I exclusively stay at Best Westerns since I had to live in one for my job’s training for a month. This one needs a little work. The staff is friendly, and the location is great, but the room we got was on the older side. The beds were lumpy and incredibly hard, and the pillows had already long outlived their lifespan. Every morning my husband and I woke up in pain, which is no fun since I already have bursitis in my shoulders. The AC worked well, but when it did turn off the room became instantly humid. This wasn’t normal for any Best Western I’ve stayed in before. It may be time for a bit of a pick up in that hotel. The last time we stayed here it was a lot nicer.

I would stay at the Best Western Plus on Boat Club Road again. My review is as follows: We checked in around 1:00 a.m. after arrived in from a flight delay. The hotel was very easy to spot off the road and the front desk was very nice and courteous which is not an easy thing to find at that hour of the night. We did have a small problem with our room but it was rectified right away so I won’t even go into it. Had the problem not been taken care of so efficiently it would be a different story. The 2nd room was perfect. Nice bed and sheets, great furnishings and flat screen TV. It came with a fridge, microwave and coffee maker. The bathroom was clean as well. Traditional hotel photos are the only thing I would change. A/C worked great and we never had a problem with keys. The breakfast is normal stuff if not lacking a bit. They have eggs and waffles and some pastries & cereal etc., The only thing that was super impressive was they have coffee around the clock. Comfortable neighborhood with shopping and food close by. Great bang for your buck if you’re looking for a place in Lake Worth or Fort Worth. If you need to be in Dallas you might want to look for something closer. Dallas is 30 minutes away. The best thing about this hotel was the housekeeping staff. Maybe it’s a regional thing but they were always smiling and saying Hello and Thank You and seemed to go out of their way to make sure we were comfortable. I made sure I let Manager Jimmy(who is also awesome) know upon check out. Funny thing though — I just read the reviews on this hotel and noticed bed bugs awhile back — I actually had some bumps after we left but I had gotten some masquito bites before we flew to TX and I assumed those are what they were… I’d like to think it wasnt bed bugs so I’m going to still give the place 4 stars because I think they were masquito bites. I would stay again! Zero complaints about this hotel.

My mother and I decided to come down to Lake Worth a day early so we didn’t have to get up early in the morning to drive. We already booked a night for this establishment for the next night so we thought we would go in a see if we could get a room for the current night. When we walked in there wasn’t anyone at the desk, and there was a GIANT bell just begging to be pushed. My mother of course could not help herself and rang the bell. The lady(she never gave her name) came out of the breakfast area, literally rubbing her temples as if we just caused her some serious pain. I understand those bells could be quite annoying, but maybe you should hide your agitation? I don’t know… anyways, she was quite clearly in a bad mood, she didn’t greet us, not a hint of a smile, no response after my mother apologized for ringing the bell(she explained she couldn’t help herself it was just so big!), she just plainly asked, «Can I help you?». We asked for the prices for a room for the night and she explained they only had suites left. Honestly, the price was alright, we would have paid it, but she was completely unwelcoming that I didn’t want to bother. Anyways, the next day we unfortunately had to come back since we already pre-book the hotel room… and we were dreading running into her again. Luckily she wasn’t there! Woohoo! Kirk greeted us, we brought up the size of the bell and he asked if we wanted to ring it lol. We got to our room and it smelled as if it was previously a smoking room but turned into a non-smoking room. Otherwise, it was clean and comfortable. Later in the day we had a little situation with our TV so tried calling down to the front desk(pressing the front desk button on our phone) but it kept giving a busy signal. We tried about 5 times before we gave up and my mother went down to ask if someone could fix our TV. Unfortunately, I didn’t go down with my mother so I don’t know exactly what happened, but she came back up fuming. Apparently, the LADY was back… and was not so kind in offering to help. I guess she gave my mother some directions, but she actually called our room in which I answered because my mother flat out refused to talk to her again. When I answered she asked me what phone I answered with, and explained it was the one on the desk… and she said… «so your phone is working»… lol Seriously, I am not sure what customer service training she received, but I think she needs to go back and learn a thing or two. Anyways, whatever she explained to my mother downstairs she repeated to me and we were able to get our TV fixed pretty quickly. She did call back to ensure we got it fixed, which I did think was nice to of her. Unfortunately, because of this, my mother refused to walk through the front whenever we left the building or returned, because she still quite angry about the situation. The breakfast consisted of the basic continental amenities, in addition to make your own waffles and some hot biscuits, sausage, and egg to make a nice breakfast sandwich. It was pretty good, filled me right up. Honestly, even though the room was alright(aside from smelling like old smoke) and the breakfast was good, the customer service from that lady really made it hard for me to even give three stars… but since we encountered Kirk twice during our stay, and both times he was extremely courteous and welcoming, I gave three. This place needs more Kirks!

BEDBUGS — BEDBUGS — BEDBUGS!!! I’m very glad they did not bite me on my eye lids. Luckily they just bit my arms up real bad and got the sheets bloody. The hotel was not clean. My toilet had dried you know what… directly under the seat. The maids did not clean under the toilet. On top of all this the maids just walk in your room without knocking. They are in such a rush to get you out of there. The front desk gentleman was wearing a suit and acted very confused about everything. He was a young little guy and kept saying he could not find my reservation. We booked online and he said his computers are always slow. It took 45 minutes for him to find my reservation. He said Jimmy Patel(the manager) does not like discounts. The boy at the front desk said Jimmy thinks a customer would rather pay the difference than go driving around looking for another hotel. So they do not honor AAA or other hotels in the area, they do not even honor their own lower price on . It was weird however, Jimmy was right because I still booked a room here. I should have booked somewhere else online in advance. MYADVICETOYOU… DONOTSTAYHERE! Just keep driving to Fort Worth.

«Clean, Comfortable, Convenient, Caring« My wife and I stayed at the Best Western Lake Worth Inn & Suites in Lake Worth Texas for 4 days last week, and had a great experience. The Hotel is one of the Best I could find in this area of Fort Worth Texas and had very good nightly rates. The entire Hotel was very clean, and the rooms were very large with comfortable beds, a refrigerator, microwave and free WiFi. The Hotel is so conveniently close to the freeways, and is located across from a huge shopping center, gas stations, restaurants, banks, etc., all within walking distance. The Free Morning Breakfast was small but good. The Staff was very nice and helpful. They also had a very convenient computer and printer set up for patrons use. We would definitely stay here again if we travel to the Fort Worth and Lake Worth Texas areas.

Place is infested with bed bugs. They lied and said they were remodeling to convert to non-smoking but I believe that they are trying to rid it if the bed bugs.
