I walked into DWBG already on the fence about the new GMC Sierra, but was coming to take a look at it since I am a loyal GMC owner(Have owned 8 in last 15 years), but visiting this dealership was the last straw. From a salesperson who knew nothing about GMC and what was coming(argued with me that there would not be any changes between 2015 and 2106) to the harassing sales manager that had to come out when we were leaving and try to talk us into buying the vehicle on the spot. I went in telling them that I would be buying in three weeks, no sooner as I was starting a new job, however this was not good enough for them. I got into my vehicle, drove down the street and picked out my new Ford F150 that Ford Lincoln of Franklin held for me for three weeks until I was ready to purchase. Although, I will be buying another new Yukon in the next few months, DWBG will not be getting the opportunity for my business.

Always professional… premium service experience. Folks are beginning to realize Buick is a luxury vehicle on par with Lexus and Infiniti. I do appreciate the quality and the workmanship and the convenience of the location to my home. I am a proud long-time Buick owner, and that pride in my vehicle extends to my desire to have it fixed RIGHT not by the«low cost provider».

My wife and I came in this weekend to purchase one new vehicle, we ended up leaving with two brand-new Buick encores. In all of my life buying cars I’ve never dealt with more honest, upfront, and overall nice people. I will definitely be referring some friends and family and returning for all of my future car buying needs.

What I liked: 1. The greater Nashville area finally has a GM dealer with a low-pressure and knowledge-backed approach to vehicle sales. 2. Our salesman, Michael Sharpton, and new car sales manager, Bryan Cagle, were absolute gentlemen. Both were exceptionally easy to deal with, had a straightforward business mentality, and answered all of our questions clearly and concisely without the common BS you find at many dealers. 3. The whole process took a solid chunk of time(as does any car purchase these days!), however, the thoroughness of the Darrell Waltrip GMC folks put us at ease and did not make us feel like our time was being wasted unnecessarily. What I didn’t like: 1. When we purchased our vehicle on Friday evening, the accounting staff had already gone home for the day. Apparently they are not available on Saturdays, either. If you are expecting a check for your trade-in vehicle immediately upon title turnover, just be aware that it may take a few days to process the funds you are due. This was not a big deal in the least to us but something to consider if you need immediate cash. The pros of this deal far outweighed the potential cons. The verdict: My husband and I were sincerely and completely satisfied with our purchase experience of a new GMC at Darrell Waltrip in Franklin. It was a true pleasure working with Michael and Bryan — any potential new car purchaser would be remiss if he/she did not first stop by Darrell Waltrip to give these guys a chance to earn the business.

They just dropped off my car after servicing it for a synthetic oil change. Mind you, I drive a Nissan and they are doing a drop off special for my place of employment. Talk about amazing customer service and kindness. I don’t drive a GM but I have been thinking about buying a truck. Looks like it’ll be from these guys for sure.

My service advisor Jeff has been working with GM Customer Services to help me fix an issue with my universal remote in the car. He not only went above and beyond to help resolve the matter but has been very understand of my frustrations on the situation. Darrell Waltrip GMC has earned a new customer for life.
