I’d like to be more generous, but as someone with a BBQ hobby, I can’t put this anywhere above average Texas BBQ. I ordered the brisket Sandwich, requesting fatty and burnt ends. Asked for the sauce on the side, but after 3 bites I wished it had been mixed in with the beef… it needed it in a bad way. Dry, chewy, and barely any smoke flavor in the crust. The sauce made it edible, but not memorable. Would only return if invited and would try the pulled pork as others are saying.

The spicy pulled pork sandwich is delicious. The place is very small service is lightning fast and food is great.

The atmosphere was great. The staff was friendly. It had an old-school feel. I had the spicy shredded pork sandwich with mustard and their spicy BBQ sauce and it was fantastic! I also had the beans and cole slaw. The beans have a similar taste to retried beans with a peppery, meaty flavor. The slaw is creamier than most and simple. Overall, the experience was good, especially for $ 11.

Cheap, convenient, fast, and good authentic food! In and out in 2 minutes or less. Such a cool place. Limited hours though — only lunch

Mediocre BBQ. Came here while on jury duty in the city and got to finally check this place out. It’s a quiet little shack in a sleepy part of downtown. I had the sliced beef sandwich for about $ 5 and the meat had a fair smoky flavor however it didn’t wow me. I would recommend moving on to the next place unless you just want to try this place out for the heck of it, like I did.

Ate here because I started working across the street. Wasn’t my favorite place. I am a BBQ connoisseur, so this didn’t tickle my fancy but this is merely my opinion my other co workers enjoyed it. Give a try you may like it.

Solid BBQ joint. Been at the same location for decades. Great specials, great people. A true Fort Worth establishment.

I am a big BBQ fan. I went in expecting good chopped beef sandwiches and a decent prices from a small town BBQ shack in the city. The sandwiches were merely ok. The potato salad was just ok. The prices for one sandwich will get you a sandwich plate with sides in most places like it.($ 5-$ 6) The people were friendly, the building was quaint. If you are stuck near-by, sure, go in for lunch, but there are so many better local BBQ joints not far away at all. I really wanted to love Bailey’s but it’s just ok, which is fine.

The sauce is good, not great. And, the meat is tender, but dry. Not recommend for Bariatric patients because of how dry the meat is. Nonetheless, it’s a solid choice if you’re in the area.

Baileys is a cheap place to get average BBQ sandwiches in downtown Fort Worth. Nothing to write home about, but good for what it is. The ordering line is a little bit like the soup nazi, so be ready. That being said, the people are very friendly, just efficient. The pulled pork is my favorite, as the sauce is good. Also the beans are actually real tasty. It’s a simple pinto bean cup with salt and pepper, but is much better than other BBQ places who serve the canned ranch beans.

I love this place! It is right across the street from my office. If you are looking for some good ol’ fashion bbq at a price that is unbeatable Bailey’s is for you! They always have a special that includes chips and a drink and tax.

Good BBQ. Fast and dependable. The sliced beef is always tender and juicy. The sides are tasty. Prices very reasonable. If you are downtown, give it a try. You won’t be disappointed.

It was ok… not like most have raved about… the spicy pork special was good, but not fantastic… you kind of expect great bbq when it’s a hole-in-the-wall open only for lunch…

Good, dependable BBQ sammiches for around the 5 – 6 dollar mark. Bailey’s is easily one of the best lunch«meal deals» in downtown Fort Worth. As others have mentioned, the pulled pork is their best offering, but their chopped and sliced beef aren’t bad either. Skip the chips on their lunch special and get the beans. Unlike some of the more venerated and well known BBQ places around Fort Worth, these guys make their own beans, rather just opening up a can of Ranch-Style(Railhead and Angelo’s, I’m looking at you!), and they are good. Of course, watching the 3 folks inside at work is also part of the deal. I’m always impressed at how fast they keep the line moving, get everybody their sammiches and still greet everybody with a smile and make you feel at home and seeing this tiny, red brick BBQ shack in the middle of downtown Fort Worth is always a delight. My favorite part? When walking to it, you get hit by the smoked BBQ smell about a block away — you can easily just follow your nose to the location.

Friendly, fast, cheap. What else could you want? I love this little red structure tucked in between big, downtown buildings. The pulled-pork sandwich is tender. It has some spice to it. It’s not at all ‘spicy’ — just right. I’m more a beef fan, so I’ll try that the next time. Next time, meaning I’ll be back!

Awesome place and a quick lunch spot. The spicy pulled pork gets five stars hands down. Hard to find good pulled pork, but they pull it off. The place gets 4 stars overall because the beef is sub par. Stick with the pork and you won’t be let down

This place is no nonsense BBQ. I read about it on Unilocal and was listed in our conference brochure as a place to get good BBQ. I got the daily special which was spicy pulled pork, a bag of chips and a canned soda AND it was cheap. The bun was plain but the pork was good. It was quick and easy. The line moves very quickly so make sure you know what you want when you get to the front.

Quick and affordable barbecue. Streamlined operations… you order at the counter, and they have your food ready before you’re finished ordering and long before you reach for your wallet. This spectacle is worth the trip alone. I have no complaints about the food considering the prices. Tasty regular and spicy barbecue sauces. Stop by when you’re at the Fort Worth Municipal Court, City Hall, or Federal buildings.
