Motorcar Gallery has been here for a long time, matter of fact since 1985. It’s a used exotic and vintage car dealership. It used to specialize mostly in Rolls Royce motorcars but of late seems to have broadened its inventory to include more types like those of Ferrari, Corvette and so forth. The interior of the store and displays aren’t as spiffy looking as are the many of the other exotic and vintage used car dealerships in the area, and the only dealing I’ve had with them was over a decade ago in helping a friend select vintage car as an investment, which investment later proved out to be very profitable for him. I might also add that though the vehicle had been thoroughly inspected prior to sale, it later proved to have some defect with a tie rod which they arranged to have quickly corrected without any charge.
I’m not sure the source of their inventory, but they use to have a number that they held for sale upon a consignment basis.
One thing I like about them is that, having been around a long time, they have a favorable reputation, are definitely knowledgeable about their inventory, know and seem to be in keeping with what are prevailing market prices. Also they don’t seem to overhype or try to pull any pressure sales tactics.
