Great food at reasonable prices. We are from Chicago and can be a tough critic for pizza… their pizza was excellent!

I don’t know why Unilocal has flagged this restaurant as being closed — we just ate there last week. My boyfriend and I split a pepperoni pizza for lunch and it was delicious. Fantastic flavor and big enough to stuff both of us. It was freezing inside the restaurant so we sat outside and had a great view of palm trees and people headed to the beach. This place is a few steps away from Fort Myers Beach Pier. Great location but you have to pay to park. There were some squawky birds that bothered us a bit, but on a patio it’s difficult to avoid that. We would absolutely go back.

The pizza was decent, which is why I gave this place 2 stars. The rest left a lot to be desired. It was sprinkling so we had to sit inside… big mistake. It’s kind of dirty, messy, and has a faint cat litter box smell! Our server was pretty attentive but seemed half asleep. The kids meals we ordered, ravioli and spaghetti, were just ok. There was a sign out front says they are closing so maybe that explains the lack of effort they are putting in.

I was really, really, really craving a slice of pizza and a soda while on Ft. Myers beach. This place hit the spot and hit it well… Im not going to go overboard with the stars because, honestly, its pretty hard to mess up a slice of pizza and a coke.

Pizza on the beach is always a tradition for us at Fort Myers Beach, and that tradition started at Citrola’s Times Square Grill. With 2 adults and 3 kids, finiding the perfect pizza and pizza toppings can sometimes be a challenge, so we always order by the slice here and are never disappointed. Citrola’s is small and well the ambiance probably leaves something to be desired, but the pizza and service are always great for us! We can’t wait to return for pizza night next summ

Looks like a dive and the dining area is pretty small but still accommodating. Server was very good and serviced table well although it was after 9pm and the mad rush probably was well over. Most importantly though the food is above average to excellent. I had the Hot Italian combo sub with chips. Being from NY. It was spot on NY style. Nice hard bread, good meat, and the deli italian dressing was excellent. Also in our group we had the Penne A la Vodka and it was very good. Ceaser salad was a little dry but good. That could also have been because we are within 1 hour of closing. The pizza, mozarrella sticks, and ravioli bites were okay as well. All in all for a FL spot doing NY style food, its pretty good especially because its right in the thick of the Ft Myers street scene.

We had cheese pizza. Pretty good, thin crust. Great place to people watch. Service was good. Patio seating near the pier.

Ordered carry out and was given a total amount that differed when we arrived. Bait and switch service. The restaurant itself was crowded and the staff response was return the food. When I asked for the manager his response was the same and he walked away. He was after some discussion not even the manager. The food was not worth the experience and price. Go elsewhere if you can help it.

How anyone could like this pizza is beyond me. There was So Much grease on this pizza, I used the paper towels on the table to mop this up. I must have used 20 sheets to get most of the grease up! The name on the restaurant is different than the one listed on Unilocal. The name is Citrola’s Times Square Grill & Pizzeria Coke &2 slices $ 11.40

We’ve eaten here twice and this has been a pleasure both times. I don’t say this often about any restaurant but every bite was great! You gotta try their eggplant fries! If you like onion rings, you MUST try them too. They are probably the best onion rings I’ve ever had. If not, they are on my top 3 for sure. They also come with a really delicious zesty sauce. Drooling just thinking about it… Their fries are pretty thick(but not like steak fries) and they’re seasoned. So good. The marinara is absolutely delicious. Reminds me of Olive Garden marina actually. The pizza is fantastic too. Although I love most pizza, even my wife loved it and she just barely tolerates pizza. The steak and cheese subs are great, if anything a little smallish for a big guy like me, but the bread is a little on the doughy side and filling. Kind of reminded me of ciabatta rolls which I like. The beach is right there too, so location is nice. Unfortunately it’s not facing the water or anything but still good for people watching. Beware though, through no fault of its own, they sometimes can’t use the fountain soda machines due to boil warnings in the area. So if you like Italian and you like the beach, there you go! Can’t imagine you’ll regret it.

Worst service I have ever had. Literally waited 30 minutes for beverages while watching the table next to us who came in after us nearly finish their meals before we received our beverages. Proceeded to have the server be incredibly rude. When we told her to cancel our order, she explained that our food was up and being heated because it had been sitting out for over 5 minutes and«you want cold pizza?». Nope, I wanted the fresh pizza… Too bad, because the food is decent usually, but this experience will prevent me from ever coming again.

We found ourselves at the Ft Myers beach for lunch, surrounded by bar after bar. I found Citrola’s on Unilocal and it didn’t disappoint. It was the best NY style pizza I’ve had in a very long time. The crust was crunchy and perfect, the sausage crumbly and the amount of cheese was just right. After, we headed next door to Citrola’s ice cream parlor, which was very good as well, and we received a 10% discount for eating at the restaurant.

Very good pizza, but my mushrooms were placed on top, uncooked. Why! What ever you do, don’t go to sandbar grille for pizza. Stick with this place. It’s real ny style pizza

We were not disappointed. My slice of pizza had a crunchy crust with pieces of tasty bacon all over. I was licking my fingers. We sat outside and it was very nice. Live band from the place 2 doors down was a plus! Service was fast.

Best pizza I have found in Florida! Heck, it rivals some of the pizza in NY/NJ! I ordered one slice of pepperoni after I couldn’t eat my bloody, raw burger from Lehne’s down the street. The pizza here is so good, I ordered another slice to go(I wanted to eat a whole pie, but restrained myself. Lol). I’m sure I’ll regret not ordering that pie… :-/

We stopped in for a quick bite while on vacation in Fort Myers Beach. The pizza was really great. The location is wonderful with a nice view of everything that is happening. Great for people and bird watching. Our waitress was very good and did a nice job considering the place was hopping. We would definitely go back.
