Wonderful service the older lady that does my feet it always nice and it’s relaxing there love it

Leena does a good job for waxing eyebrows.
My husband likes the spa pedicures. the selection of flavored bath salts is a nice touch. but $ 55 with the callous remove (which as someone else mentioned) normally comes with the service, is a bit much.
never ever get the facial. they are not aestheticians. I learned that the hard way.
Nail refill and my pedicures are not up to par. acrylic application is thick and unnatural at best. pedicures are not relaxing. I found myself squirming from the handling of my toes. and I love a good rub. this was just lots of poking and pressure. they carry opi products but the colors are limited and they add nail polish remover to each bottle of polish. I have seen this done while I was waiting for my husband. not sure if that that is a normal practice or them diluting the quality of the product.
I am trying to sum up about 3 different visits in one. I went back because again my husband likes his pedicures here. now I get my brows waxed and wait in the car for him.

Top Nails does not get top marks from me. The only good thing I can say was that i got in with no waiting at 2pm on a Saturday afternoon. Maybe that should have given me a clue. They charged extra for what what comes with a routine pedicure every place else, callous removal. So the cost was $ 40 and the nails were not filed even. The young man who did my pedicure was not in the least bit gentle. I don’t think he knew anything about the inner structure of the foot as he massaged. The woman who did my waxing was rude and dismissive. So, no, I won’t go back to Top Nails.

I’m writing this for a Shellac manicure I got yesterday. I’m not from around here, so I came to Unilocal for the right place to get my nails done; a 5 star review and price shopping led me here.
I walked in and didn’t have to wait long; that was good. However, they told me to pick a color from a magazine, so I did and she didn’t ask me what it was until she had already filed and buffed my nails, trimmed my cuticles, and applied the base coat of clear gel. Then I find out she has a very limited supply of gel polish, and nothing came close to what I wanted, but since she had gone so far into the process already I basically felt pressure to finish the manicure. She chose a light sparkly color that would have to do. It was going fine until she applied the «cleanser» you’re apparently supposed to apply after the first coat has set under the UV lighting; well, I don’t think she’s done many of these manicures, because she wiped instead of dabbed it on,
and SHE WIPED MY POLISH OFF!
Then when I said something to her, she tried to assure me she hadn’t done anything. However, she clearly noticed the difference because she started very lightly dabbing it on my left hand after she ruined my right hand. I said something again after the second coat and she showed me the paper towel to try to prove that she didn’t wipe anything off, but sure that was true after she threw out the evidence on the first paper towel! Now there are clear spots with no polish on my right hand and layers of glitter on my left hand. I’m incredibly disappointed that after she told me she was a «no B.S.» kind of person that she wouldn’t own up to her mistake and just apply another coat of polish!
The only reason I gave this place two stars after the poor customer service was because their shellac cost $ 30 instead of the $ 35 places in Central Park were charging.

Wonderful place to get your nails done, they do an excellent job!!! They are super friendly and the price is right. Ask for Leena when you get there!!! She is awesome!!! By the way, she does excellent eye brows and you never have to wait… :)
