They charge 50cents extra for no rice. I’ll give my business to WaBa instead. Enough said

The person running the register made some comment about me making 6 sauces for one bowl(3 Hot Sauce, and 3 Magic Sauce). So I like sauce in my chicken bowl. I don’t appreciate being called out on it though. I’ve been going to this place for years now. I might think twice before going back now. I will probably start hitting up the local Waba Grill from now on.

Good service, the food is not the best but in a hurry it’s delicious for the price I give it 4 out of 5 because of the service and quality of the food.

Food was fine… its the customer service that gets the star. Maybe the owner/manager should pay attention to reviews because it seems consistent with what others have said. The hispanic lady working the register today around 12p on Tuesday sept 8 was extremely rude. I called in an order and she kept cutting me off. I wanted to say something to her on the phone but didnt for fear of them doing something to my order. Management needs to train their staff better or hire employees that actually care about servicing customers. I will try this location 1 more time so hopefully things improve otherwise i wont go back to this location.

I usually like flame broiler a lot but this location is not so good. Tables were dirty, signs were not maintained well, and they got my order wrong! Ordered a simple chicken and veggie bowl but they gave me a chicken bowl. Unfortunately it was a to go order and I didn’t notice until I got home :(

I am a fan of the franchise, BUT not a fan of this particular location. I’ve been here several times over the years and am just not pleased. The meat is chewy, and dry, like it’s been sitting off to the side just waiting to be warmed on the grill. The chicken tastes like it’s had the sweet sauce poured over it while cooking. When done right, the chicken would be cooked fresh without the sauce, and it would be the customer putting the Magic Sauce over the food. Sorry, not liking it one bit.

Terrible service by cashier Reyna, but why is this placed staffed with one person. Reyna took my order(handled my money), and then proceeded to the kitchen to cook my food. I’m contacting the health dept, since this place doesn’t have a manager, and the owner is unreachable.

Meat is good. Veggies mixture in bowl is 90% cabbage. Chicken bowl with Extra meat and $ 1.50 salad was over $ 13. Eating with a plastic fork that broke twice just made me think I should had just gone to a restaurant and had lunch. No AC was the cherry on top.

My family ate her 2x in one day when we went to Universal Studios. I feel like that should be telling(or maybe that just shows how crappy the food at U. Studios is. Whatevah). Anywho, it is super simple + nothing crazy but it is d o n e RIGHT. I get extra veggies + extra chicken + a big ol’ thing of Magic Sauce. Basically I just order two bowls. Ha.

The food at Flame Broiler is great. The staff at this location were very friendly. This was my first time at this place and highly recommend.

Wow, ok. Rude customer service. Just ate here on Sunday afternoon about 4:30pm, terrible service! The lady was speaking Spanish super loud in the back, laughing and cutting up like a teenager, only she was about 45. She didn’t even come up front right away… We stood there waiting for someone to give a crap that we were there. Then she rudely takes our order and hurries to the back to chat her coworkers up again as loud as possible in Spanish. Also, what’s with the Mexican music blaring from the back? What the hell are the owners thinking? Do they train these people to be polite? Or courteous to customers? Do the owners even come by on Sundays? What a lousy example of a flame broiler.

Last night I decided to give this place a try — I’ve never been to a Flame Broiler. This place is good, but not great. I gave a 3 out of 5 because the chicken with veggies rice bowl was good(but not great) in terms of taste. Sure, they do have«Magic Sauce,»(which is really teriyaki sauce) and it boosts the flavor somewhat but it does not make taste great. You should ask for white meat($ 1 extra) because they give your dark meat and it just doesn’t taste right. For a few dollars, you’ll get a good, basic meal if that’s what you want. But don’t expect it to be great.

One of my favorite spots for a quick and healthy meal. Parking can get a little difficult during weekday lunch in the shopping center, but not too bad. I always get the half chicken/veggie mini bowl with brown rice… it’s always just enough!

An affordable quick place to fill that rice craving you may have. They basically offer chicken or beef teriyaki with a variety of options(brown rice, white rice, steamed veggies or none, green onions or without). A regular chicken bowl is only $ 5.50. Chicken is consistently good although their beef(Korean style) tends to be a little tough due to its thickness. They offer a teriyaki sauce, hot sauce and a new spicy green sauce. I like the hot magic sauce with jalapenos. Overall a simple restaurant with a simple menu but consistent service and quality.

half and half! no onions! brown rice! not really ‘cheap’ but good value and healthier — i still prefer yoshinoya but i don’t see them around anymore… and yes this is healthier, but the beef is somehow too hard and dry sometimes? i like the help yourself magic/hot sauce bar. parking here can be challenging but people come in and out pretty fast.

Bf kept raving about this place so he brought me a beef bowl one day. Lots of beef, make sure you get green onions on top, and definitely get the magic sauce. Agree with fellow Unilocalers on that point. The magic sauce makes everything spicier and better :) Decided to vary from the usual beef bowl and order the rib plate yesterday. Pleasantly surprised. Kinda like Korean-style type of short ribs. Rib to rice ratio was a little on the low side though. Would have liked more beef. Came with side salad and an half of an orange(?!) You get quite a bit of food for money, a lot of rice. Very filling. I don’t think I have ever fully finished something. Pretty good value though.

Came here coz i received a coupon(2 bowls for $ 10). I got 2 work bowls( ), one for me and the other for my brother. the regular price for the bowl is like $ 5.85.anyways, i like how you can choose brown or white rice. i chose brown and my brother white. you can also told them to put more veggies and less rice for an additional 50cent, which is definitely not worth it. as for the taste, it taste descent. i like the chicken more than the beef, but my brother likes the opposite. but what i like the most is their teriyaki sauce(they call it ‘master sauce”). it has perfect texture, thickness, and sweetness too. i think imma get lotza this next time i come. i can basically eat plain rice with this sauce. Service was okay, not too great but not bad either. i think most of the workers are mexican so its just another fast food service. will come back again when i received another coupon
