at the Powerhouse was clearly intuitive & was broadcasting his thoughts like a drive in movie. Unless he found you attractive, he was kind of a dick. Survey says he was tired of his job. eesh. Patrons started spilling out onto the patio and the people were ready to party. Cocktail servers, the other bartender and security for both Powerhouse & Scarlet’s are friendly, welcoming and sociable. Drinks are priced well & there’s no cover before 9.

Did you know you can order pizza to be delivered from Chicago Fire to Scarlet’s? Yes, it’s true and fantastic if you arrive craving pizza and the place is packed or if you want to sit outside and the area is fulll. Scarlet’s has a phone to call in and place your order and a menu for Chicago Fire too. It’s actually quicker to do this than go to the restaurant. It’s a much more chill date spot, where you can sip on beer along the long bar inside or on one of the smaller tables on the patio. Their view is also better than Chicago Fire! Our bartender was incredibly nice and served us up some cold brews. He also was the one who informed us of the whole pizza ordering thing. Thank you sir! And now you know!
