Hertz Rent A Car

Rep wasn’t present at the location when I arrived, when he did arrive I received a car that wasn’t cleaned and had dirty tissues and crumbs in it. He also never once asked me about optional coverage. When I reviewed my final bill, he had charged me $ 78 for LDW without my permission. This was unacceptable and highly unethical. He also told me that he would reduce the rental rate by $ 5/​day, which did not happen. Management was unwilling to refund any of my excess charges and instead offered a coupon, as if I would rent from them again. I will never use Hertz again for my rentals and I will advise others to take their business elsewhere. I made a huge mistake by trying a new company for my frequent rentals. Enterprise is routinely less expensive and provides far better customer service.
