If I could give this store 0 stars, I would. The owner is an imbecile who has no clue how to maintain a respectful relationship with his customers. The selection is awful (at best), and half the time other people in the store asked to see pipes/​waterpipes (I was only shopping for incense personally, but the store is so small — and I had to wait so long for the 1 person working the store to check me out — that I couldn’t help but hear) he had to explain why the pieces they were asking to see were cracked or didn’t sit flat. Really?
Furthermore, I am an overweight young woman who carries most of her weight in her belly (a fact that you can probably imagine I DON’T love talking about in public with a stranger). Yes, yes I realize that it’s my problem that I’m fat, but this shouldn’t have ANYYHING to do with a customer/​provider transaction. When he finally came to check me out, the man jovially (and oh so deftly… NOT) commented on my «pregnancy.» When I told him I was not in fact pregnant he continued to JOKE about his comment, and how inappropriate it was (all of which continued to make me feel very, very uncomfortable). He just would not stop, and the whole ordeal was awful. In some deranged attempt to make me feel better this scumbag goes on to tell me how, when his wife was pregnant she got up to a whole 95lbs and even then her pregnancy wasn’t showing. Oh wow, 95 whole pounds? She must’ve felt like a huge f****** cow, just how I felt when I left this small, dingey store.
Point is: the man who owns/​runs this shop is an idiot who has no idea how to repectfully run his business. He has no business commenting on the bodies of his customers, and frankly even if I were pregnant, I wouldn’t want to talk about it with his creep ass. I will never return to this store, and I dont suggest you waste your time/​money doing so either.
