My co-​worker took me here yesterday and I got my entire life for $ 61.43! I got a foam pad for my bed. Scarves for my neck. Shower curtain liners. 6 bras. A robe, slippers and an oven mitt! I’m lounging in my 10 dollar robe now and it is so comfy I feel like I’m at a spa! I had my nose up before I went in and then I saw all the fleece pajamas and my eyes lit up. I want to be warm this winter! I’ll be back because they have everything you need for beyond reasonable prices.

I went to Roses a couple days back just to compare it against the Maxway store at Marlow Heights Shopping Ctr. I fell in LUST!!! CLEAN, ORGANIZED, VARIETY, SPACIOUS it is a mini Target but MUCH, MUCH, CHEAPER they had an 8 pc bed set for $ 25 – 30 in great vibrant colors. The prices are just GREAT! I have to agree with Katrina’s review the Cashiers DO NOT WANT TO BE BOTHERED! however, the floor/​retail floor staff are very approachable so Roses is a MUST stop in first to shop besides Big Lots! the advantages of living in the HOOD are great discounted stores in low income areas that provide us with a great variety of household goods that we can afford to decorate your home with the likes of (Ikea comparison). So I can overlook the lack of CSR pep as long as I can stretch my $ 50 bucks to do a complete bedroom/​bathroom makeover. They sell large beautiful area rugs/​hardwood flooring/​furniture.

Great place to find a bargain, not so-​great place to find helpful employees.
Roses is the sister store of Maxway, a sort of local mini-​Walmart store scattered around the ‘hoods of the DMV. If you’re looking for a discount on food, furniture, clothes or pretty much anything else, Roses is a great place for you.
Located off of Marlboro Pike in Forestville, MD, Roses occupies a huge space in a strip mall that only hosts about four storefronts — including the Bazz & Crue strip club where the ladies hindparts are ‘FOR REAL’!
But back to Roses though… its a huge store with a lot of bargains. You do have be wary of the potential ‘cheap look’ for some of the clothes — but they have an awesome lingerie section that could potentially put VS to shame. Shhhhh! $ 10 for 3 bras? Oh yessss!
They carry brand names at discounts — think a local Walmart — but better. Their home section was a pleasant surprise! I couldn’t believe their prices… a swinging backyard chair for only $ 150? POW!
I so wanted to give it four stars but CS is lacking so badly here… its fairly new so I’m trying to be patient… but the lines are long bc the employees sometimes seem lazy and/​or have major attitudes… I’ve been only twice but I’ve experienced the same service from the cashiers.
Annoying but hey… the prices are amaze! Bargain hunters. You will appreciate this spot! Hopefully the employees get it together soon. I’ll be back fo sho.
