Lauderdale Speedometer & Compass

Very friendly & knowledgeable. Reasonable prices. I needed to get my speedometer calibrated. They were quick to get me in an out of their shop. No appointment needed. Overall, a pleasant experience. A great group of gentlemen who work here.

Two tachometers on the boat went bad, and instead of replacing them with brand new ones that would cost a fortune, we located the services of Speedometer. When we called them on the phone and explained the issue they said each one would cost about $ 200 to repair and take about 2 days.
I brought them in and dropped them off and told them to take their time as 2 days wasn’t necessary, but they called me back almost exactly 48 hours later and told me to they were done.
Located between Runway 84 and Lester’s Diner, Speedometer is definitely in a convenient location for boaters.
Keep in mind their hours are 8am-​5pm M-​F only, however they did tell me on the phone that occasionally they are there on Saturday mornings. Call ahead if you can only get there on weekends.

Located right after lester’s diner to the west they have great service and a knowledgable staff. Speed checks, cables, clocks, drive joints, marine and industrial… what more could you want in a store? ;)
Love lauderdale for the array of random stores that are mostly on this section of state road 84. McDonald’s hardware is right across the street for any odd modifications you might need to make on what you purchase from lauderdale speedometer.
