Great atmosphere. The music is always good. Inside and outside seated so it is not smokey like other music venues. Fast bartenders who are friendly and attentive. Love this place.

I was extremely impressed by how savory and different their cuisine was. I tried a little bit of everything and was blown back by the quality and originality of their food. The location is ideal and the music that’s played on most nights is awesome. I really enjoyed coming here and left for the huge and satisfying smile. Keep supporting our local music, y’all rock.

It was pretty dead when we went there last Friday for lunch. Service and food was good just was a little slow. Will try it again.

Came here for an early dinner with my wife and it was a great atmosphere, there were only a few people there and the music wasn’t blaring so we were able to talk and enjoy the food which was really good by the way.

My favorite bar in West 7th! Live music 7 days a week, great staff, good food, and cold beer. Doesn’t get any better.

Showed up for my brother’s girl birthday party. Sat in on live music and enjoyed a meal. Started the evening around 9ish and the place was enjoyable. Drank 2 whiskey shots, 4 beers consumed and opted to mellow in before running around the west 7th area. Stop on in! Crowd is very chill and the staff are all good to go!

Stumbled upon here on my bar crawl of Fort Worth during some free time during a work conference. This bar was by far my favorite. I loved the dive-y feel to it on a Tuesday night. They have a great selection of craft beers, and since I was from out of state the bartender recommended Texas exclusive craft beers, which I really appreciated. Then to my surprise there was a band that night! I think it was the Charlie Schafter band. Their acoustic covers all night were everything what I wanted to hear on a cold winter night. If I’m ever back in town I’m definitely coming back to this bar!

Went to Magnolia Motor Lounge with family for my birthday. This was my second time and I was worried that the place would be packed with obnoxious college students since it was friday night. I had a great experience. It was busy but not overwhelming and the crowd was older too. Our waitress was friendly and on top of her game. She was very informative about the craft beers and helped me pick out a couple new brews that I hadn’t tried before. The food was delicious as always. We started off with the quail appetizer and I had the grilled fruit salad for my main course. I wish I could frequent Magnolia Motor Lounge more often but they are a tad pricey. Still, it’s ok to splurge every once in a while.

This place never lets me down. They are consistently good with their food. Service is always on par, and while they may not have a lot of beer on tap they usually have a good selection. Also in the evenings they have some pretty good bands come through. I would recommend this place when your in the mood for a good burger or chicken sandwich, good beer and good music.

Definably a cool mid-sized bar. I normally like to go to Capital Bar when I am in Ft Worth visiting my sister but over the holiday they were closed so we decided to come here since they were open and not packed with douche tool bag looking young bucks, like Landmark that evening. This place was exactly the speed I was looking for. They had a live band and a good enough crowd to make it interesting but not packed to where you couldn’t walk freely or talk without shouting. Ordering drinks was easy and I enjoyed the local beers they had on tap. I love trying local beers when I am in town. My sister and I, along with the rest of our party grabbed a picnic table on their open air area. I thought it might be too cold but above each table was a heat lamp that made it very comfortable. I will say the tables are a bit short, almost like they were made for children, but I was a good area to foster jokes. I wish I had ventured into this place sooner because it is a great place for conversation, people watching and meeting others. If you’re single you can come here and mingle. If you’re like me, you can come here with family and friends to enjoy great laughs at a great place. During my next appearance to Ft Worth I will surely venture here again.

Was There For An Event And I Had A Nice Surprise, On The Menu Was Chicken Fried Bacon! It Was The Only Food I Had, But It Was Really Good! They Have A Large Selection Of Drinks And A Friendly Wait Staff. They Also Have Band Playing Nightly. If You Are In The Area Stop By And Check Them Out! You Won’t Be Disappointed, Especially If You Like Bacon.

Great atmosphere. Sat at the bar and asked for recommendations from the server/bartender. Decided on her first recommendation, which happened to be the daily special: the tenderloin sandwich. Absolutely amazing. Medium rare beef, onion rings with balsamic on top. House cut fries are tasty, as well. Only negative: the spicy Bloody Mary I ordered wasn’t flavorful enough. I’ll be sure to grab a beer next time! I’ll be back, for sure, though!

Can’t believe I haven’t written about the El Camino Burger. It’s magical. Any toasted bun topped w beef and grilled onions and grilled jalapeños and cheese is going to be good. But Magnolia does it great. Greasy bar food. Greasy appetizers. Not being negative and I’m not talking about pools of grease, but fries and onion rings covered in cheese and eggs and stuff get me going any day. Bar biz seems to start late so we eat here for early dinner and they don’t seem to mind the toddler. Great place. Good location. Always found a parking spot early.

Date night with the wife, we ended up at the Magnolia Motor Lounge to see David Ramirez perform(had just caught him at House of Blues a couple weeks prior). Plenty of room, inside and out, to stretch out and consume your favorite adult beverage. There were plenty of craft brews to choose from as well as domestics. The prices are A-OK(read: cheap) so make sure to pace yourself. Based upon the namesake, I’d imagine this place was a car shop in a previous life– there are bay doors that open up to the outside patio. The patio has a smattering of picnic type benches and tables– with a beer stand for easy booze access. I’d recommend an early arrival if you’d like to cop a squat at one of the tables though– MML seems to have a built-in crowd somewhat so the regulars might snatch those good seats! The acoustics in this place were freaking good. The sound guy had a tablet that enabled some level of remote controlling of levels and whatnot– kinda cool to see that. For such a small place(maybe 200 people max) the sound system is LOUD. David sounded fantastic, as did his supporting band. Coming back to those MML regulars– quite a bunch of nice people. Leon Bridges used to jam here quite often, now he’s playing SNL! Every interaction we had was positive(pleases and thank you’s). Our server was awesome– never had to go to the bar once– she came around at the right times to replenish our drinks and gave water to the DD when the night wore on. We didn’t try the food(opted to go downtown instead) but I would be interested to give it a try on our next visit. It’s a basic menu with burgers and sandwiches– but from the couple of plates I spied it looked pretty damn good. Pretty affordable too($ 10 for a burger). Overall a fantastic experience. Good vibe, excellent sound, nice staff, great location. We will be back for another show soon!

I don’t go there for the foo-foo drinks. I drink beer and they have a good selection. I don’t go there for the food, but they have great burgers. I go for the live music. Always a great line up, and I always have a great time at Mag.

Wasn’t really impressed with this place. They charged a cover when my girlfriend and I went. Not a huge fan of covers especially when there are 10 other bars in the area but I can look past that. Service wasn’t great, waitress stopped by with a casual«do you need anything? Nope? Ok». Didn’t ask how the drinks or food were. She really seemed disinterested. We ordered quesadillas and nachos. Quesadillas were fine but I wasn’t a fan of the nachos. They chips(or puffs rather) aren’t crispy. They are more like pillows. Kinda soggy once all the ingredients are added to them. The drinks were what you’d expect. Decent selection of local brews. Nothing crazy, you can probably find a better selection elsewhere. It appeared to more of a dive/local bar and if they didn’t know you, they didn’t pay much attention to you. I’d try my luck elsewhere.

Live music, cold beer, solid food options. I’d say that’s a win! Definitely a fun time to be had! Oh, and TXRDR is here on Sunday’s for the foreseeable future!

Got a quick bite before heading to Casa Mañana. It’s got an Austin vibe. There is a stage for a band and décor is sort of biker barish but the TV was tuned to golf lessons. We got the loaded fries(it’s queso not shredded cheese) they were different but super good. We tried burgers and pulled pork. Service was great on a Wednesday night. It was yummy bar food!
