Four stars only because the service wasn’t spectacular which would have made the experience that much better! Everyone seemed scattered and running behind. Which was odd because it wasn’t very busy.(6 – 8 tables total) The atmosphere is cozy and warm! We had the turkey burger which was cooked to perfection. It was not dry or bland like most turkey burgers! The turkey lurkey sandwich was probably one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had. So full of flavor, warm, and delicious! The fries were fresh and that ketchup was awesome! I’ll be back!

Second time we’ve been here but first for brunch. Brunch was good. Bloody Mary is tasty and came with a grilled shrimp, a few jalenpenos, dill, celery stick and some other garnish. All the«fixins» came on the side to add yourself. Dijon mustard, tapatío, tobasco, horseradish, worsteschesterer sauce(even Guy Fieri has trouble pronouncing it so don’t judge me) and two blue cheese stuffed olives. Olives were so good and ate them straight up. Bloody was good and spicy. My glass was cracked and a pea-sized chip was missing from the rim which was replaced. Breakfast nachos were good. I ordered the eggs over easy for the yolk drizzle, but they came out over hard. Still so tasty sans the drizzle. Brisket, pico de gallo, queso fresco, jalepenos… They were good and the corn chips were crispy. Food was good, service was good so four stars.

This is a great spot on 7th with an outdoor patio. Came here one day for drinks and ended up getting a late lunch. We started with a tasty flatbread with fig jam and had two interesting fresh sandwiches. I liked all the high quality fresh ingredients they used in our food. I love that this place is adventurous with their take on American cuisine. This is definitely a place I will end up going to again and again. Great spot for a date night, to unwind after a hectic week of work or to gossip with your gf’s over a glass of wine or two.

I came for happy hour with a girlfriend and tried the pulled chicken tacos and some kind of specialty drink that tasted too healthy and tasty to be true. I can’t remember the name of the drink but it has vodka, celery juice, beet juice, cucumber juice and some other veggie juice in it. It tasted refreshing and pretty yummy, surprisingly. I hope they serve this for brunch because it’s way better than the Bloody Mary. The pulled chicken tacos were well seasoned. I wasn’t sure i was gonna like the raw cabbage at first, but all the ingredients worked really well together. I also tried(ate most of) my friends squash fries. The fries were so yummy, especially with the sauce. They were rich and almost tasted like sweet potato fries. The coating outside added some crunch/texture/spice. The restaurant is pretty chill and with a more mature scene. I really like this place and would come back again!

I really, really love the concept of this restaurant. Its cute, its quaint. I like the little market you can run in and out of. I like the décor, because farm house, duh… and I really like the patio. It reminds me of the quaint stores we shop for lunch in Sonoma where my grandparents live and then take it over to the park to eat. I didn’t love that the tables outside were somewhat dirty, that always kinda gets to me. I also personally didn’t love my entrée –an apple, prosciutto and arugula flatbread. The person I was dining with though. her entrée looked awesome– a pea salad with shrimp and HUGE lima beans. Server was sweet and swift. I’ll definitely be willing to give it another try. But hoping for clean tables to dine on!

Stopped by for Sunday brunch and was very impressed! They had several gluten free and vegan options which was nice. Usually the gluten free things are like eggs or bacon or something like that, but here they had gluten free banana pancakes(which were amazing), and I noticed that they sold gluten free cake slices in the market area as well. The menu had very interesting dishes and things. For example, the eggs Benedict was served on a jalapeño English muffin. And they had Avo Toast(avocado toast) with an egg on it! I ended up going for something typical and ordered a breakfast of fried eggs, bacon, and potatoes. I mean it was fine, nothing special(but what did I expect when I ordered something boring?). I wish the potatoes had come with some kind of sauce but they had a really good flavor on their own. My mom got the banana pancakes and I tried some… WOW they were good. We have made these at home with a banana and an egg but these tasted much better! They came with strawberries, apples, banana, and syrup on top. Definitely check this place out! It is really pretty and the service is efficient, the atmosphere is nice and the location is great. I will definitely return to try lunch and dinner.

We came for breakfast and thought everything was really good. I had the eggs, bacon, grits and a fruit cup. Thought everything was pretty good except the grits. Guess I’m more of a traditionally on some good ‘ol southern grits… But everyone else in our party really liked their meals as well. The coffe was also really good.

I give this place four stars. The atmosphere is nice and cozy and this place sells lots of organic groceries as well as serves fresh food. My waiter was great, you could tell she was fairly new but I really liked her attitude and customer service. I will say that service does take a bit longer here though and it took so long just to get the check or food. I got the market breakfast? It came with hash browns or grits, eggs, and bacon or sausage. Originally I got the scrambled eggs, hash browns and sausage but the sausage came out undercooked and pink. Despite that they switched that out for the bacon and didn’t charge me for that. I would still come back for a nice breakfast or brunch

If places like AF&B and Tillman’s can’t last over here, then this place definitely won’t last. I was very underwhelmed. I came here with my fiancé at 7:30pm on a Wednesday night and it was pretty empty. We stood waiting at entrance by their empty hostess stand for a few minutes, before approaching a bar tender and asking if anyone would seat us. He told us to sit wherever we wanted. It took almost 15 minutes for a server to finally acknowledge and greet us. We were literally getting up to just leave when a waiter finally showed up to greet us. By this point I was already annoyed. I order the autum panzanella salad, which was fine, but nothing mind blowing. For our entrées, I ordered the turkey burger(which was highly recommended by our server) and my fiancé got the bean burger. Neither were very good. My fiancé absolutely hated hers. Literally took two bites and couldn’t eat anymore of it. I’m not a bean patty kind of guy, so I of course thought it was disgusting too. The turkey burger was very underwhelming, dry, and lacked much flavor. Lastly, the Apple-cabbage slaw was absolutely nasty. Ultimately, the entire experience just sucked. Service was slow and inattentive, and the food wasn’t good either. From the pictures and reviews on Unilocal,it looks like this might be a much better brunch place, but after this experience, I don’t plan on wasting my time or money to find out.

I am loving the casual dining experience that is FW Market & Table! My freshly made turkey burger had all the fixins and even homemade pickles. Talk about YUM. They have so many delicious lunch options here… from avocado toast to broccolini wedge salads with marcona almonds… to wild salmon and sweet potato hash with quinoa. Along with different kinds of colorful juices and they are open for breakfast! The atmosphere is open and inviting and they even have a lovely patio where you can bask in the sun on a pretty day. Great concept! If you are looking for some gourmet foodie items, do some shopping on the market side and grab some lavender water to go! I really enjoyed my visit here and am looking forward to bringing friends back to explore more of this place and do some shopping and browsing along 7th street.

What a fantastic concept. We came out for a Sunday brunch and it was great. The portions were appropriately sized and tasty. Food is very high quality. When we return to the area we will definately return. They also have beautiful decorations and it looks like a great place for a nice drink. Maybe we will try it in the dark!

I come to the market side frequently. They have the absolute BEST grilled cheese/tomato basil combo I have ever had. Hands down. The grilled cheese has kale pesto and three kinds of cheese. and it’s very lightly grilled. Which is just how I like it. There happy hour is great also. All day on Sunday and Monday. And every other day from 4 – 7. Even Saturday! I have been there for breakfast once and got the avocado toast which was very delicious. The bread they use is very thick and the whole thing is just so fresh and delicious. They also have mimosa specials every day until 3, so that’s pretty awesome especially if you have a weekday off and want to do a brunch. I’ve had the salmon party which was great! The only thing I’ve had here that I didn’t really care for was the black bean patty. It was just a little bland and fell apart super easily. This is most definitely one of my favorite restaurants in Fort Worth!

Goodbye Tillman’s Roadhouse, Hello FW Market + Table — and what a welcome switch this is! Fort Worth never needed a Tillman’s-big portions, unhealthy fry anything and call it food. We have enough of that! What we DO need is healthier, fresh, clean eating. And FW Market + Table is just that! This is three places in one: Market — set up like a small grocery, high-top tables, lighter faire, casual. Bar — same menu as Market. And Table: fine dining experience with set menu Wednesday through Saturday. Market + Table is the same owner as Tillman’s. And you have the same Chef, Kaleb Morgenstern. We started with a drink at the bar while we waiting for our friends. I asked for my usual, French 75. I was super impressed with the bar tender who asked me if I wanted it traditional or with gin. The drink was perfect. My husband had their version of the Moscow mule. I normally do not like them, but I have to say it was amazing. We took a gander at the Market menu and had our heart set on a few dishes thinking perhaps it would be at the Table. Wrong! Dang we will have to come back! Table diners go behind a curtain to a small room. The décor is very nice. The waitstaff was a little slow to start us off with drinks, but all ended well. I had the aranachi to start, roasted beet salad and shrimp and grits as a main course, then peanut butter tart for dessert. I loved all my courses, except the peanut butter tart. The crust was too hard, I could not cut through it with my fork. And it just tasted like a cold peanut butter cup on a plate. The meal was $ 55 a person, well worth it. Very much looking forward to going back to the Market. I took a look at their brunch menu, looks amazing. And they serve until 3 pm.

I came here for brunch with a few friends. I don’t normally comment on décor unless it stands out to me, but I like the vibe here. It’s trendy, but not overdone. There is SO much shiplap on the walls! Joanna from«Fixer Upper» would be so proud! This is also the first place I’ve ever seen where the bathroom stall has French doors. Fancy! Having the menu on a clipboard might be a little too hipster for me though. I had the banana pancakes, and they were delicious. They were sweet, but not too sweet. The apple slices between layers made it interesting. All of the dishes in our group looked well prepared and fresh, and everyone enjoyed them. I’d like to come back again and try that avocado toast!

I live within walking distance of this place and was sad when Tillman’s left but excited to see a new concept come into it’s place with the same owners(thinking the owners did a good job with Tillman’s in FTW and Dallas…) but my real issue with this place is the MANGER — Adam Young! The guy has obviously never run a restaurant, he’s probably never been a server or it is possible he’s never even worked in a restaurant. Before we sat down I spoke with Adam and explained I had a DAIRY allergy. I even went so far as to spell is out as «cow milk, eggs are fine and I can eat goat or sheep cheese» THEN — he asked me if that was the same thing as celiac because they had 2 people eating on the«Table» side that had celiac and the chef knew how to do that. That should have been my FIRST warning. When I informed him it was not the same thing and celiac was gluten and they were very different, he did do the right and only thing he knew to do — get the chef! Kalen, the chef, was very nice and helpful! She took the time to meet with me and we discussed all the things that would be good for me to eat. I discussed with her if I should eat on the market side or table and she suggested our party would have a better dining experience on the table side. My mouth was watering on the options I was going to order as soon as she went back into the kitchen and behind the curtain to the«Table» side our party went. Maybe they have this part hidden behind the curtain for a reason! So no one can see how terrible the service is! After about 10 minutes someone came by to pour water. I asked if he was our server as we were ready to order and he said he wasn’t and that person would be by in a bit. After about another 10 minutes… no one. Not one single person came to check on us. We saw Adam, the allergy confused manager in the room, we saw a server and about 2 other wait staff but it’s like our table of 4 was invisible. Our party was getting frustrated and hungry so they suggested we get up and walk someone else to eat… since newsflash — we do have LOTS of options around here! On our way out I stopped the hostess and told her we were leaving and the service was terrible. She was VERY kind and asked us to please wait as the chef would want to know this. I saw her go and tell Adam and he didn’t seem to care. My friends were already outside waiting for me to go to a new restaurant. I was really trying to give this place the benefit of the doubt. Adam finally arrived and didn’t apologize but just told me «he couldn’t change what had happened but that he could seat us in the „market“ side and send a server over to take our order.» I tried to get my friends to stay but they were already so upset with the place they didn’t want to so we walked across the street and had fabulous service and food! Adam, please get the Tillman’s owners to splurge on customer service and food allergies training for you — I am sure you’ll make a lot of other people happier as well and able to better train your staff! Happy New Year!

We were looking for some light breakfast options while on a visit to Fort Worth and ended up spending 2 out of 3 breakfasts at FW Market + Table. The place looks like a farm to table venue, and some options were like that … You walk in and seat yourself in a rustic restaurant. Tables could be private or you could sit at one of the oversized sharing tables. One morning we had the Market plate, which was the perfect size entrée! It includes two eggs, hash browns and bacon. My date had the breakfast sandwich with kale pesto and was surprised at the size — two sandwiches on a plate. It was definitely filling, seemed very fresh and was a very quick and low-key place. We came back another day for a quick bite and hoped to try the juices and lighter fare. Unfortunately, they were out of yogurt so we couldn’t get the parfait. We split a breakfast sandwich plate instead and a fruit bowl. I think you could easy share most of their dishes and still be full. We got the beat juice, which I thought tasted like dirt but my date loved it! Maybe I’m just not a juice gal. We will definitely be back and look forward to trying other menu items! This is a great, casual and quick place.

Fantastic brunch at the perfect price point! The atmosphere is chic yet casual, where rustic French elements blend with modern elegance perfectly. The place is done in shades of grey, which is cool and bright, and was perfect for a brisk autumn brunch. I had the autumnal frittata, which was egg whites and spinach done with butternut squash(!) and kale pesto(!!). Absolutely delicious, hit the spot, and was the perfect portion to accompany the AB&J(almond butter and jam) sandwich I also ordered. The jam just so happened to be a fig spread accompanied by a fresh berry mix, but sure — we can call it a mere jam, I guess. My friend ordered the blue-corn grits, and I can say without reservation that they were the best I’ve ever had(I stole around half, because they were so good… Oops!). I’m not personally afflicted with Celiac’s disease or a gluten intolerance, but I can appreciate the wide range of amazingly flavorful offerings at FW M&T which are gluten-free. This would be a great place to bring groups with a wide range of dietary restrictions. The delightful food/atmosphere was further heightened by the provision of Avoca coffee, which has firmly settled Market & Table at the top of my hang-out list. Too bad I won’t be able to get a table once you other Unilocalers find out about this place
