Great deal!!! The quality is good but the selection is limited… most rolls are a spin off California rolls. This is our go to sushi place because of the price and even though the sushi is basic it taste good! Try the mixed tempura too!

Just remember that for such a low price you can’t expect the best sushi. I came for AYCE dinner(sushi rolls and appetizers). I got a miso soup, salad, and 3 rolls and was stuffed! For AYCE, they allow you 3 rounds to order anything you want but be careful– you will get charged .50 per roll if you have leftovers. I didn’t even make it to the second round! The miso soup was too salty but the salad was good. The rolls tasted fine. They are made with a lot of rice and if you order a roll with raw fish on top, the fish is cut very thin. Overall, good place for a cheap and quick lunch or dinner. AYCE lunch is 9.99 and dinner is 11.99. You get what you pay for in terms of sushi quality. I wouldn’t come here if you’re craving really fresh sushi and sashimi.

Pretty good sushi. Buffets are always great especially with this price. Didn’t have a problem with anything, I love their avocado rolls. It scared me to see that people got food poisoning from their experience but it seemed okay to me! Aside from the food, the atmosphere in the restaurant was great. Everything was clean and the service was fast. Will definitely be coming back for more!

Enjoyed a Louisiana Roll and a bowl of rice with green tea Arnold Palmer. $ 13.42 before tip. Service was fast and friendly. I thought about coming here before, but never did due to time. My boss told me take my time — so I did and I will definitely come back to this place again. Note: Wasabi — Either my tolerance has built up, or it’s milder than most places. I finished it all.

Disappointed. I just got an Ahi Tower and it was not great. Service leaves much to be desired. Slow to pay attention and I had to interrupt the eBay shopping staff was doing to get my check. Music was blasting loud. Don’t recommend.

The sushi isn’t bad for 9.99 all you can eat prices. What I’m really bothered about is the staff. I came in with a group of friends, we all just wanted sushi on different checks. We asked to get more copies of the paper where you mark what rolls you want. We were met with a stiff«one paper one table.» Uhhh ok? So we put a giant order in, sure enough they put 6 different rolls on 2 plates… this is exactly why we wanted separate papers! We weren’t sharing with each other! I definitely won’t be back with others because of this inconvenience.

Love this place. I’ve been to lunch a couple times and had the AYCE sushi. They have the crispiest vegetable tempura I’ve ever had. I’ve tried the California(spicy and regular), Sunshine, and Shrimp Tempura rolls and they’re all great. Quality is much better than you’d expect for the price. They do charge .50 per left over roll, so only order what you can eat.

My daughter and I go here regularly, They have great prices for all you can eat. We usually do lunch but sometimes run a little later for the access to extra rolls available for the evening meal. Love the asparagus roll, and salmon avocado roll. Always fresh, always friendly atmosphere and super fast service. Don’t forget to tip the chefs behind the little counter, it’s all table seating but you can see the chefs through a half window. There is a small jar off to the right, kinda hidden behind a plant, that you can place a tip in. I mention this because for quite a while I saw no way to tip them as you traditionally do at an open bar or on the ticket. This money I believe goes straight to the chefs. It’s a great little place for a quick sushi roll fix and would definitely recommend.

Don’t come here with high hopes of superior sushi, but if you’re hungry at lunch and want a great deal, this is the place to come!(Or if you’re a novice sushi eater not fond of too much raw stuff). Most of their rolls are California rolls topped with various toppings(ie: eel, masago, eel, salmon, etc.), vegetable rolls, or your basic rolls(ie: shrimp tempura, spicy tuna or salmon). But I like that they offer soups, salads and sides with the AYCE. So again, for a cheap fill up, great place. For superior sushi, I’d go down the road to sushi robata.

Came here again for a quick bite to eat and was again so pleased! They’ve improved their service(it was attentive and food was delivered quickly) and everything we ordered was really good. We came on a Thursday night and it was busy with only 2 tables free, yet our food came out much quicker than expected. Will be coming back here more often as there was nothing to complain about. What more can you ask for that good food and fast service?! It’s not the quality of an expensive Japanese restaurant with high end sushi and sashimi, but it’s outstanding for the price, especially the all you can eat menu. We’ve done the AYCE menu and ordered special rolls off the other menu at half price and there were no complaints from anyone at our table. It was all very good and served with a smile!

We LOVE this place! Really good Sushi rolls even if it wasn’t all you can eat! Jalapeño roll is my favorite. The soups and rice are great and all you can eat too. We really like the Romo roll… it isn’t on the all you can eat but you get specialty rolls half off with AYCE! We drive from Anna to get our grub on! Definitely a favorite!

This used to be my favorite restaurant until last night. $ 11.99 all you can eat sushi really is too good to be true. Got food poising and have been feeling horrible all day. I’m really sad that my favorite sushi place is forever ruined for me. Service is good and the sushi is usually good but be ware.

i’ve only been here twice, but i left very happy both times. service is good, they gave me a refill right away and were always there for my order. i don’t need them coming every 2 minutes to ask how i’m doing. the rolls are half size, usually 4 pieces. i’m fine with that, i can order as many as i want. the selection is lacking, but for $ 10 i’m even perfectly fine with that. don’t make the mistake i made and drive to the wrong Zen(sushi and grill) like i did and you’ll be happy.

It’s a quick stop when you are hungry for some cheap sushi. Food is ok, really don’t expect much it’s quick grab and go, you get what you pay for. I usually order salmon avocado roll and their miso soup and shrimp tempura. I come here wth my 2 y. o son who love miso soup and avocado rolls :)

I was so excited to try a new AYCE sushi place, especially at $ 10/adult lunch. The waitress brought a slip of paper to select rolls in 3 rounds. Appetizers: Miso soup, hot & sour soup, and house salad(with ginger dressing) were all pretty good, albeit salty. Fried rice was pretty bland and did not have any veggies or meat; couldn’t eat more than 2 spoons of it Sushi Rolls: Most of the rolls come with 4 pieces(not the standard 8), but some of the fried rolls come in thinner 6 piece portions. There is a decent portion of filling/rice per roll, but somehow didn’t really enjoy them. Some rolls could’ve used more sauce — had to drink a lot of water to wash it down. The quality is reminiscent of another cafeteria-style AYCE sushi joint in the area. After trying a variety of rolls, the only one I really enjoyed was the salmon-avocado roll. Service: Giving 1 star extra for service. Waitstaff was friendly and attentive. Considering lunch rush, food came out within decent amount of time. Bottom Line: Quality of the rolls falls in line with the price. Perhaps ok for quick sushi fix, but just a little bit better than chinese buffet sushi. May be better a-la-carte?

This Japanese sushi bar was great! However, this place works a bit differently: it’s kinda like a buffet but you only get 3 orders; within each order you can order as much soup, sushi, fried rice, tempura as you want but you and your party have to finish all the food before the 2nd order etc. I believe if you didn’t finish your food, they would charge you. FOOD: 4⁄5 SERVICE: 3⁄5 AMBIANCE: 3⁄5

Visited Zen recently. Atmosphere was nice and the staff were friendly. For the price, the sushi was good! I would say that the all-you-can-eat price is fair. I would recommend the tempura fried California roll, though. That one was very good. Overall, I would visit again!

Yes, of course I came here for the $ 9.99AYCE sushi(at lunch, goes up to $ 11.99 for dinner). It was not that packed and we were seated and served most quickly. There was good amount of «premium» rolls that were included in the special. It includes miso soup and a tempura plate for an appetizer if you so wish. The sushi was actually pretty good and, I believe, for the price cannot be beat. Our party of 3 totaled up what it would have cost to have to pay for each item consumed if ordered off the menu and it was $ 110. The menu prices are cheap, too. The rolls were not«too riced» as you got a decent amount of meat. Again, it is a great value and I would definitely come here for dinner as well.

Blech. I’m sorry, but when I order a «squid and vegetable salad» for $ 7, I expect much more than microwaved squid(yes, I could taste the uneven temp of the squid) and bagged lettuce. Spicy tuna roll was a textural blaspheme to all that is beautiful about tuna sushi. Maybe their specialty rolls are good? I don’t know… I’m a sushi purist and never go for rolls. Nigiri is the real test and this was a total fail. Never again… As an aside, The fam left half their food. We just paid the check and not one person in there asked us why. What a shame.

Quick bite to eat before we hit the road! Great stop choice!!! The house salad was so delicious! I could of ate 2! Sushi was big and very very good! We couldn’t get over the fast service and food! It’s one of those finds that you don’t expect to be that great but knocks your socks off! Highly recommend! Bring a appetite here! Pricing is very very reasonable!
