Never written a Unilocal review before, but after my experiences here, I had to. The first time I ordered a sandwich with no olives/no onions, I received a sandwich with everything on it. Tonight I tried to take a risk again — everyone has off days, so I gave them another chance. I ordered a medium original, no olives/no onions. The guy repeats to me slowly«medium original with no onions?» I told him no onions, NOOLIVES. He repeats it back to me correctly. I proceed to the window… the guy completes my transaction, makes small talk, is pretty friendly if a little slow at ringing up. Once again, he repeats my sandwich order before he swipes my card & it is correct. I get my bag, he apologizes for the wait, & I drive home. I open my bag, unwrap the sandwich… and see olives falling out of it. Frustrating that I’m gonna have to scrape them off for the second time… So I open the sandwich ANDTHEREISNOMEATATALL. Just cheese lettuce &TONS of olives. And also no tomatoes or onions, which wasn’t the order to begin with… How do you forget to put meat on an original? I don’t get it! They have been friendly enough to me, but absolutely 100% incompetent. It’s almost like they’re just teenagers who aren’t licensed & pretending to be Schlotszkys… it’s that bad. Even the bread tastes/looks different than every other location I’ve visited. Bottom line: don’t go here. It may seem convenient being the only drive-thru around, but you’ll be sorry. I can almost guarantee it.

Dear Camp Bowie store, My mother and I would like to submit our vote and nominate your drive-thru employee this evening(August 13th5:30PM) as the most unhappy employee in the franchise. Yes, you guys! My first indication that the experience was going to be exceptional was when the order total was mumbled at us, and after asking the all mighty Oz to repeat herself because we were sure«alksdjfpoiugtjsdaf» was just too much for two sandwiches, she was sure to enunciate«TWELVE-TWENTY-FOUR» with such a blast of sass, we popped the car in park and turned the airbags off. However, pulling up to the window, we realized the drive-thru-speaker did not kill the drive-thru-window star because that frown was just as radiant as the sass we were showered in 15 feet behind us. And oh my, the way she handed us that bag with such apathy, just incredible. But the best part, and I do hope your sitting for this, the best part was when we looked to make sure the hot sauce packets we requested were in the bag and they, most shockingly, weren’t there. So, my mother, undaunted by improper drive-thru etiquette, tapped politely on the window to be most amicably greeted with the universal, mouth-open, hands-in-the-air signal of, «WHAT!?» through the glass. Upon realizing her error, the employee we are choosing to nominate, grabbed a handful of hot sauce packets and pushed the window open. My mother, undaunted by improper drive-thru employee etiquette, jokingly said«Hey, how did you read my mind!?» and received the most earth-shattering flat-toned response of, «I don’t know» and a glass window closed in her face faster than a fat dog snatches the crumb of a lifetime. We will most certainly be filling out the survey at the bottom of the receipt and will definitely return to your store, not only to receive the 3 cookies the receipt promises with a validation code, but also to check out the Sad Sandwich award your employee is sure to receive the evening they announce the winner. Very sincerely, Whitney P. S. my sandwich was still delicious, don’t stop doing that part

Agree with most of the other reviewers. I had sworn off going in again before the store moved from The Village to the Bryant Irvin location. After the move I had high hopes that the service would improve. Sadly, it has not. The employees are unprofessional and usually act as if customers are an inconvenience to them. There’s usually a 50⁄50 chance your order will be incorrect or incomplete. The new store is nice, well decorated and usually pretty clean but product presentation and service is seriously lacking. I too have experienced long waits, wrong orders and showed up once 20 minutes before closing time and all the chairs were put up on table and the doors were locked. It’s almost as if there is no management. Or at least no management that cares.

This is the new place I hope. Not a super duper place like the one in White Settlement, but okay. The girl in the Drive thru was nice. She forgot half our order but it was fixed before we left. The sandwiches were kinna thrown together it seemed. Just didn’t blow me away. Seemed a little like we were an inconvenience.

As far as the food, it is the usual schlotzkys with no surprises. Their food is consistent to the chain. This is the new store on Bryant Irving and Camp Bowie. The new décor is nice. The store was not busy(one car in the drive thru and only me in the store.). I ordered one sandwich which took approximately 15 minutes to make. That surprised me because they were seriously overstaffed. It was awkward. Also, they need to control the employee noise level… you just might hear some conversations coming out of the back that you really don’t care to hear.

Looks like Subway still has a chance. Food is very bland(the air has more flavor). I had a turkey sandwich and my wife had a pizza and we both had the same reaction. I’m sticking with Jimmy John’s and Jersey Mikes.

Came in on Sunday which they close at 8:00pm. It was 7:48p, which was cutting it close, and the door was locked. I knocked and the girl came to the door and said they were closed at 8 to which I told her it was 10 minutes until 8… She responded with a «my clock says 7:53»… Still not 8:00… Poor customer service in a great neighborhood
