STAYAWAY, THISPLACEWILLRIPYOUOFF. I went in for dinner one night and they overcharged me. There is a risk that their servers will modify the tip amount and if you do not reconcile what you spent versus what they charged you might get ripped off… I called and talked to a «manager» who assured me the«owner» will call me back to take care of the overcharge… All I got were crickets…

Lovely service from the door on — attentive but not smarmy. The drinks were creative and quality. Real bread, perfect, with some crunchy black salt on the butter. Nice wedge salad, though I’d like a chunkier blue cheese dressing. «Crispy duck» wasn’t remotely crispy, soggy skinned, but it was tender and flavorful. The raisin sauce on it was meh. Sadly, our mashed potatoes were cool, almost cold, but if they’d been hot, they would have rocked. The«frites» we’re hot and crisp, but when we asked for something to dip or splash in, like malt vinegar or some sexy sauce, we got offered catsup. Sigh. His steak was tender and juicy, and the crab cake okay, not lump though. The wine wasn’t worth the price, but that was probably our fault. Chocolate mousse pyramid was almost outshone by the lickered up cherries garnishing it: yum. We spent lots of money, which was fine for a significant birthday, but we kind of missed our birthday favorite, The Log Cabin. Nice having a success in that space, though, and we will be back to Fahrenheit, because it’s just a five block walk.

I have been itching to try this place since before it even opened! The sounds of a «boutique steakhouse» sounds right up my alley, and i was right! I made a reservation and was thirty minutes late– parking downtown three days after a blizzard sucks, btw. Matt, the most pile and friendly host ever, was still able to seat me, the only problem is that we had a half booth, so i was sitting in the metal chair. The chairs look cute, but my hips don’t lie, it wasn’t comfortable! It was restaurant week, so my companion and i both got the three course meal. Weer started with bread and butter, the Italian rustica tasting better than the foccacia, but still being a lil hard, if not stale around the crust, as though it was sliced when they opened that night and sat waiting to go to a table… but hey, it was free and i love bread and butter so i wasn’t complaining! My first course, i got the house salad with feta, corn, tomatoes, onions and house vinaigrette. Omg such a good dressing! I only had a bite and took the rest home only due to dietary restrictions that force me to limit my vegetable intake. My entrée was the baseball cut sirloin, which was amazing! I ordered it lightly salted and medium rare and it was the epitome of perfection! So tender it sliced with ease! The signature rosemary mashed potatoes were fantastic, as well. I didn’t think I’d be too fond of them because rosemary is not my favorite seasoning, but they surprised me! There was either a lot of the delicious butter in them, or some sour cream, which added to their wow factor. For dessert i got the petite fours, which I’d never had before. They were just teeny tiny layer cakes with a hard icing and a raspberry drizzle on the plate. They were good, but not what i would typically order, however the other option was a chocolate and peanut butter pie(which looked very good), but i just don’t love peanut butter and chocolate together. Everything came out very quickly, and exactly the way we ordered it! Our server, tara, wasn’t the friendliest, i can’t recall whether she smiled even once, but she completed her job very well. She gave us time when we needed it, didn’t rush us out when we finished, she even had the checks split and ready for us, however we only needed one. She didn’t seem to have an attitude or anything, but she just was not super warm and inviting. Either way, she made sure our experience was everything! Our waters stayed filled by a few different individuals, and Matt the gentleman at the door, even stopped by and checked in on us during our meal! I will definitely return, probably for brunch, but probably not for a bit, since I’m on a crazy diet and can’t indulge too, too often! The chef, the owners and all other employees are great! At least from what I’ve encountered– i honestly don’t understand the one star reviews, bc this place is awesome!

Went with a large group of friends. Service was quick and very attentive. We all ordered off of the restaurant week dinner menu. All parts of the meal were well seasoned and fresh. It was a great value for the portion and quality. Three of us ordered the same steak as medium well though all three came cooked differently.

We had three Fredericksburg Restaurant Week dinners and this was by far the best. Danielle was an attentive waitress. Three courses for $ 20.16 what a deal! Tomato bisque was chock full of yum(and fat grams). House salad with vinaigrette was good. Ahi poke was fantastic. Baseball steak was cooked perfectly and adorned with tasty mashed potatoes(more fat grams). Mahi fish of the day had a delicious citrus drizzle and more spuds! Great bread and pastries from Leon Bakery in DC. Peanut butter pie topped it all off. Manager Matt checked on us to be sure we were happy diners. Very extensive wine list with many spendy inclusions. Don’t by the front door in the winter unless you like a cold gust now and then.

An updated is warranted: the owner was generous enough to offer a refund for my meal. My guest and I were very(pleasantly!) surprised by this offer, and we expect to return once Restaurant Week is completed(the suspected cause of this fiasco). To the owner: my sincere thanks! This review will be updated after my return visit.

Took my wife here and everything we had was simply delicious! Can get a little pricey but worth it! My wife had a great pork chop and I got a prime rib eye with a lobster tail. It was all very well prepared and cooked. Our waitress was a very nice woman that knew the menu backwards and forwards. She was also a real treat, if she’s reading this, sorry we can’t remember your name!

Great dinner. I had the pork chop and salmon and both were very good. the salmon had the best seasoning and a crispy crust, it was one of the best salmon I have had. the pork chop looked dry, but after cutting into it it was very moist and juicy. the service was a little slow, but ok. the meal was kind of pricey, but good.

I’ve been to Farenheit 132 three times since it has opened, and I’ve had wonderful experiences each time. The first time I came for a girls night out, and we had tasty champagne cocktails followed by a surf n’ turf and a few bottles of delicious wine. I really like the way they do their surf n’ turf: they let you pick which meat and which seafood item you want, and have(I think) four selections of each. I’ve done it each of the three times I’ve been, and I’ve chosen a different meat and seafood each time I’ve gone — they’ve all been delicious. It’s also only $ 20 for a surf n’ turf! Although I did spend much more on the wine… I liked it so much that I came back with my fiancé, and we had a romantic evening(I really like the way they’ve decorated, much better than the previous restaurant that occupied the space, great atmosphere). And the last time I went I brought my very picky and wine connoisseur grandparents, who also absolutely loved it. So: girls night out, romantic evening with your SO, or bringing family to town — everyone will love this place. So happy to have a good steak house in Fredericksburg!

Decided to give this relatively new restaurant a try for New Years Eve dinner. Have to say we were not impressed. Both dinner partner and I ordered the filet mignon. Mine came out cooked ok but with an unusual char crust on it which was not pleasant. My dining partner’s came out way overcooked… it was essentially charred to a crisp. I’m not sure why they would even serve it. The sides were good… the rosemary mashed potatoes were good as were the mixed vegetables. I have to agree with some of the other reviewers as to the atmosphere. The atmosphere was nice but too casual given the menu prices. The atmosphere was almost like a very nice sports bar.

Attended a dinner @ this restaurant with 18 others and all of us had a great meal. The service was on point and not one complaint from my team. As a matter of fact my entire sales team complemented me for bringing them there. Fahrenheit made me look good-that in itself is a mark of excellence that will most certainly get me back into this restaurant. Some of the team members have already been back and have raved about it again. Good wine, good bar, great food.

Owner needs a lesson in public relations. I am not about stomping on toes, but if I wanted to go and watch t v, while eating a 34.00 dinner, I would have tried a local crab house. I asked that my steak to be cooked at medium, and it was shoe leather done. I am not trying it again. This was the third time.

I really liked the atmosphere of this place! Everything on the menu sounded good, it was hard to choose. I got a surf and turf for $ 27, really great deal! They have a list of things to choose from for the surf and turf, I got a steak and shrimp. The steak was cooked and seasoned perfectly. My boyfriend got the fish of the day(swordfish) and it was really good! Definitely recommend and will be back! Service was nice and friendly and my water glass was never empty.

Fantastic laid back atmosphere– ridiculous wine list– try the Bodegas Riojanas Monte Real Reserva 2009(a steal at $ 55) and any steak dish. Ample portions, friendly service, and great control of ambient noise. Right in downtown Fredericksburg and a great experience I had! Cole(the owner) made sure everything was great, and Chris, the bartender was a wizard with cocktails and attention to detail.

The All American Pot Roast and Pan-Seared Atlantic Salmon with Lemon Dill Cream Sauce were perfection on a plate! We also ordered an interesting, but amazing drink that had apples, cinnamon, and tequila muddled together on the rocks with a cinnamon stick to finish. So delicious! Service could not have been more excellent. Wait staff and management alike were extremely attentive. I was never wanting for anything! I am actually a Richmond native, but I would make the drive to Fredericksburg for this place alone!

Easily the best food in Fredericksburg. We went there for our anniversary dinner recently and were not disappointed. Everything was cooked to absolute perfection and the staff was professional and attentive. We had the escargot and bone marrow and the Ahi appetizers and both were perfect. My steak entrée was cooked exactly right and flavorful. The wine list was also excellent. Why four stars instead of five? The décor says upsacle casual to me while the menu is definitely fine dining. It’s a little odd to me, though not so off-putting as to keep me from coming back. I cant say I didn’t enjoy watching the hockey game while I ate, though I’m sure my wife would have appreciated less distraction. I’d also like to see a larger selection of liquor at the bar as the emphasis has obviously been on the wine. Seriously though, great food, great time, we will return.

Went there for a drink. It was pretty empty. I was confused by the atmosphere. It seemed like a steak house. Everything was wood, but the music played college dance tunes. The bar stools were uncomfortable their beer list is pretty weak which seem to favor more liquor drinkers.

The food here was very good, but the prices are too high. When paying top dollar for a meal, I expect a more intimate and refined atmosphere. The TVs at the bar and the music being played evoke a more casual dining experience, which the high prices and food don’t reflect. Though, like I said, I really enjoyed my steak, coffee, and dessert. The restaurant should either lower their prices to reflect their current atmosphere, or improve the dining experience to reflect the current prices.
