Since I’m no Unilocal snob I’m easy to please. Good no frills doughnuts, good breakfast sandwiches, and blue collar hospitality, Hard to complain after you had your morning coffee and doughnut!

Well this was my first time here. Had full stock of donuts when I arrived and a short line out the door. I asked for couple specialty donuts and a dozen mixed. When I got to work to feed the wolves I see 7 – 8 of the dozen to be all the same sprinkle donut :(really ?!? Every other donut shop I would get half of them raised with a couple old fashioned and even the coconut cake one that no body ever eats. I guess next time I have to hand pick everyone to get a real mix.

Best place for donuts! Not overly frosted and we love their donut holes! Its so cheap here! The donut holes have a nice hint of coconut to it, like it was fried in coconut oil. Not found at other donut shops for sure!

If you don’t care about customer service then sure go ahead and come here. I will never come here ever again. I came here today with my cousin around 7am trying to get our day started with some donuts and coffee. As soon as we walked into the door they looked at us and said someone help these fat guys in «Vietnamese». So I won’t understand them, but little did they know that my cousin and I are both Vietnamese and understood him. We ordered 2 donuts and 1 coffee and left. I have never felt so uncomfortable pissed in a donut shop in my life. So reminder if they’re talking in Vietnamese they may be talking about you just saying.

Yum! It’s a tiny donut /sandwich spot. Came here twice, once for the donuts and the second time for a sandwich. The donuts are freshly made, and there’s a big variety to choose from, even speciality donuts. My co workers and I loved them. I for one love anything fresh. You can taste the difference between Safeway and this place. Today I ordered a ham, egg and cheese sandwich which was overly satisfying. I wish I took a photo but it smelt so good I dove in.

I’ve been coming here since I was in high school(it’s conveniently located down the road from IHS). It was my squad’s go to place if we were in the mood for skipping 5th period. Their donuts are light, fluffy, and flavorful. I sometimes end up coming here on the weekends too instead of going to Krispy Kreme. I’m giving 4⁄5 stars for lack of aesthetic appeal. It’s very kitsch looking with laminated food cards hanging on the walls and lack of décor. But other than that, I definitely recommend the donuts!
Best donuts in the east bay and they are friendly too they’re breakfast sandwiches are ok

Very good donuts and I love their apple fritters, but the sandwiches are nothing to rave about. I live across the street in the houses and me and my fiancé go for walks to Walgreens and 7 – 11 so we pass by it late at night and it kinda bugs me that they leave their donuts out all night and I wonder if they serve the same ones the next morning. Hope not :(otherwise nice people and good donuts

I love maple leaf donuts they are so fast the people that work there are very hard workers. The people that work there are so kind. They never got my order wrong or anybody I know orders wrong. There donuts are good there coffee is the best. The donuts have never tasted old the coffee was never cold. I am very much pleased with maple leaf donuts.

Oooo, the cheese in the bacon, ham, egg and cheese croissant sandwich is so gooey and meltey! Highly recommended by myself and hubby. The coconut cake donuts aren’t too bad either. My only gripe is that they’re not closer to home. But then again, maybe that’s a good thing… For my thighs!

Great place. Always quality food. Not expensive. Very very friendly staff. It is always my go to place for breakfast when in hurry. For less than $ 5 you get a bagel egg with coffee. Filling and cost effective and healthy as well.

This place actually sells out of doughnuts. It could also be because it is next to a high school. So kids with high metabolisms go there for lunch and breakfast. Seriously the line is out the door with high school kids at lunch time. I stop by every once in a while for an old fashioned. My favorite type of donut is actually the apple fritter but if you don’t get it early in the am, forget it. It’s not that tasty by 10. This place is right next to thrift town. So if you’ve been digging around for second hand goods stop by for a treat! You don’t have to look quite as hard to find one here.

A-ok and thats good enough for me sometimes. This donut shop keeps on ticking and is right down the street, which I love of course! There is usually a nice selection. The big bummer for me is that Irvington high-school is walking distance away from this place so you need to be careful when you go or you shall be swarmed by a mob of high-schoolers. The seating is sketchy since the tables are old and beat-up. The weekend is great for a fresh morning donut!

I just had another round of round, glazed donuts from Maple Leaf thank for one of our vendors. The only thing that distinguishes the difference between 1 donut to another has to be the dough itself. I find the dough used at Maple Leaf to have a soft & chewy texture, not air filled like the ones from Krispy Kreme. Nothing beats a Mom-N-Pop donut shop like Maple Leaf. The taste, the quality, the service is A+++ in my book!

The shining star of this place surprisingly is not the donuts but rather the #10. Bagel with ham and cheese. Boom! Super quick too. Sacrilicious and perfect for a quick bite on those days of non-stop thrifting… Thrift Town is next door. It’s a showdown between this place and Bronco Billy’s pizza for best food in the Meadow Square strip mall. There are obviously better restaurants but this place is very consistent with their sandwiches and is the type of place that is popular with the school kids on lunch break so maybe avoid the rush if possible.

Maple Leaf Donuts is located in a corner of an older(run down) commercial shopping center. they close early on weekends. hardly any donuts left sunday 1ish. eats:old fashioned .75, crossaints(1.5) –regular sized, croissant fluffy, fresh, slightly sweet, not too buttery –donut nice crutch on edges. soft interior. 3.5 stars coffee: superior coffee, passed crumbs: –fast friendly service –looks like they were cleaning up to close.
