Showed up at 6pm on a Friday night and was told 1.5 hour for a table. Went to the bar where the staff were very helpful. A couple of stools opened up and ordered the lumb crab flat bresd, very good. For dinner my wife ordered another Flatbread and I got the Kobe beef sliders an neither of us were disappointed. Great addition to Fredericksburg!

Great food, well run, excellent service, friendly staff. Loved the Chicken Marsala. What’s hot is the 500 plus varieties of beer. If you love beer and good food, this place is a great destination.

Wait time 2 hours– to get a table 30 minutes wait for food Food not well seasoned at all. Ordered the scallops and subbed sides with greens beans and sautéed spinach. Both sides very bland. Waitress was very nice and friendly and would probably only come back to try the different ales. I little disappointed in the food. Only three stars for service.

We’ve been to STH at least 7 times(I might’ve forgotten to check in once, but this is what Unilocal tells me). Definitely one of our favorite places in FXBG. GREAT service, tasty food, lovely drink options… . 1. Monday night steak night is amazing. Seriously, for $ 6 we were a little dubious the first time(many weeks ago; now it’s a weekly thing for our family), thinking that, at that price, it was not going to be that great. Wrong. It’s wonderful, cooked to order, nice cuts of meat and also really reasonable«extras»(ie. the shrimp and crab topping!!) to add to your steak. PLUS a dollar from every steak goes to charity! Can’t beat that! 2. Their kid’s mac-n-cheese is the best I’ve ever tasted(which my kid does not always appreciate: «Mom! Don’t eat all of my mac-n-cheese!»). The whole kid’s menu is great and very reasonable. 3. Fish tacos – really nice. This is coming from a SoCal girl, y’all. Just ask for some sriracha on the side if you like ‘em spicy. 4. Cheese plate – yum. 5. Zen martini – pricey at $ 10, but sooooo good. 6. Great happy hour deals, and also hero deals/days. What a lovely thing! They often offer specials to military, EMTs, nurses, teachers… 7. Management clearly rocks here, which is evident by the level of service. Our daughter spilled her water once and about 4 people immediately stepped up to help. And tonight my husband didn’t love a beer that’d been suggested to him and not only was another one offered to him, but Loreena(sp?), one of the owners/managers, came over, brought him a couple of different samples, and then gave him the one he wanted. And we’re not like demanding people; she was just that helpful and awesome. 8. Mark and Aliyah(sp?) … You’re lucky if you get one of these servers. But all of them we’ve had here rock. If you’re ever not happy with anything at Sedona, let your server know, or ask to speak to a manager. They are so accommodating and gracious. It’s honestly a pleasure to come here every time. We’re lucky to live within walking distance; can’t wait for spring when we can enjoy the lovely patio again! Oh, PS, if you’re new to this restaurant, they don’t take evening reservations, but you can call ahead and put your name on a list, then use the app they send you to check your place in line and make sure you get there in time for your table. You definitely need this on a Monday Steak night, when the wait can be more than 2 hours. It’s easy to understand why it gets so crowded, though; it’s that good. Ahh, shoot, also Loreena gave us some stickers tonight and I just realized I left them on the table! :(Next time!

Enjoyed dinner with 28 y o son Andrew and his beautiful Fiancé Jess. Had Tilapia w shrimp and crabmeat. It arrived nice and hot and first bite to last was simply delicious. Andrew is a chicken fanatic and was overjoyed with Chicken Picata that he ate with a big smile. Jess had a nice salad that made her very happy. Had to wait too long for table so we enjoyed the crowd at the bar while we ate in quiet because the food was simply awesome. Flavor and freshness were incomparable and had to remember back to Sign of the Whale in Loehman’s Plaza to find competition. Price was not low but well worth the quality of food and drink.

Four-stars for the drinks, and two-stars for the food. The mixed drinks were enjoyable; the food(we tried the appetizers and entrees) were underwhelming(the vegetables were obviously frozen — one can do better for their money in Fredericksburg). I would gladly return to start my night/happy-hour. I probably won’t be eating there again, though.

I’ll get to the point here. Came here on a Sunday, put my name down for seating outside for two and was told 15 minutes. Was sitting around for about half and hour before walking up there to find out they had«alerted» me through text message when I was sitting literally across the host station. They didn’t say sorry or show any empathy. Finally sat down and then we spent most of our time waiting on the waiter for literally everything from refilling our water’s to getting silverware and everything we asked for. We asked for our salads to be brought out before the main meal but had to remind the waiter twice about it before finally getting them. When our entrée finally arrived it came with sides completely different from what we asked. Lastly when the check finally came it seemed like we were waiting around for about 30 minutes for it to finally get back to us.

Great food, terrible service. The level of service is not at all on par with the menu. Members of my party had to ask three times before being brought a water. We only saw our server when she took the order and brought the check. Our waters(once we got them) were NEVER refilled. No member of the staff even glanced at our table to see if we needed more to drink. We were there on a busy night but that is no excuse for going the whole meal without getting a refill. All that being said, the food was fantastic. The kitchen is to be commended, the servers should be let go.

Dinner was delicious, but this could be because we were starved to death! We waited for more than an hour to be served and another 37 mins to actually receive our meals, we ate like wild animals without conversation and the server had the nerve to ask if we were enjoying the food?! At this point dude, just walk away before u get bitten, hard. Because of the terrible long wait times… they should take reservations like classy restaurants do. The place isn’t shabby, it’s actually quite attractive. It would be more accommodating to people that have lives and need to set schedules. If ur downtown fredricksburg u have to find parking early, this place stays packed. And Brandon is an awesome server!

Overall pretty good. Individual service has been wonderful each time. The first time we visited, our server(can’t recall his name) was happy to help us navigate the menu and decide what to order. He was attentive and helpful. Most recently we had a huge party come in and the waiters were very patient and willing to get everyone’s order correct and refill any empty glasses. Although, the girl who seated us on one occasion had a serious attitude problem and acted like she would rather be shoveling poop than be at work. The line was piling up out the door because she was walking around acting like she didn’t see a huge line forming because no one was being seated. On to the food. The flatbreads are really flavorful and a good deal during happy hour($ 5 when they’re normally $ 7) although I wish they were a little bigger! Devils Pass Pasta is BOMB though. Very creamy, dense sauce with generous portions of white meat chicken. I have also tried the crab eggs benedict which I wasn’t entirely impressed with. The crab was tasty but my mouth was kinda confused by the flavor combinations. Nice runny egg and heaping portions but I really was not a fan. French toast is a little chewy too, nothing stand out. I wouldn’t go back for brunch, but I would definitely come back for lunch or dinner. Interior is clean and brand spankin new and the loo is clean. Free street parking, try Liberty St. or George St. if you can’t find anything on William.

Amazing atmosphere the chef was very personable and my wait staff Venny was a very polite guy. When I arrived I timed how long it would take for me to get service at the bar. They did not see me until after I took a picture of the name above the bar. That was a await of 1min 56 seconds. After that it was all uphill. Even the patrons were fun my group got a table and I will be back. Such a pleasant experience. Also the food and drink specials were all broken down to me by the bartender. The food was marvelous. They have a beer menu I mean a real selection. I had the sliders and they were juicy and tastie. I has a martini and it was fab. Right now this place is a must do!

One of rhe best steak houses I’ve been to lately! I went on a Monday and was pleased to see they had their 8 oz steak for only $ 6, which apparently is every Monday. Not only is the delicious steak only $ 6,but proceeds go to a different charity each month! The steak was fantastic, cooked perfectly! My server was just attentive enough, and very nice even though my friend i was meeting was two hours late getting there. I had the bacon succotash and added a crab cake for an additional six dollars– holy crap! The crab cake was full of lumps and came with a rich, creamy lemon butter on the side. The bacon succotash had lima beans, black eyed peas, corn, bacon and was a bit creamy as well. There is no way i will not become a regular patron of this establishment! the manager even came by and conversed with me for a few minutes about if i was from the areaor had ever been to Sedona before. Everyone was super friendly and i loved my experience!

I loved everything. I had the Acapulco fish, which are fish tacos. Marvelous flavor. My hubs has the surf n turf. The steak was over cooked, but very flavorful. The waiter brought out another steak that was cooked correctly, and tasted just as wonderful. BEER! We tried a few. Alewerks Coffeehouse stout was the winner of the evening. A dark beer infused with coffee. Also tried Youngs double chocolate stout, something about the way it’s brewed, makes it taste like water to me… and Victory Storm King, this one is actually brewed with espresso, it has a bite, but was okay. I liked it until I tried the Alewerks! Can’t wait to go back:)

Everything about this restaurant is amazing. For example, the waiters are really fast and attentive. Equally important would be the stellar food. I had the mahi-mahi, which was well seasoned and cooked to moist perfection. But Sedona offers much more than just excellent service and food. What makes them unique is the vast array of craft beer selections they have. This entire dining experience is also very fairly priced. But to make it even better, they have a special every Sunday on their fish entrees, where any fish entrée is just $ 10.

If you are a beer lover then the Taphouse is a must. Time your visit or be prepared to wait for a table, when we got there it was a 15 minute wait, which soon turned in to a 30 minute for those that arrived later. We started out with the mussels, yummy and perfect for sharing.

The Friday after Thanksgiving, went here with Dora, Ben, James & Savannah. It was almost 70 degrees so we sat outside on the patio. What a great experience. They have an exceptional list of bottled and draught beers. An outstanding choice of German beers like Augustiner Brau, Paulaner and Ayinger. They also have some local craft beers like BadWolf out of Manassas. Most of their beers are 12 ounce pours… only select premium beers are 16 ounce pint pours. We all had something different. I had the Farmers salad which is really good. For my main I had the pulled pork taco which was a sizable portion and tasty. Dora had the grilled steak salad but it came out wrong so she had to send it back. They forgot the walnuts & cheese. It was quite busy as you can imagine and only being open for a month they are still trying to work out some service kinks. I would recommend this place for most any occasion. Especially nice to site outside when the weather suits Rather than hand out the flasher/buzzers to let you know when you’re table is ready, they text you. Sedona is a city in Arizona between Phoenix & Flagstaff. They also have a location in Midlothian & Charlottesville. They offer a discount to military & veterans. There is street parking only.

My husband and I were referenced Sedona by a waiter from Bonefish Grill. We finally decided to give them a try. I guess us and everyone else. Haha. The wait was initially said to be 1.5 hours but it was about 45 min — 1 hour. One thing they do that I like is send you a text message when your table is ready. It allows you to leave and still know when your table is ready. Once we finally got seated we started off our night with glasses of wine. The Moscato I ordered was very good and sweet just how I like it. I sampled it before I got the glass and the sample smelled just like maple syrup. My husband got a dry red wine that he really liked. We ordered an appetizer which was the Canyon Crab Flatbread. It was really good. Nice and cheesy with a good amount of crab. For dinner I ordered the Chuckwalla(spell check) Chicken with Garlic Mashed Potatoes, & Steamed Broccoli. The chicken was ok. It wasn’t as good as I thought it would have been. The mashed potatoes and broccoli were perfect. This chicken is topped with a lemon butter sauce, sun dried tomatoes and goat cheese. It has a very rich and tangy taste. My husband orderd $ 6 Charity steak they were offering. He added the Wild Man Sauce. The sauce was a cream sauce with mushrooms. He loves mushrooms. He had a side of mashed potatoes and green beans. He said his food was perfect. His steak was seasoned and cooked perfect. He loves the mashed potatoes and green beans. I’m not even a steak person but I must say this steak was pretty good. Especially for $ 6… WELL although the initial idea was $ 6 but you have to purchase a drink in order to get the deal, and any topping you add it’s an additional charge. So after the topping and a drink it ends up not being $ 6. More like $ 15-$ 20. That’s not horrible but don’t advertise something as $ 6 and then it’s more like $ 20. I’m all about charities but I don’t like hidden cost like you must purchase this and that and then this is an additionally charge. Just say $ 20 and some of the proceeds will go to charity. Simple! Overall, Sedona has good food and a friendly atmosphere. My husband and I enjoyed our experience. I would go back and suggest them to others.

So far our Waiter Mark is the worst waiter ever. He took almost 10 minutes to show up, probably because he was napping. When he arrived at our table he crossed his arms and yawned! When our drinks finally came he sort of slammed them down on the table. Mark is definitely not like the energetic waiter at the table next to us. Mark came by again, yawned, and took our orders(steak salad and Kobe sliders). The salad was good, maybe a bit over dressed. The Kobe sliders were flavorful but cooked three ways, one was well done, one was medium and the last was medium rare. You would think all three would be cooked the same. Mark made two more appearances, probably to make up for lackluster start, and when queried if everything was fine, he gave us the thumbs up, which they must be trained to do. We would go back as long as Mark was well rested and eager to serve.

My boyfriend and I went here for a date night out and we really enjoyed it. Mark E. was our server and very knowledgeable about the food and beverages. He gave great suggestions, ideas for substitutions and on his 2nd try-the fantastic beer that may now be my favorite: Allagash White. We ordered the Spicy Thai Shrimp for a starter and wow! The menu description says«with just the right heat» and they are spot on! The shrimp was cooked very well and the flavors… wow wow the flavors were stunning! To be honest, We were tempted to ask for some bread to dip in the leftover sauce after eating the shrimp and bed of veggies haha. For his entrée, he ordered jumbo crab cakes with potatoes and broccoli. For my entrée, I ordered the surf and turf(per Mark’s suggestion) steak via medium and one crab cake, mashed potatoes and asparagus. I’ve attached pics to show the plates. Again, the flavors were awesome and we both ate every bite. This was our first experience and I can say with confidence that we will be back :).

Whenever there’s a new restaurant in town, everyone seems to jump all over it-this was definitely the case for Sedona Taphouse in it’s new Fredericksburg location. We came in this evening for my father’s birthday dinner-I usually make reservations prior to any dining experience, but since it was a Monday night in Fredericksburg, I thought it wouldn’t be busy. Wrong was I! We ended up waiting 45 minutes. and it didn’t help that we were starving. Once we were finally seated, we ordered… with those 45 minutes, we took the time to decide what we wanted to eat! We began with the Canyon Crab Flatbread which was absolutely delicious! There were REAL and flavorful chunks of crabmeat, which was topped with a generous portion of melty cheese. For my meal, I had 2 different sliders: the Crab Cake and the Kobe Beef, and the two were served with blue potato chips. Both were equally delicious and had more flavor than I have ever had in a slider. My mother had the goat cheese & sun dried tomato-topped chicken, which was served with the most amazing mashed potatoes and green beans-and outstanding dish! My dad loved his steak and my brother loved his steak tacos. The waitress asked if we were to full for something sweet-of course we weren’t! We ordered a cheesecake and two of their special Mile-High Chocolate Cake… if it is on the menu when you are there, be sure to order it if you are a chocoholic like I am! Their icecream was this melted, but next time I will order it a la mode. I wish I would have taken pictures of our dishes(we were too hungry), as this place deserves the five stars just for it’s food. If the food weren’t as amazing and high quality as it was, I probably would take off a star just because of our wait. Taking away the wait time, our overall experience at Sedona Taphouse was amazing and I am so happy that little olé’ downtown Fredericksburg has a place like this!
