All the reviews are right. The lady owner has some serious attitude problems. I’ve never met anyone so unbelievaby unpleasant. Do not go here at all costs. It’s the laundromat from hell!

First of all, the address that is shown on Unilocal is not the real address. They are located on Queens Boulevard close to 73rd Road. I brought my $ 150 coat there for dry cleaning and when I received my jacket back the zipper was completely broken. When I dropped off my jacket. The zipper was fully functional. I called them up the next day kindly asking them to fix the zipper for me as it was not in a broken condition when I gave it to them. The Chinese lady at the store started to yell at me over the phone saying that I am not going to fix it for you and you should have checked it on the spot. The coat was in a protected plastic cover(usually how you get back your dry-cleaned items) and I do not think that anybody checks clothes on the spot for zipper condition especially when it was working before. She did not give me any options to work with me and she sounded very unprofessional on the phone. I asked to talk to the owner/manager of the store and she cursed at me and hung up the phone on me as well. No wonder why they have so many negative reviews on Unilocal.A business that does not care about its customers should not be in business at all. The dry cleaning of the jacket cost $ 30 and I would have appreciated if they worked with me to resolve this issue, but they failed to do that so. PLEASEAVOIDTHISPLACEATALLCOST!!! Especially, because they are so many other quality dry-cleaners in this area that deal with their customers in a respectful manner.

AVOIDTHISPLACE! I came here for laundry and when I put my clothes into the dryer, the lady yelled at me to use two dryers instead of one because the dryer will break. the dryer was only one third full. I told her to come and see the dryer herself notifying there is plenty of space. She insisted that I use two dryers and we argued. She had a huge attitude. And then she began to use the F word to me, and said that I am cheap. She asked where I am from implying that I am from a cheap background. And then until I walked out the place, she used the F word on my back. If you don’t want to ruin your day, AVOIDTHISPLACE!

I signed up to Unilocal just to write this review. The owner is a horrid horrid horrid woman! Where do I begin. I went to the basement laundry in my building and finished washing. Turned to the dryers and see an out of order message. So I lug my wet laundry over to Mings. At first the lady tells me her dryers are only for their wash and fold customers so I say I’ll pay the wash and dry price. So she makes an exception. She shows me the dryers to use and I begin helping myself. And then I saw the worst, most racist, foul, ill tempered proprietor of any kind ever. The machine accepts only one coin at a time and you have to ring the quarter in. I ask her how many should I put in, she says 6. After the first few coins, the rest begin falling into the coin return box. Strange, so I open the box to retrieve them and reinsert, ask her if I should be doing something else. And she explodes! «HOWDIDYOUOPENTHAT? You have no respect for property! You are not supposed to be here near the dryers(remember she pointed me to use them). None of the clients do this. You are STEALING(my own quarters!!).». I’m shaken. Being my first time there I still apologize and move out to the front. And it would still be understandable if it stopped at that! When I further apologize It continues with«I don’t trust you. Don’t ever come back here. Take your stuff and go. YOURCOUNTRYYOUCOMETOSTEAL!». I say its my first time at your laundry and I’m sorry did not know I can’t retrieve the coins. She jerks towards the phone«Should I call the cops? I’ll call cops. How did you open it» :’(. At this point I am shocked beyond belief. The freaking coin return box just slides out and if it’s not meant to then its their machines fault. Her aged husband has his head down folding clothes. She stops the dryer and commands that I take my half dried clothes out. As I pull out my clothes she continues murmuring offensively. Then she puts out a few quarters on the counter and says Take your money… I count out the exact number of coins the machine had taken and pocket them. She freaks out asking me to take all of them! GOD I tell her its not my money and start walking out. Her parting shot. don’t show you face here no more. Positively among the top 3 worst days of my life. To everyone who cares to be sure — this is Ming’s Laundry on Queens Blvd near 75th Avenue. Enter at your own risk.

They are extremely irresponsible and have even stained some of my clothes. They don’t keep their policy of having the clothes ready in one day. I called three days later and the clothes still weren’t ready and they didn’t even deliver the following day as they said they would. I would not recommend them.

If you don’t care about having your clothes returned to you, this is definitely the place to call. I used them for the first time yesterday and they assured me they would have my clothes ready that night and I would be able to receive them this morning. Well, I have called them ALLDAY and have not had a response. Being that I have a trip coming up in a few days, I am deeply concerned about this manner and will not be able to continue to use them as they are proving unreliable.

ming’s laundry in forest hills at 110 – 68 queens blvd, played a nasty game with me. when I brought shirts to dry clean, instead of the $ 2.75 price they quoted me on the phone, they refused to charge that amount and insisted on charging me a higher $ 4.50. I walked out. I would not do business with a store that operates that way. BEWARE of false advertising.

A very low-key, hole in the wall type of place. BUT. CHEAP. They pick up and deliver for free. They always follow my instructions. Fold perfectly. If you want to wash your clothes in there yourself, I wouldn’t go for it… but for drop off/pick up or delivery it’s really perfect.

We have a washer and dryer in our apartment but I remember having to schlepp my laundry to a laudromat in Brooklyn back in the day– Ming’s reminds me of that place. It’s unpretentious, quiet and clean and it doesn’t get crowded. I’ve been walking past this place for the last 5+ years and I’ve washed a King size blanket here, just out of curiosity. It’s an OK place.
