Grace Hair Spa

My review is towards i-​lipo as I have not had any experiences with the salon itself which is the only reason I’m giving an extra star. However, i-​lipo services are rendered through Grace Hair Spa and the service I experienced trying to make an appointment completely turned me off and due to it, lost a potential customer. I purchased a groupon for 6 sessions and in trying to make an appointment kept getting voicemail and could tell the person was on the other line (you’re told to call a cell number), I know because I’ve had Verizon and when you’re on the other line and someone calls, that person hears the beep. Understandable, could be business related. Fine, I leave a message and she returns my call hours later and unfortunately I’m working so now I’m unavailable. Okay, I call back the next day and get voicemail again and I CLEARLY mention the hours I’m available and if doesn’t work to PLEASE provide with a time that works to call back the next day. Instead, I get a text message «Your busy and I’m busy. Please call me tomorrow.» Really! Great customer service. No indication of availability to even call so basically need to try again and get voicemail and play back and forth? I need to make an appt for a phone call in order to make an appt for services? No, thanks. Glad I was able to cancel the groupon and get a refund.

Got my hair blown out after calling to see if I could be squeezed in for a last minute appt. Grace was lovely to talk to on the phone and fit me in for the following day. Nicole blew out my hair and was amazing! I got so many compliments! I was in a rush and she got me in and out without a hitch! This is a gem of a find in the heart of forest hills! Great set up too in an apartment style salon!

Great salon, atmosphere and people. Grace is great at what she does and makes you feel very comfortable and relaxed. Killer highlights!

Grace has cut and colored my hair for 15 years. She is unbelievably talented and reasonably priced. I have traveled to her salon from wherever I have moved (Westchester and later New Jersey). Grace is worth the trip. She is smart and a wonderkind with her shears. She will never give you a cut you don’t want. If you care about your hair, Grace is the only person you need to see. Straight and curly, long and short. Now I am moving cross country and I will finally have to find someone new. My heart is broken. Maybe I’ll just have to wear a hat until I can get to see her again on a visit to NY!

the salon is more like having a private hairdresser! intimate setting, relaxed, expert haircare, Grace always makes ou feel like a million bucks!

Fabulous color and the latest up-​to-​date haircuts by grace! Terrific peppermint hair treatment and scalp massage by jay! All this plus a drink, a nosh, good conversation with old friends, soft music and a comfy sofa in the back room for relaxing! Who could ask for anything more?
Grace has been my stylist for over 15 years! Is there a better recommendation than that?
